Dog Sitters in Canberra

I loved having Raeline & Terry pet sit for us. Both were friendly and great to communicate with. We received updates and photos of our pets weekly. If their were any concerns they would contact me immediately. It was a pleasure to come home to a clean tidy home and contented pets. We would recommend Raeline & Terry to anyone looking for a house/pet sitter. Thank you so much to both of you!!

Tom and Kaylene were fab! They took great care of our boys and we came home to very happy pets. They also dealt with a fusebox emergency admirably preventing a defrosting freezer! We would be very happy to have them over again. Thanks

Ira house and pet sat for our two Hungarian Vizslas over the Christmas period for almost a week, and I don’t think our dogs wanted her to leave! She was amazingly kind and loving toward them and sent daily updates and photos of their adventures and how they were doing. She managed to walk them both on her own and control them well, even during a chance meeting with some kangaroos that could have potentially resulted in a chase! Ira was very self sufficient and reliable and came to meet with us prior to the sit to ensure that everyone was comfortable. She was instantly kind and affectionate toward our dogs, so I knew they would be well cared for. We arrived home to a spotlessly clean home with very happy dogs. I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommended Ira for any future house and pet sit responsibilities. She was amazing.

Overall we are happy with the care Sara provided for our animals while away. It is worth noting that there was one known incident where she left our animals unattended for an extended period of time without contacting one of our many provided emergency contacts. This made us very concerned but we appreciated her honesty about it and the animals were okay. We were really grateful to come home to a clean, made bed and home cooked meal!

I couldn’t fault Vick and James . They did a super job of both houseminding and looking after our doggies . I have no hesitation in recommending them highly for their stay with us !

Alisa and Peter looked after our dog Luna and cat Squeak. They did a fantastic job and both our pets seemed very happy and well cared for on our return. They kept us posted with photos and videos daily and their communication was excellent. They come across as very trustworthy and they proved that by offering to pay for fuel used even though it wasn’t required. They even replaced a broken pot and it wasn’t even their fault that it broke. They are also clearly animal lovers. Would recommend them 1000% and would love to have them back in the future.

Bill and Rhona did a great job looking after the horses and cat. Their every need was attended to. Bill helped us fix the downpipe into the water storage before we left and is generally very handy. They kept us updated regularly. We did not worry at all about the animals while they were under the care of Bill and Rhona. They are a well travelled and interesting couple.

Amanda took wonderful care of our flat and our cat while we were away for nearly a month. She was super responsive and reliable , and the place was spotless when we returned. The cat clearly enjoyed her company as well! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone else looking for a housesitter.

Belle was terrific! Animals took to her straight away! House was left in good order. Will be very happy to have her back again. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure having John and Chris stay and look after Archie, Ace and my home. I would definitely recommend them and hope that we meet again someday soon.

Sue & Alistair were a delightful couple. We hit it off with them straight away. They also clicked with Darwin, Dijon & Nussy , which was the main thing for us. They took them for a walk with us as we explained the routine. They kept us up to date with texts and photos while we were away , which we didn't ask for, but were much appreciated. On our return we had a lovely clean house and happy little boys. What more could we ask. We would highly recommend Sue & Alistair as sitters to anyone. We hope to see them again.
