Mandar provided helpful information about each cat during our preliminary video call and he was very responsive when I had questions during the sit. His place is centrally located and it was easy to get around without a car. The older cats are assertive, while the younger cats are a bit shy, though curious. Overall, it was a nice sit.
We had the most wonderful house sit at Dave & Donna's home. They are a lovely couple & most accommodating, we felt very welcomed. Kinney became our best friend straight away & it was a joy to spend time looking after her. She loved the long walks & going in the atv They have a gorgeous log cabin home, we were comfortable & enjoyed having a fire & hot tub. If you like beautiful mountain views, quiet surrounds, wildlife & space to breathe, I highly recommend this sit. It was a little bit of paradise to us & we appreciate being chosen to stay. Communication was great through this site as well as we had a zoom call to meet as we were international travellers. Thank you Dave & Donna
Estel and Ben are such a wonderful couple, so welcoming and accomodating in their gloriously luxurious home. They introduced us to some wonderful people and we hope to stay in touch as life long friends with the whole pettaciato gang ! Oona and Luca have a special special place in our heart and we miss their cheeky fun and loving nature already ! Would recommend 100x over!
Super nice house & pet sit in a cool, trendy part of Istanbul. Gus is a very chilled dog who loves a head rub & a butt scratch at all times and is very easy to look after. Kiraz is a whirling dervish of fun & energy but exceptionally good on a lead and with her commands at only 3 months old. She needs lots of pee breaks and is good at asking for them. They are a super sweet combo. There’s a big park just down the road & a long sea wall for walks with the dogs three times a day. Locals love to chat too especially when you have a cute puppy! Be advised the pooches will eat anything they can find:) Cheryl is a warm, open, engaging host who welcomed us like old friends. (We’re now keeping her as a new one) & the apartment is beautifully furnished and very comfy for your city stay. Kadikoy is bursting with coffee shops, Shopping and restaurants everywhere so you can mooch to your hearts content. We will return - thanks all of you.
My week with Queenie was super lovely. He took a moment to relax around me but we were soon chilling together on the couch and going for walks without an issue. Jess was a great communicator and had everything organised and made caring for Queenie and her home so easy.
We had a lovely time hanging out with Dalton at Emily's house. Dalton is a sweet cat with lots of personality. Emily's apartment was comfortable, pleasant and well organized. Her Welcome Book had all the info we needed to care for Dalton and to use all the essentials in the apartment. Emily was readily available when we had questions. I hope that we have an opportunity to look after Dalton again soon!

Carol and Ollie looked after our Cockapoo Mable for 4 nights. She had never been to a kennels or a home boarder before and at 10 we were worried about how she would settle. The home visit to meet Mable put our minds completely at rest. We then went to visit Ollie and she had a chance to wander around the house and garden. I would very much recommend We Love Pets and we will definitely be choosing to bring Mable back for another visit.
FANTASTIC!! Ollie & Carol are amazing, welcoming & friendly. Our labs love coming to stay, both for day care & longer stays. The excitement in their tails says it all when we arrive at their house, making a beeline straight to the toy box . .And not even goodbye to us, charming – our dogs have certainly made themselves at home. Ollie & Carol make the whole process really easy from initial meet & greet, understanding our needs & our dogs, through to booking & payment. And there's plenty of communication whilst they look after our dogs with updates via Whatsapp. There’s no stress, we feel really comfortable leaving our dogs (securely) with them knowing that they will get all the love, attention, plenty of exercise & loads of cuddles (spoilt is an understatement :-) ). Carol and Ollie looked after our pooch Pepe and Pepe has congestive heart failure requiring medication multiple times a day. We wanted to ensure that he was with carers who were confident and happy to take on a pet that requires a little extra attention and diligence. Both Carol and Ollie took the time with us and Pepe, with multiple introductions so it wasn’t such a shock for him to be in a new home. (I should also mention he has terrible separation anxiety). We are so lucky to have found We Love Pets Tamar Valley, who took amazing care of Pepe and kept us up to date daily with pictures and updates such as his breathing rates etc. thank you for being not just a wonderful support for Pepe but also for us so we could focus on what we needed to do while we were away
Carol and Ollie have been brilliant with my sprocker, Winston. Whether it’s for walks, day care or last minute pop ins when I am delayed at work, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Winston is always delighted to see them which I think says it all!
Carol and Ollie such beautiful souls, both were entrusted with the care of Nelly our older Labrador and Tally Ho the bonkers lurcher. Throughout we were sent pics whilst at a festival, both settled and taking in the love afforded during their stay. Will look no further the next time we are away, particularly for the old boy who just needs settled time (I thank Paul). Absolutely stunning folk with huge hearts for extended fanimals. 🌱
We were so fortunate to book Carol for the care of our ageing dogs Coco and Lula . They are our babies and have medical needs due to their 14 and 15 years xx Coco needs a lot of medication including eye drops . All very hard for us to administer let alone someone else . CAROL was amazing !!!! She cared for them with love and patience . They seem so well and healthy on our return and more importantly we’re very happy doggies . She sent me regular txt to keep me up to date with their care and wellbeing and I cannot recommend her highly enough . I will never use anyone else again for my holiday dog care . I could actually relax and enjoy my holiday knowing my very old dogs we’re in extremely good hands x
Ollie and Carol are the best. Professional, calm, considerate. Be aware that your dog may rapidly love them more than you, but that's probably a good thing.

