Denise is very easy to communicate with, very responsive to messages & very friendly. I visited her a few weeks before my sit to see what I had to do & we had supper together. I also went the night before so she could show me how to walk Shanti on the road & the morning routine for the horses. All of which she wrote down with clear instructions & is manageable. The animals are gorgeous. Each with their own character. The horses tried it on a little with me being new but I soon got the hang of it. The house is stunning & what a location! All you can hear is birds no traffic & on a clear day the mountains, what a view! The sunsets from the top front bedroom are spectacular too! Denise very kindly said I could have guests & I had some friends over one day to enjoy the sunshine in her ample garden. I enjoyed this sit & would recommend it.
We absolutely loved housesitting at Kyah and Ritvik’s home as well as taking care of Thor for 5 days over Christmas. We’re extremely grateful for Kyah and Ritvik’s hospitality. They made us feel very comfortable in their home and clearly explained Thors needs. Thor is a wonderful, confident and smoochy cat who was easy to take care of and enjoyed cuddling up on the couch. Their home is in a wonderful part of London and we loved experiencing life as a Waterloo local for a week. The apartment was well set up and made it extremely easy to take care of Thor and relax . If you get the chance we highly recommend housesitting with Thor. Thanks to Kyah and Ritvik for an enjoyable and stress free stay!
Wonderful Sit in Wandsworth. Lucie and her home are very welcoming and comfortable. Great location. Inca is a very sweet and gentle dog. She does require some handling on her walks when interacting with other dogs, but if you are calm, and paying attention it's not a problem, and she more than makes up for it with her gentle nature at home. I would definitely Sit again, and highly recommend Inca and Lucie's home.
We absolutely adored our time over Christmas and New Year with Lafayette and Leon. They are perhaps the gentlest cats I’ve ever met and they soon revealed their individual personalities to us. They really did steal our hearts and we both miss them lots after a week or so back from our trip. Liz and Hollys apartment is unbelievably comfortable and well equipped. It’s situated in the beautiful beach area of Herttoniemiranta and two minutes out of the door brings you to the most perfect beach/avanto spot. It’s only about 25 mins by metro to Helsinki centre and there’s a really useful night bus from central rail station which drops you outside the door. Liz and Holly were the perfect hosts and everything was well thought out in terms of the sit info and cat resources. We enjoyed our stay so much and wouldn’t hesitate to offer to look after Leon and Lafayette again and would love to see the beach area in summertime. Thanks Liz!
