Robert and I had a wonderful time with Suki's two lovely dogs Alba and Luca and the equally lovely cats, Manu and Mali! They were all such 'chilled' and communicative animals. Of course Suki's hospitable arrangement to for us to overlap with her and her young son before they left on holiday was a winner in that it allowed the animals to get used and to to trust us. It was also fun to meet one another and to chat and get to know each other. Suki was a lovely host - welcomed us with tea and a lovely homemade soup as well as ensuring we had some fresh food until we could get to the shops. We enjoyed a lovely evening and we were able to take Alba and Luca out for their first walk with us, finding them beautifully behaved and very responsive right from the start. We walked the dogs at least twice a day sometimes three times since their company was delightful - very calm yet fun and exceedingly good when we encountered other dogs, even one or two strays who ceased their barking or similar due to Alba and Luca being fairly unreactive to them - such relaxing walk companions! The park around the urbanization is lovely already with blossom and flowers and lovely water features, benches and also play area for children and some fun exercise machines! Further out within a kilometer or so there was an even bigger park with a lake with ducks and terrapins, lovely natural features, many benches so hugely favourable for enjoyable doggy strolls! The only area we couldn't take them was the cafe but we were able to get drinks and icecream from stalls and there were several fountains and water taps. It was particularly beautiful there the Wednesday that all the locals celebrated Eide mainly by having picnics and strolls, children rolling down slopes or watching the terrapins....etc Istanbul is certainly a lovely city area with all the shopping and easily accessible transport facilities. Not least in making our stay pleasurable were Manu and Mali the cats who when we had 'home' afternoons were able to play out in the small front garden area. They were also fun to play with - hide and seek and various cat/dog toys! Suki and myself Antonia communicated easily all throughout or stay. Suki sent us useful links and had lent us their city travel cards which we were able to add funds to through machines found in the touristic ancient city centre where we explored the Sultanhmet. With careful planning we would leave the house as soon as possible after giving all pets breakfast and the dogs a 30 or 40 minute walk mornings before jumping on a bus at the stop just up the road from the apartment, thus be in the ancient city area of the palace, the Bosporus and Golden Horn and the famous mosques all within and hour and three quarters at the most, including walking, a lovely way to get around and enjoy the awe-inspiring Blue Mosque and of course the famous Aghia Sofia. After a cinammon tea for me and a turkish coffee we'd soon be on our way back on the returning bus usually late afternoon in time to give dogs and cats supper and take the dogs for a longer walk. Just to mention Robert and myself lead quite a Mediterranean lifestyle anyway, so eat late in the evening which fitted perfectly! The only hitch on our last day was that the more intrepid cat, Mali of the faint tigerish stripes did not return with Manu from their leisure time in the sunny garden. We searched everywhere and got to know turkish neighbours even if sometimes through sign language due to our lack of turkish other than hello and good morning ...etc However although we seemingly had investigated all around the gardens Suki was able to calmly gave us some detection tips and eventually following Suki's advice I ended up calling to Mali and finding her in the underground basement garage where she had got locked in. So all's well that ends well! We couldn't have had a more exciting and fulfilling pet sitting experience. We so appreciated the opportunity care for such lovely dogs and cats and are now missing the whole charming and very kind and welcoming family!
Steve and Vanessa are the easiest folks to work with. I spent the first night with them and Vanessa made an award wining pasta dish. I thought I was at a high end Italian restaurant! And Congo was the best! Took a couple of days for him to warm up to me but we were best buds for the rest of the sit, he was such a joy to hang with and run around the house with. Great sit and I would definitely do this one again! Their town is charming, been there many times. Southern hospitality at its finest!

Absolutely amazing experience with paradise for pets! My dog boarded there over the 4th of July weekend and they took such good care of him. The staff made sure to have me come prior to the boarding date to temperament test him to ensure he can safely interact with other dogs. I didn’t expect such a thorough test as kennels I’ve experienced before did not spend hours to get to know your dog. This place is the phenomenal, they truly care about your pets and their wellbeing. Taking the time to ensure they can properly handle the dog in addition to observing behavior of the dog in group settings shows how above and beyond they are willing to go for potential new clients. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in their care, I cannot thank them enough!
This place was so amazing for housing my cat on the same day that I called. It was very difficult for me to find a cat boarding facility and luckily paradise 4 pets had space available and treated my cat very well while I was away. Their pricing is not bad at all and the staff are all so friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Food and water was provided as well frequently depending on what your cat is used to at home. And for new customers, you get a free night if stay is longer than 4 nights! Will definitely be using paradise 4 pets again in the near future.

