Our sit at Jennie's and Phil's house was a fabulous experience. Both Jennie and Phil are very friendly and kind people, out-going and extremely generous. Immediately there was a very open relationship among us. When we arrived Phil cooked a delicious meal for us. It was simply great fun to spend time with them and we enjoyed the talks, the food and the wine. They were very much concerned about our well-being during our stay at their house and did everything for that purpose, more than you would expect. Their house is quite something, we loved it from the first moment. There is lots of space and with all its modern and state-of-the art appliances and the beautiful interior design we felt very comfortable during the whole week. The new kitchen is a paradise for someone who loves to cook. The location is perfect if you want to to some sight-seeing in London (20 minutes by train) or visit other interesting sights in the area. There are many parks close-by, ideal for outdoor people like us to take long walks. Also very convenient that there are shops and restaurants within walking distance. And then there is Molly – what a wonderful and loveable dog! We had a very good and close relationship with her right away. We loved to take long walks with her and we loved to cuddle her. We found that she is well educated and that she behaves well. Yes, she is definitely a very „attentative assistant“ in the kitchen and she will be there when you are there. But we found that her „food thing“ was no big deal, very manageable. A little extra attention and nothing will happen. And her way to greet us in the morning, waiting on the landing and asking with her beautiful eyes for her first cuddles, just unforgettable for people like us who love pets! We found our sit and stay absolutely wonderful and might sit there again. Thanks again to Jennie and Phil for being such outstanding hosts! So from us definitely a 5-star recommendation.
Jayne & Simon were excellent hosts for a sit that was in a great location for local walks and kindly booked a few doggy day cares for a little more freedom to explore a lovely town. Fingal has endless energy chasing the evening shadows despite having his extended walks, a lovely gentle dog who managed to convey his needs for food, garden or walks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit at Innes Park . Bobby is a lovely old dog and a pleasure to walk and Rosie the cat is fun and very pretty. The location was lovely . Ralph and Pam were very helpful at all stages of the housesit and made us feel very welcome and at home .
Hazel is a very kind and generous person. She very kindly picked me up at the station and took me to the nearest supermarket so I could get some supplies for the long weekend. Pixie is a real cutie, she loves to sit on your lap, cuddle up on the sofa, sleep on the bed and snuggle up under the duvet in the morning. She does bark when excited or wanting to let you know it's time to go out or give her some treats! Pixie is very easy to walk, around the block and along the grass just up the road. Hazel again very kindly took me to the station at the end of the sit. Thank you Hazel and I look forward to seeing you and Pixie again in September.
We looked after aya and coco the labs in this gorgeous home for 2 weeks. We felt very proud walking 2 such well behaved and obedient dogs. We had a little boy with us (age 2) and they were as friendly as could be with him and the younger dog aya and him loved chasing one another! I truly enjoyed looking after Turbo and Cola. They were well behaved and very easy to care for and Carole and John were the absolutely the best homeowners to work with too! It was an ideal situation for me and I have no complaints. I would definitely work with them again!
