Emily and Steven were AMAZING GUESTS. They are absolutely invited back to my home if they wish to do so in the future. They followed all directions and were flexible with my situation. (I’m moving soon, boxes are everywhere). Very communicative, great care givers and respectful to my home. Thanks again Emily and Steven!

Lakisha is such a wonderful house sitter and animal companion! One could literally not find a better personality to care for animals. Lakisha is a detail oriented, focused but flexible career woman, who is somehow also an outdoorsy, hiking, nature-loving vegan, completely in harmony with animals. She’s able to work from home, so she spent tons of time with my cat. I don’t have dogs right now, but if I did, she would have been cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and hiking with them every day. She literally offered to bring her own cleaning supplies and detergent, to make sure that they are vegan and cruelty free. She organized my kitchen and took adorable pictures of my cat, and sent me a little videos of him. She is the perfect housesitter. I was really wowed by Lakisha’s care, and am so grateful for everything she did…taking care of François, my beloved three legged kitty cat, for an entire month, when I was on the other side of the world. When I first interviewed with Lakisha, she had really great questions. For instance, she prompted, “Tell me about your daily routine with François.” Then she truly listened as I described a day with my cat. Which, for all you cat people out there, is really not a very exciting day. But she took notes. She then asked, “Does he have any special needs or medications?” At the time, he wasn’t on any medication, but right before I left, he did get a prescription… And Lakisha was completely willing to embark upon the difficult task of managing medication in a cat that she had just met. She was really fearless when it came to his health and needs. I was traveling to the other side of the world, in South Sudan, where I didn’t know if I would have Internet access and was working in a stressful situation. Lakisha would send me pictures of François, or a little videos of him playing with his mouse. It was such a relief to know that he was safe and OK with somebody. I remember the day when she wrote to me that they had really connected… And I knew that he actually had a friend who saw his special spark. Then… (!!!) I had to extend my stay…over Christmas, and she stayed extra just to take care of him, through the holidays. Absolutely amazing. When I came home, the house was perfectly clean, with a little gift on the counter. Lakisha had remembered that I made a joke about taking care of my basil plant (It was clearly an already dead plant)….so she bought me a brand new one and also a really pretty nice smelling candle. I am so lucky to have had her with my beloved cat, when I was so very far away, never having left him for so long. It is amazing how somebody can be a stranger one moment, and then they are a beloved cat-auntie the next… Somebody to really trust with your pet and your home. Thank you so much, Lakisha!

This was Shanta's second sitting for Tilly at my home. It was a pleasure to have her care for Tilly who seemed to remember her. Shanta is a warm and reliable sitter and I have come to know her over the past year I would now consider her a friend. Shanta is an experienced house/pet sitter and is both knowledgeable as well as respectful of how she cared for Tilly but also my home.. I have no hesitation in recommending her and hopefully she will sit for us again.

Tylda was absolutely amazing. She took care of our pets, garden, and house for seven weeks. (We have one large dog, three cats, two parrots, and 19 chickens.) All the animals were pampered while we were gone and probably are wondering why Tylda can't be here full time! The house was spotless when we returned. All our houseplants had doubled in size. She sent us updates and pictures on a daily basis which we really appreciated. We live in wildfire country and there was a scare when a wildfire broke out less than a mile from our house. She had all the animals and valuables corralled and ready to go and contacted local friends to arrange to take them in case of evacuation. Fortunately the fire was put out, but we are very grateful for her efficiency and thoroughness. Would not hesitate to recommend and would give 6 stars if possible! She really is a treasure!

Marcy was a friendly, responsible and caring cat-sitter. She kept in touch with me before, during and after the sit. When I got back the house was spotless and the kitties were relaxed and content. I'd be happy to have Marcy come back!

We were so so lucky to have Majda sit for us. She went above and beyond to care for our house, plants and our kitty. She came over ahead of time (twice!) to meet us and to get my detailed instructions about everything. She felt like a friend. I felt completely at ease while we were overseas knowing Majda was at our house. She sent sweet photos of the kitty a few times which was very thoughtful. She even picked us up at the airport on our return! Our house was spotless when we got home. She is a gem! We will for sure ask her to sit again!

Toni and Buddy were amazing, don’t hesitate to have them over to watch your house and pets. Toni sent pictures of the dogs while we were away and provided updates. She even stayed later on the last day so the dogs would not be home alone too long. The house was cleaner when we got home than we left it. We would have them back any time.

Caitlynn, responded to my last minute post. Her communication was timely and clear and she even was able to come by before the house/pet sit began. She communicated and responded readily throughout the sit and when i got back the house was clean and my cats seemed content. I was very happy with Caitlynn's sit and would have her again.

This was the second time Patrick house/pet sat for us. As in the previous sit, Patrick was great. When we arrived home, the house was clean, the cat was happy and my many outdoor flower pots had been watered. I did worry at all knowing everything was being cared for. Highly recommend.

Pennie was great! She came through for a last minute request, did not blink an eye at the extra care needed for one of my kitties who's sick, and I think she may have left the house even cleaner than when I arrived!? She was responsive and provided updates when I asked. The boys were happy and well taken care of! Would definitely have her again :)

Kathy was very eager to take care of my cat Dobby. She contacted me to see if I needed pet care this summer. She was flexible, and didn't mind that I needed a few things fixed at the house and was accommodating with the scheduled worker. She even offered to mow my lawn! Most importantly, Dobby was clearly happy when I returned home. Thank you Kathy!

If I could give Debbie, Louie, and Novelle 10 stars I would. They were very prompt in their responses and kept me informed on the house and our animals. Our house was left in spectacular condition and the gang was happy. Novelle even baked a delicious poppy seed cake for us which was such a thoughtful gesture. We would definitely love to have them house/pet sit again for us in the future. We are so grateful, thank you!!
