Jenny
Delightful family, delightful home, in a wonderful part of the country. Alice, the dog, is a joy to look after - loving and extremely well-behaved and easy going. Little Cashew, the cat, has a big character and is fun and companionable once she gets to know you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Jenny, for making us so welcome and providing for us so well.

Molly
Molly and Dave were wonderful to sit for; communicative, welcoming and generous with their space. Their home is beautiful and you get a sense of calm in the city— a perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle with multiple bus stops only a couple minutes walk away. Wiley is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle and play (and watch for the mailman). He’s easy to care for and the quiet neighborhood and surrounding trails are lovely for walks, lots of other friendly dogs and owners out and about too. Couldn’t have gotten a better pet sitting situation in DC!

Claire and John
Housesitting for Claire, John and Beatrix was the best possible introduction to this platform.

They made me feel so at-home, gave me a comprehensive welcome to the house and introduction to the fur babies. I had the pleasure of spending time with them either side of the dates, and only wish it longer because they are so kind, thoughtful and friendly.

Claire and John were always only a phone call or text away, so I felt incredibly safe and supported throughout the week.

Esty is a perfect, handsome, softie of a dog. He has a beautiful temperament, and was a lovely dog to cuddle and jog with.
Cleo is a beautiful old girl, she is so smoochy and whilst nestled upstairs, she loves human company and belly rubs.
Aggie is a fiercely independent cat, she was out and about a lot of the day hunting, but is a lovely best friend to Esty and cuddly girl when she's inside.

The house is a French countryside dream- an idyllic location, sunflower fields surrounding it, with big barns on the property, so much character, and is a real home. It has everything you may possibly need to be super comfortable during your stay.

It was an absolute joy to housesit for this amazing, friendly and loving family!
I absolutely, whole heartedly reccomend sitting here and look forward to seeing them again.

Rosalie
Fabulous house, fabulous people, fabulous cats! This is one of my absolute favourite housesits. Rosalie & Alan are really lovely friendly people and made me very welcome. We stayed in touch via Facebook and by the end of the 4 months I felt just like one of the family. The two siamese boys are absolutely adorable. Beautiful Bobo is quiet and shy until he gets to know you. Special little Teddy is friendly and affectionate, following me around everywhere and loves snuggling up close. I’d definitely recommend this sit if you get the chance.

Ruth
We had a very warm welcome from Ruth, who's friendly, helpful and easy going, and provided excellent organisation and attention to detail with the welcome guide and handover.

Ziggy is definitely a little shy to start with, it seems he has a strong bond with Ruth, so kept some distance to start with, but once he realised we were here for the duration, he started to come out of his shell and became slowly curious to start getting to know us. I'd recommend going gently with Ziggy and taking your time with that process. Soon he became friendly enough to sit next to us with his paws on our laps whilst watching TV and he liked having strokes and love. He's definitely an active cat and likes play time, games and attention with his variety of toys. He's also a proper little boy character and made us laugh at times! He'd drift in and out of the house at his leisure and we'd often spot him out on the roof ledge watching the world go by.

The house is spacious, light, has decent wifi, with good access to bus, trains and shops nearby. All in all this was a nice easy sit and we're very happy to recommend Ruth and Ziggy in West Norwood! (PS: just make sure you close the kitchen door whilst cooking - sensitive smoke alarms! ;) !!)

Robin
We had a great experience meeting Robin, her husband Charlie and their lovely pets!
The house is beautiful, functional and easily accessible by public transport.
The two dogs Maisy and Ollie are very nice but you have to know that they need a lot of attention (however they can stay alone a few hours while you’re exploring the city). The cat Lilly is also lovable and likes cuddles on your knees.
We recommend Robin and Charlie who are very friendly and offer the best coffee of USA!