I have borded my cat here a few times and it's an excellent facility, with a great staff. It has a separate building just for Cats, that is clean, quiet, and very safe. The walkway to the building is fully enclosed with a Multiple Double Gate System, so no chance of an accidental escape. So even if a Cat were to get scared and get loose, it could get no further than the next locked gate. Since it's completely enclosed with fencing, nothing can climb or jump out. You have to close one gate, before you get to the next one, and a few more gates after that. Completely Enclosed from the Ground and Overhead. Very Safe and Secure. The Cat kennel has Cat Trees, Cat Tunnels, and lots of toys, and windows so your cat can look outside from their Cat tree. Great Facility and Highly Recommended!

Paradise for Pets always show care for my Domino and I am very satisfied with the care they give. I just left my pet with them for 2 weeks, and my baby was happy, clean and excited. The staff are wonderful, I am satisfied.

I have only just started bringing my dog to Paradise For Pets but they have been so incredible. They are extremely affordable for an extremely reliable and quality service. They have remembered my dog each time I bring him, remembered all of his allergies and needs, made sure he's 100% comfortable, and always been friendly and responsive. The facility is stunning and kept up very well. My dog truly loves going there every time, he doesn't even look back while I'm leaving (and he's got decent separation anxiety). I cannot say enough good things about this place, your dog truly is in wonderful hands.
I would HIGHLY recommend Bella to anyone!!! There are no words to describe how wonderful Bella is! I found Bella almost 2 years ago when I first got my dog, Roxy, and ever since she could not be more reliable. She is so great with her and treats her as if she is her own (and her kids love Roxy too!). I know for a fact that she is well taken care of while I am traveling and that makes me feel 1000x better; I don't need to worry about the love she is receiving while I'm away! Bella is always flexible and willing to care for her. Have appreciated Bella and will continuously use her for years to come!
CANNOT RECOMMEND BELLA ENOUGH! We have had Bella take care of our dog for the past 2 years when we go out of town. After a bad experience with a doggy day care center that felt impersonal and cold, Bella was a breath of fresh air. When our dog is with her, he really is a part of the family and I am able to relax while away because I know he’s in great hands. Our dog enjoys playing with her children and even going to work with Bella at the pet hospital. She is able to provide pick up and drop offs, lots of pictures every day as well as some grooming services. Bella is also very flexible and easy to contact. Our dog always returns exhausted and well cared for. Anyone should feel comfortable with their pet in her care. We cannot recommend her enough!
Bella has cared for our two dogs and diabetic cat for over a year now, and she is truly fantastic! She is flexible, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our fur-babies are happy and healthy. She has accommodated all sorts of issues for us, including last minute schedule changes and medication administration. Our dogs are usually nervous around people, but they always have a great time with Bella. She is also great about keeping us informed and sends plenty of photos after each visit. I cannot recommend her services highly enough - without Bella, we wouldn’t be able to travel nearly as much as we have lately! I am so comfortable with Bella caring for our animals. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!
Bella is awesome! She’s been watching my dogs for over 3 years now and has always done an amazing job with them. She is very attentive, sends updates often, and offers pick-up and drop-off services. I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!
Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.

We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it
I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.
Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!
Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.
Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.
I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!
The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

