Joel was great! He took excellent care of Moose and my house house while I was gone. He kept in touch as well and sent me pictures with updates so I never had to worry! I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing their fur baby looked after, and I would be happy to have him back anytime!
Liz and Rob are star sitters, our cats are well pampered by them and get loads of cuddles and love. They are also great cooks and their leftovers are delicious! I will definitely be asking them to sit again. They are my first port of call for future sits.
I loved this sit. The pets and the house were great. Expectations were clear and the host was warm and friendly. Great house and great pool with lots of parks nearby.
Diego is a sweet boy and very easy to care for. He was happy to lounge on the couch and watch the world through the window while I worked, and when it was time to walk, he was very excited to go and was easy on leash. Ramsay was easy to communicate with. The home has a great back yard, comfortable bed, and is in a great location along the Cherry Creek Trail.
We had a lovely time in Cambridge with Archie. Peter and Marian are lovely and generous people - they picked us up and dropped us at the train station. Cambridge itself is beautiful - Peter and marjans house is cosy, great location with a big backyard, we really enjoyed ourselves here. Don’t get us started on Archie, he’s gorgeous and a puppy at heart. He’s low maintenance and well trained, we adored playing hide and seek with him and learning his personality. Would absolutely do a house sit here again.
We had such a lovely stay at Sara & David's thatched cottage caring for their cats. "Tom" cat was indeed affectionate & shared a bed with one of us. "Tabby" was barely seen, quickly escaping after coming in to eat. Our host couple treated us to dinner to welcome us our first night. We enjoyed Sara's lovely gardens at the end of summer, and even got to "deadhead" flowers. We tried out one of David's walks around the village from his newly published book. We feel so blessed & fortunate to have been chosen to house sit while this warm hearted couple were away.
Wonderful sit in Tarbet for Maureen and Mila. Mila is a lovely dog, getting on in her years. She's very affectionate and likes little walks and lots of cuddles. Tarbet is on the Kintyre peninsula and is absolutely stunning. The village is beautiful with its harbour and hills just off Loch Fyne. Thank you Maureen for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful spot. I would love to return sometime. There are some great cafe's and pubs in the village, a chippy, a well-stocked coop and everything else you would need. Maureen's place has a wonderful view of the inlet, over islands to the hills beyond. The house is just yards from the ferry to Portvadie. Its very comfortable and spacious. An amazing place. Unforgettable.
Brooks and Denver were the sweetest furry duo you could ever ask for. Brooks liked a few walks each day to do his business and to sniff everything out. He brought me toys from his basket so that I could play tug and fetch with him, and he liked to sit in my lap while I was working on my computer. He loved being held and would snuggle up under my neck whenever I picked him up. Denver is such a handsome kitty and he loved to sit in the windowsills and watch everything going on outside. He loved belly rubs and would hop up to visit with me when he wanted some attention. Watching the boys play together was such a hoot! Petra’s home is clean, comfortable and is located in a very desirable beach-side location. Her building has that cool “old florida” vibe. There is a pool located in the courtyard and her neighbours were super friendly. There are regal hotels and condominiums located all around the neighbourhood, as well as numerous restaurants and shops nearby. I was very comfortable at Petra’s and enjoyed being on “island time”. So comfortable, in fact, that I actually miscalculated my departure date and then had to scramble to leave Petra’s beautiful paradise. My apologies again for the confusion at the end Petra!
