Andy and I had the absolute pleasure of housesitting in Lugano for three weeks. It was a delightful experience, made even better by Calvin and Nahla, the sweetest and most well-behaved cats imaginable! They both enjoyed cuddles and being close, which made working from home and evenings a joy. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Eric and Laura provided incredibly thorough instructions on everything we needed to know for the cats and plants, making our stay completely stress-free. Lugano is a wonderful city, especially in the summer. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery, vibrant culture, and delicious food. We would gladly look after Calvin and Nahla again in the future!
Cristin and Alireza were very hospitable, they are a lovely couple with a lovely home and amazing pets. Harper is a delight and will follow you everywhere, Juni will sleep with you and is very cuddly and Calvin is a sweetheart once he feels comfortable. Would definitely recommend this sit!
Sitting at Olga’s house was a pleasure. They picked me up and prepared a small meal for me. Ruzhik is a very low maintenance dog, is not super active and is well behaved. Ruzhik likes to take walks, and can walk for a while if you like, but likes taking things slow. The house is comfortable, in a very safe neighborhood and is beautiful to walk around in. I would highly recommend this sit.
Richard and Cindi were very welcoming to me into their beautiful home. They walked me through everything they needed during the house sit. The dogs were super sweet and easy to care for. The neighborhood has lots of trails to walk too! I would highly recommend this house sit and would love to come back in the future!
It’s hard to decide where to start with this stay. Archie is without a doubt one of the sweetest dogs; he is so smart and an absolute joy to care for! He is very calm and enjoys resting in his chair during the day, but at the same time has a fun, playful demeanor. He listens so well, even at his favorite off leash park close to home. Truth be told, I miss him already. It’s easy to see how Archie gets his sweet and calm personality from Liz and Jim. They are so kind and easy to communicate with, they even left me a little care package. Everything you need to know is outlined and prepared for your stay. Their home is beautiful and is so comfortable and cozy, I rested well (with cuddles from Archie) and their kitchen was an absolute dream to cook in. If you are lucky enough to care for Archie, you’ll see what I mean instantly and am certain you’ll enjoy your stay!
I had a short but very enjoyable weekend in Greenwich Village with cuties Ollie & Juliette. They're both very sweet but definitely have their own personalities and a funny sibling-like dynamic. Ollie is one of the best cuddlers of all the dogs I've looked after! I found Kate very friendly and easy to communicate with. Between the listing and our chats prior I felt I knew exactly what to expect and she was quick to respond to questions during. Kate's apartment is absolutely stunning and in an incredible location. It was very clean and easy to keep clean. The couch and bed are both dangerously comfortable and the kitchen is a joy to cook in. As someone who used to live in NYC I felt spoiled with all the space it offers! The dogs definitely take advantage of it during play time. I would 100% recommend to other sitters, however I selfishly hope I get to look after Ollie and Juliette again myself :)
