Jean and Mitch are very friendly and kind hosts. They prepared an excellent fondue for us to share on the first night and it was fun watching the rugby with Mitch. They also left me LOTS of food in the fridge plus tea and coffee in the wonderful coffee machine. The TV has a million channels from all around the world, handy for sports. I used the ebike a lot and there was a paddle board available too. The area is really nice with lovely lake views and close to Lucerne and Pilatus. But the star of the show is Kaya. Such a loving, cuddly, hilarious lion of a dog. Always bringing toys to play with or climbing up for a cuddle. Just keep her away from the cats😊 Thanks guys.
Hello, Steven, Chrissy and Mabelle were very warm and welcoming on our arrival. They left us very clear instructions which enabled us to enjoy the experience with Frankie and Henry. We loved the location within walking distance to Mt Martha village. Getting up in the mornings was breathtaking, looking out at the bay. We loved Frankie and Henry’s delightful enthusiasm. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks with them, and it was fun having them inside in the evening after dinner with us. They were very well behaved and sat on their beds during the evening. We were so impressed with Frankie’s ability to jump up on the outdoor table for us to put her harness on before her walk. We would love the opportunity of another house sit looking after Frankie and Henry and would hghly recommend this house sit to others.
Oh my goodness what a great experience! Charlie really is the adorable pal everyone says. I loved curling up with him by the fire. Sharon welcomed me so graciously, gave me all the information I needed and made sure I would have everything I might possibly need. Her house is really comfortable to stay in and my kids loved collecting milk from a nearby farm, meeting friendly goats on the way. I enjoyed hunting for mushrooms in the woods at the top of the hill and the flooded meadows were something new to all of us - very Salisbury. I would definitely recommend staying here to be with Charlie and I do miss him.
What a lovely time we had in Busserolles, Margot and Gordon had a lovely meal prepared at our arrival and as we came a day early for our three week stay we had time to also get to know each other some and meet some of their local friends. The home is lovely and comfortable and right in this small village of Perigord. We also enjoyed the local restaurant and baker. Sooty the black lab is adorable, loves to play with anything that is thrown his way from sticks, to balls and everything he can find to bring you so you throw it again. He is the best ball catcher we have ever met. Millie the cat took a few days to warm up to us but soon enjoyed being with the three of us in the living room. If you want a quiet place to relax, enjoy beautiful walks with Sooty then this home is the place for you.

Both pups have wonderful personalities, engage in funny antics, and are easy to care for. Their home setup and schedule made it a pleasure to sit for them. Linda and Kevin are superb hosts. They warmly welcomed us, treated us to a tasty BBQ dinner, and had everything set up for our and the pup's success for this THS sit.
