Sue was a very warm and generous host! I had so much fun watching and hanging out with Gryff, Panther, and Giorgio and they all have very unique personalities. It was even more amazing to learn each of their back stories from Sue! 🥹 The location was impeccable. It is at a very walkable and central part of LA. I’ve gone on many walks in the afternoon and have always felt very safe. Thanks for all the hospitality!
We had a wonderful house sit in Santa Barbara! Dave and Lydia welcomed us into their beautiful home, and spent an afternoon getting us acquainted with the pets, neighborhood, and their home. They left us plenty of room to unpack with an empty closet, plenty of drawer space, and room for groceries in the fridge and freezer. Leah is a young pup full of personality, and energy. She loves long walks (she is a good walker, and can go for miles), and she is excellent in the car which made it easy to explore dog friendly Santa Barbara, and the surrounding area. Leah also loves a good game of tug or keep away, and then is content to curl up next to you while you read a book or watch TV. Luna is kept in a separate part of the house, and she loves attention.....her motor is running full throttle when you are with her. She is an indoor/outdoor kitty, and very easy to take care of. Finn the fish requires a pinch of food in the morning. We loved our afternoons relaxing by the pool, and we would consider ourselves very lucky to return to Dave and Lydia’s home.
I had the best time with little miss V and the fish! First off Sam and Darren went above and beyond walking me through the house upon my arrival to show me around, making sure that I was comfortable with everything before they left. V was just the sweetest, off the bat we hit it off. She is such a cuddler her favorite spot was laying on my chest. I would recommend having a car so that you can get out to explore the neighboring towns. Thanks again for having me!
Words alone cannot describe how wonderful this sit was. Oreo is an English Springer Spaniel who will steal your heart. She is loveable and playful with the kindest eyes. Caring for her was easy, in fact, it was a joy. And since she was comfortable being on her own, there was plenty of freedom during the day to explore all that Washington DC has to offer. And DC was just a seven minute walk to a Metro station then an easy 25 minute ride away. Perfect! And Bethesda itself was well worth spending time in as well—cool shops and trendy restaurants. On top of it all, Prateek and Shriti are so gracious and supportive—they made everything so smooth. And their home is lovely beyond compare. If you have a chance to sit for them, by all means do it!
I had an amazing time sitting Isidoro and highly recommend this sit! First of all Betta is super easy to deal with. Easy communication and she made me feel welcome. The apartment is great, spacious, light, well equipped and near the forest. I loved it being so close to everything and the balcony was a big plus. Isidoro is a dream to look after! He loves having someone around, is very affectionate and well-behaved. Would definitely come back 😊
William’s house is definitely not going to be for everyone but we loved our stay here! Coming from a City, it was so lovely to stay in the country for a few days with some peace and quiet! It is a very old house so be prepared for creaky floors, low beams and cobwebs! It’s only a 10 minute drive into Tewkesbury, a stunning little town with lots of pubs and coffee shops. Bonnie and Rosa, Eda and Tiger were all an absolute pleasure to look after. They were all so incredibly loving, constantly wanting cuddles! Bonnie has a lot of energy, she could run through the fields for hours if you let her. Overall, they were super easy to look after and you’ll be sad to leave them after your stay!

We have boarded our dogs with Carla a few times and have been highly satisfied with the care and attention given to both of the dogs. Very clean facilities and always well taken of. We also had Carla train our about 100 lb., 10 month old great dane, Stormie. She was terrible on leash and was not well behaved. After Carla trained her, I can now take Stormie on walks and she is doing great on leash. She also taught her the word "no", which has made it so much easier to teach her to behave. Carla had her work cut out with Stormie and I am truly amazed at the difference in my Stormie. I would highly recommend Carla for any boarding and/or training needs you may have.
I took our 1.5 year old blue tick heeler and our 10 month old Australian Shepherd for a week of training C&C. Pricing is affordable, and the facility is clean and well ordered. Both dogs have their own unique issues, but more or less common to their breeds. Carla knew the breeds and was able to train both dogs with collars, more importantly, she was able to train me to be consistent, not let my dogs off the hook so easily. Throughout the training, she kept me updated with texts and pics and videos. When it was time to pick up the dogs, Carla and her husband spent a good deal of time observing how my husband and I practiced what she was teaching. We also got to observe my aggressive heeler dog behaving well with her own two dogs. Carla did a lot of follow up texting after we got home which I really appreciated. She wanted to reinforce all that she had taught my dogs and me. All in all, it was a great experience, Carla is an awesome trainer! I would highly recommend C&C for anyone who has training &/or boarding needs for their dogs. We will definitely be back for boarding!
We have a husky/shepard mix who stayed with Carla for 3 days. She was very accommodating to the fact that she doesn’t do great in kennels and said she switched her three times until she found one that worked well for her. She also socialized her with other dogs, but was mindful about her limitations. We’ll be back again! ☺️
Carla was exceptional in boarding our 2 yr old golden retriever . With training, Elli learned to walk without pulling on leash and even walks beside me without a leash! Carla keeps in touch and educates owners how to maintain the training behaviors. Highly recommend boarding your dog at her country setting with plenty of outside space !
My three coonhounds had a blast with all the outside time and great care provided during their 5-day stay. Was in frequent communication about their time! We will be coming back for all our boarding needs 🤩 …
I took my 1 year old Chocolate Lab to Carla for a one week training. Carla was terrific with Sienna! Sienna was crazy wild, jumped on everyone and was terrible on a leash. Carla worked hard with Sienna and would send daily texts and videos. Carla brought Sienna home and worked with us on how to further develop Sienna’s obedience. Sienna is a new dog! Incredible! Walking on leash like a good girl and even walking off leash with us! She is no loner jumping on us. We plan to continue to work with Sienna as Carla has shown us. This is the best money I have ever spent! I highly recommend Carla’s training services!!!
I was watching my friend's dog who was very skittish. She was not used to being around people. She barks at everyone and doesn't stop right away. I let them know know and they did a great job! They set it up in area where she would not be near the other dogs but would get attention from the staff. I had to go on a trip, and they accommodated having Olivia. They were patient with my check-in calls and let me know that she was fine. When I was picking her up, she was happily walking next to the husband portion of the team. They worked wonders with her while they boarded her. Thanks so much. Definitely would recommend them.
They were super accommodating when our pet sitter backed out last minute for our family vacation recently. Both of our dogs were well taken care of and Carla was very responsive when checking in on our pups throughout the week!
Carla was great!! I’ve never used a boarder or a trainer before but Carla made it easy. She updated me on our pup’s progress every day, answered all of my questions and taught us how to continue training. When they came home, they were like brand new dogs but WITH MANNERS! She took great care of our babies and I look forward to boarding them with her again!
We have used C&C Dog Boarding & Grooming for both boarding and training and recommend them for both services. We are thrilled with the results of Carla’s training. We came to her concerned that our 4 yr old dog’s aggression toward other dogs and horses could result in injury. We were also struggling to train him to come to us consistently when outside. Carla has trained our dog to return consistently and listen to commands. After training Carla proactively reached out to continue coaching us, ensuring we were confident in how to work with our dog to further improve in areas such as walking on a leash. Our dog is now happier than before and we are enjoying time outside without fear of injury to our dog or others. The boarding experience was also positive, our dog has stayed there multiple times and was happy and relaxed when we returned. During boarding Carla checks in with updates and is very responsive and flexible when scheduling drop off and pick up times.
