It would be impossible to find better house- and pet-sitters than Carole and Ron Hutchinson. From the beginning of our interactions they were organized and responsible. I felt absolutely no worries about leaving our two cats under their care, and when we returned home the house was even tidier than we'd left it. When our travel plans were disrupted by illness, Carole and Ron were unbelievably generous and flexible. They are truly lovely people, and I hope we can persuade them to house-sit for us again in the future.

I had a lovely stay. Claire and her family have a clean and beautiful home. I visited Claire before my sit to get a run down of the house and exchange keys, she was welcoming, the instructions were clear and everything went extremely smoothly. The cats were a joy to look after, very affectionate and sweet. Close to the train station and local shops. A nice garden to enjoy the sun. This was a really easy and enjoyable sit, I’d happily come again.
Miles is the absolute best and such a cutie. Had a wonderful time…Ben’s place and neighborhood are perfect for exploring San Francisco. Loved taking Miles to the beach and Golden Gate Park and Ben made everything welcoming and easy. I highly recommend and would definitely sit again. Thanks!
We would highly recommend this sit. From the get go we were made to feel welcome and right at home here. Communication before and throughout our stay was brilliant, with maps and recommendations for Finn’s walks being shared with us, which was a great help Finn, the dog, was such a pleasure to look after. His road sense is impeccable and he was a delight to take for walks. He’s such a character and always has energy for a play, especially with his tennis balls. Dusty and Arthur, the cats, were also a delight to look after. Arthur enjoyed cuddles in the morning, while Dusty certainly lets you know when it’s feeding time. They were both very easy to look after. We thoroughly loved house sitting here and exploring such a beautiful place. The house is well located with incredible views over the lochs, causeway and standing stones, and Stromness and the ferry to and from the mainland is only a short drive away. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thank you so much for letting us stay.
Ollie is the sweetest pup! He's pretty independent and asks for attention when he's in the mood. Otherwise, he follows you around and hang out in his bed. Just gave great communication and gave clear instructions which are always appreciated. Her home is very quaint and in a good area. Highly recommend and would love to come to watch Ollie again!
