Dog Sitters in Calton

We were so lucky to have Alison. Seamus our dog loved her - so much so that after politely welcoming us home, insisted on sitting on her lap in the car on the way back from the airport. When a fuse blew she found the fuse box and sorted it. We knew she would have sorted anything while we were away. She managed to bring Glaswegian dreich weather with her but it was sunny where we were and the garden was happy!

Emilia was an excellent communicator and clearly loves cats. Percy was glad to see me but seemed happy and well fed. The flat was clean and tidy and the sheets were changed. I cannot fault Emilia and would definitely call on her again if she hadn't moved to Glasgow!

Guy was just fantastic. I have two cats with very different personalities and needs and Guy was wonderful with both of them. Both Prince and Elton were so at ease when I returned after a week and a half away, it was as if I’d just popped to the supermarket (over seven years I’ve had various people caring for them and usually I get the cold shoulder from my Elton for a full day). Prince is typically an extremely shy and timid cat… by day two he was sitting in Guys lap letting him pet him. This is unheard of- I’d actually told Guy not to be offended if Prince mostly stayed to himself and just came out for his food! He also sent loads of charming photos and amusing updates, which kept my mind at rest while away. They both seem to have really bonded to Guy and I only wish I could hire him as a full-time live-in nanny 😂 he really seemed to get their personalities and was willing to put in all the time and attention they needed. As for the apartment- he was respectful of everything, clean and tidy… perfect 👌 A heartfelt thanks to you Guy from me, P and E. And if you’re on here looking for a stellar sitter for your cats, then look no further… Guy is your guy 😻🤷🏻‍♀️

Louise is kind and looks after the dogs excellently. She always is accommodating leaves the house clean and tidy

Geri is a lovely lady and a most reliable sitter. Having taken the trouble to travel across several weeks before the arrival date in order to meet Kelpie and see both the house and the area it was clear that she wanted to ensure that Kelpie was comfortable with her. It was arranged that Geri would arrive the day before we had to leave the house and this meant that she was able to accompany us on a long afternoon dog walk during which she was immediately able to start using commands and recall with Kelpie. There was an immediate bonding. Communication, via What'sApp videos, was excellent and Kelpie always appeared happy and relaxed during the week's sit. She looked fit, properly exercised and well when we arrived home. Indeed, she wanted to jump into Geri's van when she was about to head off! On our return the house was very tidy with sheets and towels all washed and she had made some bread and soup and left milk in the fridge. We would have no hesitation in recommending Geri and hope that she might consider another sit for Kelpie.

We had the pleasure of having Mariana and Jonny stay with us for a night or together side of our holiday, so got to know them quite well. I think we like them as much as Obi does. He had a wonderful time, enjoying frequent walks and other adventures - going to cafes, and on bus rides! He wasn’t particularly thrilled to see us upon our return, which we have taken as a good sign. He is happy and healthy, and the house was very clean and tidy. They even stripped their beds before leaving this morning at 6ish, and cooked dinner for us on the night we returned from holiday. They are a delightful, responsible and trustworthy couple.

It was great to have Deborah look after our house and pets - she was always ready to give information and updated us. She took great care of our house as well as pets. We would be delighted if she can come back in the future - thanks for everything Deborah

Zaneta & her girls arrived a day early to go through what was required and settle in with my dog. The house was left clean & tidy and she also left me bread, milk & chocolates for my return.

It was a pleasure to meet Alysha and to have her look after Willow and our house for us. Alysha was great at communicating before and during the sit and we felt confident that we could rely on her. We found her to be respectful and easy to chat to, she left the house clean and tidy and with a very satisfied dog! We would not hesitate to recommend Alysha!

Elizabeth was great , 100% reliable , lovely person and she took great care of Lulu . I would recommend her !

Lisa did a wonderful job with our ponies and dog. Communication was super and everything was immaculate on our return. Lisa took everything in her stride including all the quirks of the house and two very tired people desperately needing a holiday giving her rather robotic instructions!! This is the second time Katie has looked after Misty. We just didn't have to worry about the cat or the house at all .Misty was very relaxed and happy when we got home and everything was clean and tidy. Katie communicated well with us before and during the sit . I'd have no hesitation in recommending her as a sitter
