We had a wonderful few weeks with Micah! Cindy and Steve were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. They left clear instructions on how to care for their home and Micah and had great communication throughout our stay. The home was clean and comfortable and their backyard is a beautiful oasis. Micah is a very sweet dog who took some time to warm up but once he did, he showed his silly, playful personality. He enjoys being active and we enjoyed taking him on walks/hikes on the local trails. He also loves to play with his brother who lives across the street. The neighbor was very kind and helpful and we were able to arrange several playdates for the pups. It was fun watching them burn off some puppy energy! Micah also got along very well with our dog. Overall, we had a great time with Micah and have already agreed to another sit next month! We can’t wait to see Micah again.
I can't recommend this house sit enough! Eddie is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of spending time with! Gabi has a beautiful home with a fenced-in backyard and pool. Eddie LOVES to go swimming. It brought me so much joy watching him have fun in the pool. He's a really good listener and comes out of the pool when you ask him to. He would let me rinse him off with the hose and he's used to being towel dried before going into the house. I work from home full-time and Eddie would often keep me company, resting at my feet during the day. He's really well-behaved and easy to be around. Gabi is very kind and easy to talk to! I kept her updated with photos and videos of Eddie while she traveled which she really appreciated. I would absolutely sit for her again!
We were one month in Irene’s house and we felt at home. Irene was very kind with us, the first day she picked us up from the Alhama bus stop and showed us the village, the principals stores and different roads to touring by walk. She also shared with us a house guide to know about the house working. She always spoke to us in Spanish, that was very comfortable for us. Taking care Trini and Nico was very funny, a lovely entertainment. Nico is a very sweet dog, he loves to play, run and eat 😊 (You must pay attention not to leave food or clothing within his reach 😅). He enjoys lying on the sofa in the afternoon with the heat of the stove and stay between your legs while you are cooking 😍. Trini, on the other hand, prefers go out to walk and eat almonds that she finds along the way. You must give her medicine but it is a simple task 🙌. They are very affectionate and they like to be where you are, we really miss them. The village is to 1:30 hours from Granada by bus, there are different trekking roads and many markets and supermarkets so you can take all you need. Alhama de Granada is a very nice place. For these reasons we recommend highly Irene’s house and her lovely pets, Trini and Nico (that we love them 😊)
I had a lovely time with Mooney. She is the cutest little cat, curious and independent. I didn't meet Isabel in person but everything was seamless from the moment we spoke on the phone till I left her place after the sit ended. I'd recommend to sit for Mooney if you get the opportunity. Thank you Isabel, hope our paths cross again in the future!
