It was an absolute delight to sit for Krista and her wonderfully behaved dogs. The home is filled with tropical essence , clean and very comfortable and the walking tracks near the beach are so useful. The location is quiet yet very near to shops, the beach and transport.

Lina
Lina is a great communicator and it was really easy to get in touch with any questions! She and Richard very kindly picked us up from the airport because our flight got in late, and gave us a tour while we discussed responsibilities.

Hunter and Millie are both SUPER cute! Hunter is the highest energy dog we’ve ever met - incredibly fast and strong and so fun to play with. Hunter also craves attention in the house and needs a strong “no!” when he wants to leave his mat (his version of a safe place). Millie is a typical cat. Aloof at first, but we won him over with daily brushing! Other responsibilities include watering the plants, which took about a half hour each day.

Wyndham Vale is a nice area to walk around, and there are great parks for playing fetch with Hunter! It is about 1 hour, 15 mins into Melbourne by public transportation and 45 minutes by car.

Overall, this was a great housesiit. The only thing I might suggest is changing the mattress if possible? (I’m guessing that might be expensive!) It was quite firm to sleep on. But all other aspects were good - clear communication, great pets, and we got to spend some time sightseeing in Melbourne!

Emma
Emma and Rob were easy and relaxed pet parents. I arrived the day to their beautiful family home before they left for their holiday and was shown all the bits and bobs to care for their beloved pets. They allowed me to stay a night early as they were planning to leave very early in the morning.

Rhubarb, the sweetest golden retriever, was both stubborn and affectionate at the same time. She spent most of her days chilling at the foot of the stairs on the cool tiles. She scoffs her food down like any normal dog and loves a belly rub. She is enriched by a game of tug-of-war and be warned, she is strong. When out on walks, she will set the pace which is generally a dwardle. If she wants to go somewhere or sniff something she will lead you there, and when she finds a body of water big enough for her body, she will never leave.

Truffle, the speedy springer spaniel, will never leave your side. I worked from the house during the housesit and Truffle would just chill in her bed at the foot of the desk. When I left the office room, she would be right on my heels. On walks, she will constantly try to boost away while on lead, only to attempt again 3 seconds later. When she is off the lead, Truffle will circumnavigate the local lake, chasing all kinds of birds. However, her recall is amazing, even in the crazy situations. Her favourite enrichment was a ball toss which she had outstanding mouth-eye coordination.

Mathilda was a simple cat. She spent all her day outside and never too far from the house. She would return instantly to the house at the sound of her name, ready to enjoy her meal peacefully within the confined wash house.. that is until Rhubarb ramraids the door. Mathilda loves a cuddle, belly rub, and to battle teddy bears while lying on her back.

Overall, the furry family were easy to care for and provide a lot great company during the work day. I would 100% recommend Rob and Emma. Thank you for the opportunity!

Pet sitting Kefir was an absolute pleasure. She is just as described-very loving and people- friendly kitty. I miss her! I mostly was in contact with Rebecca who was so sweet. They have a lovely sanctuary perfectly located right outside of Boston.

TERRA
Here is your revised text with changes highlighted in bold:

This was an incredible sit; super relaxing with a sweet pug that relaxed with me. I work remotely and was able to work from various places in the house and backyard. My favorite place to work was on the couch because Tallulah could be there with me. While I was in a very long meeting, Tallulah sat on my lap and was very quiet. When she was not on my lap, she slept next to me or in her bed. At night, we watched TV together until bedtime when I put her in her crate. She was very excited to see me in the morning! She does have a lot of energy, but that is part of the breed when they are young. I loved that she was my little pal throughout the whole sit.

Terra's home is a very good place to get some R&R. Her house is by one of my favorite beaches, which also is close to one of my favorite restaurants and coffee shops. I looked forward to spending the day there, but Terra's house is so comfortable that I did not need to spend time at the beach. The accommodations are excellent, and I felt Terra took good care of me, from the comfy bed and pillows to the welcome guide and ensuring I had towels and the proper TV remotes, which really did set me up for not leaving the house (LOL).

Terra and I communicated almost every day during the sit because there were a couple of questions I forgot to ask. She answered promptly. Communication before the sit was excellent. She made sure I had all the information I needed; she really did set me up for success, and I really appreciate that.

I would recommend this sit, 10/10, especially if you like doggies that will be your companion during the sit. She is also very independent, so she can stay home alone, but who would really want to leave her? Tallulah is the perfect companion, and I hope to come back and sit with her again.