Barking trails has been great!! I have a puppy which can be a challenge for some walkers but Tristan was able to help provide me with a walker for a somewhat difficult little guy. We have been using Barking Trails for our 1-year-old French Bulldog, Rex, since September 2016 for 5 walks a week. The Barking Trails staff has been amazing and so accommodating of all of my requests. They are extremely flexible when my schedule changes. Rex love his walker Anna and the owner Tristan. They take such good care of him even though he can be a handful. Their prices are the best in area and I have no complaints about the service. I highly recommend them!
Adam from Barking Trails has been walking my lab for about 4 months and I am so thankful for him! Super professional- when I tried out other dog walkers before him no one else had been prepared with contracts and clear explanations etc. He is always accommodating if my schedule changes and makes sure to update me if his ever changes as well. My husband and I had to find a new dog walking company due to our old dog walker moving in the Fall of 2019. We stumbled upon Barking Trails and are so happy we did. Tristan the owner of the company welcomed our dog Jax with open arms and came to our house personally to introduce us to a dog walker that he thought would be a good fit for us. Tristan and his team are very trustworthy, they come take Jax for 30 minute walks to help get his energy out and they are reasonably priced. They also offer overnight services. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a responsible, dedicated team that will care for and love your dog as much as you do!
Barking trails is the best. They provided care for my-year-old golden retriever all winter, and they were completely responsible, on time, and flexible.. I've had other dog walkers who were not nearly as easy to work with. Most importantly, the walker that worked with Mo quickly established a very good relationship with the puppy.
I reached out to Barking Trails to arrange a walker to help with our chihuahua senior dog who is both deaf and blind and needs special care. They were very professional, friendly and responsive. After the initial meet and greet I knew our dog was in the best hands. Our walker was extremely caring and treated our dog as if he were her own. She was able to do early mornings and accommodate our dogs difficult schedule. She even last minute was able to do nightly stay overs when we were out of the country. We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.
The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!
We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.
We absolutely love Ming’s place for daycare and boarding. Our golden doodle Ollie has been going here for daycare since he was 4 months old and it’s been a little over 2 years. Ollie is generally a little shy, but when we drop him off he zooms over and is so excited for a day of fun and play. They treat him like family and I’ve visited a couple of places for daycare, but this place doesn’t compare. They don’t crate Ollie and they allow him to roam around the house, just like he would in our own home. They have a huge yard and also Ollie always comes back clean, even if it rains (no muddy paws). In the Bethesda location they have a whole playground just for dogs! They give him so much love and attention. He loves everyone there and they also upload cute pictures of him during the day on the app. We have used his boarding service before as well and they took great care of Ollie. It is literally the only place we trust to board our dog, because we normally have family watch him. Ming’s team is also super reliable, responsive, and organized as well. Don’t look anywhere else - send your pup on a mini vacation at Ming’s place today!
My dog has the best time with when he gets boarded overnight!!! The ability to sleep in a bed and not be crated is so comforting for me as I know he’s treated like family. He is always so happy to leave my car to get into their car at drop off and his pictures that they send daily are proof that he loves it. He has some reactivity issues when home with me but they seem to be nonexistent when he goes to Ming’s Place and I’m not worried either as I know they train and rehabilitate rescue dogs all the time. They gave me some valuable training advice that I am forever thankful for as well. Also they call if there is any concern and the ability to text them is the best.
CARE/Ming’s Place does a superb job. They care for and love our dog, Luca, every minute. When we were taking him in for his Xmas stay, he got so anxious in the car we didn’t know what was happening. Then we pulled in the driveway and it became clear that he was excited to see his friends and his favorite home away from home. We picked him up after 6 daily reports and many pictures. He was excited to see us though also seemed like he wanted to stay longer. Eventually we were glad he was ready to go home and rest up from all the fun. There is nothing more important than knowing that my dog is safe and well cared for while I am away from home and Ming's Place has given me that peace of mind over and over again. I have used Ming's Place for boarding numerous times over the past several years and I could not be happier. The folks at Ming's (a group of extended family and friends) love dogs and make the effort to know each dog individually and take care of each dog's individual needs. There is an enormous yard where the dogs get a lot of outdoor time if they want it, the inside is clean and comfortable and most important, the dogs are well supervised and never left alone. The communication while my dog is at Ming's is superb and my dog always comes home healthy and clean. I know my Ringo loves being at Ming's because of the way he runs toward them with excitement every single time he sees them. I am so comfortable and happy with the care at Ming's that I have referred friends to them many times. I can honestly say that Ming's Place is worth every penny and I recommend them for boarding without hesitation.
We adopted two young beagles from Kentucky who are fun and feisty and live true to the names we have given them: Thelma and Louise! In our search for the best daycare/boarding environment, we came upon Ming's Place. The entire Care Family is worth its weight in gold! They are knowledgeable, loving, flexible and truly adore dogs. We get pictures every day and it's clear that Thelma and Louise love being in their home. We highly recommend Ming"s Place!
I swear my furbaby happily knows when she's about to be dropped off at Ming's for boarding! After a couple of okay boarding experiences, my girlfriend recommended to me that I try Ming's. The whole team is really sweet, and it's obvious they love dogs so much, and they care for the dogs as their own. They appear to be very organized with all the other dogs as well in terms of special diets and medications. My fur baby gets a lot of outdoor exercise and human attention, and she gets so much playtime! I love that I get updates everyday on how she's doing. When I'm on vacation, I'm relaxed knowing that my doggo gets one too!
Our golden doodle Lola has stayed at Ming’s place for the last four years. She is always well cared for and gets so excited as soon as we turn into the neighborhood! We know she is in good hands when we leave her which makes our travel less stressful! Thank you!
I have boarded Archie at Ming’s place for the last few years. The staff is super friendly and very responsive. They are very flexible with my schedule and always there to accommodate us! Archie loves to spend time there and is always super happy when I pick him up.
I have to say this is the best place my dog and cat have ever been. I concern a lot because my cat never gets along with many dogs before and my dog has kneecap issue. But Ming and his staff are very warmed and patient by following my feeding/activity instructions. They helped keep my cat inside all the time, and update me everyday. I believe my dog always has happy time with them. Recommend Ming’s place a lot!
We could not be more thankful for Ming and his team. Our dog had a history of aggressive behavior that we were never able to properly address until we found Ming's Place. Our dog's behavior has changed drastically (for the better) and it has truly changed our lives forever. Ming is a miracle worker when it comes to training and caring for dogs and the dedication the team gives to their rescue service is beyond admirable. We love Ming's Place so much and will be bringing our dog back any time we need him boarded, for training reinforcement, or honestly just because we love it :)
Prance Around Pet Services is the best! Whether they are visiting for daily walks or while you are on vacation, they are the best! My dog is blind, so it is always best for her to remain in my home instead of going into boarding. I can always count on Prance Around to show up and take good care of my girl. They write detailed notes about their visits and send the best photos of the time that they spend with my dog. It is very easy to schedule services on their website, and the owner responds quickly to texts and messages whether by phone or the chat feature on their website. Their prices are also very reasonable.
Everyone from Prance Around Pet Services has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Their sitters have been so good with my animals. It's not the easiest thing to find someone willing to pet-sit a snake, but Prance Around has sitters familiar with any type of pet you may have. I wish we hadn't moved out of their service area, I have yet to find another pet sitter of their caliber. My animals and I will truly miss the team!