Sophie is probably the best person ever to take your dogs to. My two have been going to Sophie for daycare since May. It was strange because I couldn't have a look around because of Covid. But I knew she was good because a couple of people in the village said she was brilliant. Anyway, they bloody love it there. Thay are happy and relaxed. Stan thinks he owns the place. Not only the dogs but Sophie was a complete lifeline for me during lockdown. We had many chats over the fence and I would love to call her a friend. Any money spent here is well spent. 100% recommended!!!
A fantastic doggy daycare. Sophie really knows how to look after your dog. It's a 10 min walk from Honicombe Manor so excellent if your staying there and need a day or so without your furry friend. My Finnish Lapphund will let me know if he doesn't like somewhere but didn't dig in and need dragging, which for him is a very positive review.
Shophie is fantastic you couldn't wish for a better person to look after your pet. She goes above and beyond with your pet if there were 10 stars it would be 10/10.
What can I say....this place is amazing! We were let down last minute with our sitter and the staff here moved heaven and earth to get Arthur in. Naturally we were nervous to put our dog in a Kennels but we had a visit and our fears were immediately put to rest. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and caring and the facilities are lovely. I even had calls during the week to reassure us whilst we were away. Highly recommended and we will definitely use again.

Had our Lakeland Terrier, Raye, here for two separate weeks this year. Cracking kennels. Lovely staff, very professional and Raye comes home tired but in great shape.
All 4 of my cats have had stays at Tri-acre on multiple occasions. The staff are welcoming, the place is beautiful and I would definitely recommend.
My parents used to bring our Springer here and always highly recommended tri-acre. My sister now brings her Sprocker here and we've just picked up our Sprocker Alfie after his very first stay. It seems he had a lovely time and has been well looked after. Friendly, welcoming staff and a lovely property/location. Can't recommend them enough and will be bringing Alfie back in June when we have a wedding to attend.
We took our 7 month old rotweiller to Tri Acre and they managed to fit us in instantly and our dog had a great time there, he didn't seem to want to come back so must have been good

Our rottweiler called teddy,had never stayed in kennels before. I was very worried about leaving him,the people working there were lovely. Holly was really lovely, and put me at ease. I phoned every day to check on him,and they always put my mind at ease. Will definitely use these again.

The total opposite of first impressions last ! Could do with a sign at the top of the road,and the lane down to the kennels almost requires a 4x4 ! That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The staff are lovely,and truly care about the dogs. Every time I arrive,either to drop our dog off,or pick him up, the staff are exercising and walking dogs so they don't spend all day shut in. Highly recommend this little kennel.
My dog loves the staff and doesn't want to come home! It is obvious that they adore the dogs in their care and I completely trust the staff to look after him. He has boarded there and regularly goes in for day care. Charlotte and Jo are reliable, friendly and completely trustworthy. They pick my dog up from home and drop him back and this service has been invaluable.
We had our dog Jasper (Cairn terrier) there for 4 days. We left him on a Thursday morning and on Sunday morning, around 09.30, I received a call to be told not to worry, but he had a bath because on Saturday he had a few loose stools, so he got a bit dirty. During the call it was stressed to me not to worry, that the call was mainly to inform me about the bath. The same day at around 18.00, I was called from the kennels and told that it might be best if I come and pick him up earlier as he is not feeling very well. Luck has it that we were on our way back home so we were there to pick him up in less than an hour. He scared us. He is a terrier, so very energetic and they gave him to us unable to stand and almost unresponsive. His eyes were opened, but he was not reacting to seeing us and to us calling his name. He had no control of his bladder, and although he was trying to drink water he was throwing it all up. We went straight to the vets and it became very clear that he was severely dehydrated, so much so that it was almost impossible for them to draw blood and when they finally did, his blood was so concentrated that all values were off the charts. He was in acute kidney failure and the doctor, rightly so, asked us why it took us so long to get him there. We had him at the vets for 3 days on fluids, he got better and had medication for another week to help his kidney function and I am told we are quite lucky that after this episode he seems to have no lasting kidney damage. The conclusion of the vets was that he had an enterocolitis (cause undetermined) which caused vomiting and diarrhoea, but the kidney problems likely occurred because he became severely dehydrated. We left our dog at this kennel thinking that he was being watched and cared for by people who know what they're doing. I question their capabilities, because they completely missed or ignored that my dog was throwing up whatever water he was drinking, he had diarrhoea for more than 24 hrs and he transformed from a typical bouncy terrier into a dog that could barely keep his head up. I don't blame them for him getting sick, that happens, but I blame them for ignoring his symptoms and not taking him to the vets sooner. I think they failed miserably in their duties.
Having had dogs most of my adult life I was always hesitant to put my dogs into kennels. However life gets in the way and I had to use a kennel service. What did I ever need to worry about. My dogs were happy enough. They were in the kennels for 3 days and were fine when they returned home. So I will use this service again. Thank you team for taking good care of Jess and Lydia for me.
Whilst staying in Cornwall we needed somewhere for our dog just for the day. Great ladies, Joanne was great with our dog who is quite nervous of new people. This didn't faze Joanne and they became firm friends. We had regular videos and pics of Rowan which put us at ease.

