VERONIKA is absolutely the BEST!! Such incredible care of my cat Maui and communication on a daily basis along with photos keeps me from worrying since I am always traveling. She is a wonderful person and sitter and your house is immaculate upon return home!! She is so busy , you will need to book her in advance! EVERYONE WANTS HER back, including me. Write for further recommendation if it helps. V Regan

Pam
Pam and her husband Richard were the best hosts, they were so helpful and accommodating to my partner and I. Their home is lovely, cosy and spacious and it was so easy to communicate with Pam whenever we had any questions. Lexy was the sweetest dog, super affectionate, loves attention and is such a funny little character we wished we didnt have to leave. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would 100% recommend and sit for Pam again.

Gary
Gary and Jane are very kind and generous people who were excellent communicators, prior and throughout the house sit. We house and pet sat for Gary and Jane’s for two weeks. Their beautifully renovated Chateau home, located in a small sleepy village in the South of France, was a pleasure to look after. Gary and Jane allowed us to arrive a day early and leave a day late which was very kind of them. Prior to leaving for their trip Jane cooked for us twice, and what a cook she was….we’re still pining for her culinary delights!
Gary and Jane’s dogs, Merlot and Tori are great characters and a joy to look after. Both Merlot and Tori are spritely and between them they have boundless energy; they love playing fetch and going for long walks. They are incredibly well behaved when on their walks and they’ll always come back to you should you need to call for them.
Their cats, Skooter and Roxy are both gorgeous cats, and they too are lovely to look after. They’re both fairly independent and will only come for cuddles when it suits them, making the cuddles extra special when they do feel like one. Roxy is 14 years old and has a little trouble with her joints so be ready to help her out when she needs it but other than that she is in amazing health for her age, a testament to Jane and Gary and their love for their pets.
If you wish to look after well behaved and loving pets, stay in a lovely home in beautiful surroundings and deal with wonderful homeowners then we would highly recommend sitting for Gary and Jane and their furry clan.

Suzie
Sorry Suzy that it has taken so long to leave a review but we got caught up in other things.
This was just the perfect pet sit, dogs, poultry, house and gardens were just wonderful.
Echo and Solo are very easy to care for, eat, exercise, play then eat some more. They are both lovely dogs who would walk for miles in the surrounding countryside. Full of fun and energy they were ideal companions for our stomps through the rather wet Hampshire countryside. No need to transport them anywhere as there are so many variations of walks from the door step.
We stayed in the annexe which has been beautifully done up with a bedroom, shower room and kitchen, all heated, very spacious and we loved it. It was a very short walk to the main house so we didn’t feel we were abandoning the dogs in any way. Suzy let us use her kitchen and we did use the snug in the main house in the evening so the dogs had company. The countryside around Alton is very familiar to us so we knew where to walk, shop and find most things we need. It’s all within a few miles and if you want big town therapy Basingstoke is about a half hour drive away. It is a beautiful area but a car is essential for this sit. Suzy and her family were lovely fun loving people who welcomed us with a delicious meal and left us clear instructions about the dogs, poultry, house and annexe. I would recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys the countryside and the companionship of two very sweet energetic dogs and of course tasty eggs every morning. We loved it and hope to get invited back.

Fiona
We had a lovely long weekend looking after Duke at Fiona and Dave's home.

Communication with Fiona was excellent, both before & during the sit. We were made to feel very welcome and had a great handover of Duke's routine, needs and likes, and in particular, his favourite games.

Duke is a gorgeous friendly dog, who loves playing all sorts of games and to spend time cuddled up on the sofa. He is anxious around other dogs, so Fiona and Dave advised us on a walking route where they seldom meet others walking their dogs. They also arranged exclusive use of a local exercise field where we had fun with Duke using the various pieces of equipment.

Their home is beautiful, clean & comfortable. Having renovated it very recently, it is filled with all sorts of modern equipment - we had great fun with the lighting system! And the garden is fabulous with open views across the countryside.

We didn't get to see a huge amount of the local area, partly due to Mick not being too well during the trip & also as we didn't want to take Duke away from their local walk. However, their home was the ideal place to spend a lovely relaxing weekend, appreciating the garden, watching box sets by the wood burning stove and eating delicious food.

We would highly recommend this sit.

What a wonderful time we had staying at Mick and Deb's. It is the most lovely location, and a beautiful home. They are fantastic Hosts and we felt right at home the moment we arrived. There is plenty to see and do close by, and a bus stop right out front if you don't have your own car.

Then there is Cleo!
She is the most delightful pup. So happy chasing her ball along the beach, meeting other dogs, or lounging beside our bed through the night. I honestly don't think we have had a more relaxed pooch! (We contemplated smuggling her home in our car).…..will miss her dearly... but hope to see her again in the future .
We would highly recommend Deb and Micks Housesit.

Lisa
Lisa and Tim were extremely welcoming and generous, and the three dogs made for excellent countryside companions - not once complaining about the muddiest of muddy walks! This is a warm, comfortable and spacious home (the bed is extremely cosy and you hear NOTHING at night). There’s beautiful artwork throughout and we can see that in the summer months the lovely garden will be a real sun trap.
We had a wonderful evening chatting with Lisa and Tim (honestly, the housesit is worth it just for the conversations you’ll have) and they left us the next morning with easy to follow instructions for the dogs. Maude is the boldest who will lead the way on walks; Dorrit and I ambled behind. Tobias is an absolute sweetie and pretty funny outside: as the other two play with balls, he will stand on the deck and commentate. Overall, they’re an easygoing, friendly trio who love curling up on cushions and queuing up for treats.
We didn’t know anything about this part of England before coming but were delighted to find some gems nearby (THE apple tree that inspired Isaac Newton!). The villages are ridiculously pretty, there are loads of meandering footpaths to follow, and it would be the perfect place for cyclists - weather somewhat put us off that this time.