They are fantastic. Take great care of my fur baby. My apt is difficult to access isolated floors. No problem for Prance Around staff. My cat Charley's personality is, how did vet put it? Fractious with people and change. I just call her my baby Bi?&h! When I travel they send me photos and reports of my baby girl and it eases my heart knowing she well cared for in my absence. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Love, love LOVE Prance Around! They love what they do, and go the extra mile (pun intended!). They took care of our sweet "shorkie-mix" Lulu for nearly 14 years before she passed away, and gave us great advice on our new doggie, a VERY active rat-terrier bread. The owner and founder even came to our home to meet our new dog "Birdie," and recommend a harness that would help us contain our very loving but escape-artist dog. We know our pets are in the best of hands with Prance Around.
Caring and professional so far. I was a little apprehensive leaving my two new-ish kittens alone for the first time, and having a stranger come into my house, but I found these guys on a Google search they treated me and the cats very well. Being a local business with accountable owners and dedicated employees makes it worth the premium (but reasonable) price. Definitely plan on having them as my go-to cat service. Tried recommending them to a coworker today but turns out he already uses them!
Prance Around hires the best petsitters ever. No matter who they send to my home, they quickly bond with my two furkids and the daily email reports aren't just informational, they provide details that assure me the sitter really "gets" my pets. In fact, my favorite pictures of my beasts was taken by one of the petsitters. I've used this company for years and if you live in one of their service areas, you should use them as well.
Hello, I went out of town for 4 days mid January and Prance around pet services provided exceptional care for my cat Diamond. Everyday I received an email with pictures and details about how my cat was doing. She was well taken care of while I traveled. I will definitely book with Prance around Pet services again. I give them 5/5 star review.

Vanessa and Paw Perfect Care is absolutely AMAZING!!! Anyone looking for dog day care, boarding or walking we would highly recommend Vanessa and Paw Perfect Care. We had a family member that was suddenly in the hospital and needed somewhere to board the puppy since we live out of state. Vanessa went above and beyond to support us during this difficult time and was amazing with our families puppy. Vanessa would provide updates and we even saw the puppy flourish during time with Vanessa. It truly meant the world for us to know the puppy was so well taken care of and in good hands so we could focus on our family member. Vanessa was able to squeeze our 2 pups in for a 12 day stay just 2 days before Thanksgiving (bad planning on my part). Our pups came back well fed, taken care of, and calm (they're usually feral and exhausted) when they come back from a boarding place. Highly recommend!
Our two-year old Rottweiler had a great experience at Paw Perfect, from the extra cuddle and play time to the nice, long walks in the park. We can't begin to thank the team at Paw Perfect for the care shown to our big boy. We'll be returning!