My pup is a rescue from Romania, he has previous trauma and anxieties which has made it very difficult for me to find a kennels for him. He is such a wonderful boy but this has never been seen by previous kennels due to his fears of new people. However, for the first time ever, I have come home from my travels to find not only had my boy eaten while I was away including hand feeding when needed (he previously has gone on hunger strike while I’ve been away) but he had walked every day and even allowed head scratches!! This has overwhelmed me with joy and I honestly will never use any other kennel to look after my boy when I have to travel. They are so kind, gentle and work in line with the needs of your pets. They took time to have a settling in day, getting to know my pup and ensuring he felt comfortable with them as well as reassuring me that he would be in good hands. This is an absolutely wonderful place and leaving your fur baby here ensures that they are safe, happy and well looked after. I can not express how wonderful this place is. I will be sure to recommend them. I can not sing their praises enough.
This was my first time using a cattery whilst I went on holiday. Affordable & fantastic service with a particular mention to Luke - really put me at ease, showed me around the cattery and when I picked my cat up, I could tell she had been loved and looked after really well whilst I’d been away. I would absolutely use a cattery again - I travelled from Plymouth to Kit Hill & would likely do that again rather than going local purely based on the service for this stay. My dog Rusty stayed recently for the first time, on arrival the lady at reception came out to greet him and I could see he was immediately at ease with her and happily went off with her. On our return to collect him we spoke to Luke who was already very knowledgeable about our dog so I knew he had been well looked after, he looked well fed and in good condition and was happy. I would certainly recommend Kit Hill Boading Kennels for your dog.

Our dog stayed at kithill castle kennels the first time for 3 weeks at the end of summer. I have to say he was so well cared for, the staff are knowledgeable and kind. When I collected him they told me things about his personality and quirks which proved to me they spent time with him. We booked our 2 dogs in for 8 days, slightly apprehensive after a different experience elsewhere. We opted for kennels this time as felt they may feel better just on their own. The communication with Dawn and the team was brilliant before hand answering any questions I had. Drop off was very simple and quick yet thorough and they went through everything that would happen and listened to any worries/routines we had. On pick up the boys came bounding out wagging tails, healthy looking and not smelly (which had happened at the previous place and my main concern) they had clearly been looked after well, they have come home and not been in a mood with us either! Great service, they managed to fit our 2 dogs in at the last minute over Christmas having never used them before, on collecting our dogs they knew everything about them and the dogs came out happy and almost reluctant to leave. They are really well organised and when I collected my Jack Russell he was in no hurry to leave. I was really happy about this that he seemed so at home there. I just called the phone number on the website and they really worked around my needs. I also really appreciated receiving emails whilst on holiday letting me know that Bosco was fine and happy. We are very particular about where our dog stays when he's not with us. We've tried kennels, dog sitters etc but none compare with Barking Mad. He always comes home with a spring in his step, a wagging tail and totally unstressed. Caroline and Jennifer always ensure that the hosts who look after him understand his needs and temperament. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
I have nothing but praise for barking mad. They have always gone above and beyond, even helping me out very last minute in an emergency situation. over the last couple of years my dogs have loved their time away and have been treated as one of the family. This is vital with having a bull terrier as they love people and cuddles. She comes back very happy and tail waggy.
