Simone is a wonderful person & hostess. Everything was ín place for me when i got there. Wé had video called before sọ i already felt comfortable. The 2 dogs tho large, are friendly & loving. They will bring you their toys & bones. They truly love company. And Simone has a hands free [waist] leash for when you gó tó the park! Simone even trusted me with her truck tó take the dogs down to the Ontatio park and arranged entrance too. The land has an invisible fence. So when the dogs are running outside you know they aré close by! Big comfy bed to sleep ín. Great kitchen to cook ín. Never saw the neighbours. Its quiet & peaceful. Let Simone know if you need anything. But all you need including coffee is provided. I loved the stay. Would be happy to go back!
We recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Ben and Elle in Aarhus over Christmas. They are exceptionally kind-hearted and easy-going, and went above and beyond to welome us to Aarhus and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Kirby is so playful and friendly, and was an absolute joy to explore the city with on long walks. Louie, though initially shy, gradually warmed up to us and enjoyed a cuddle and a play and Popcorn was very easy to look after. The house is perfectly situated in town but still nice and quiet and the city itself is charming, with plenty to explore within walking distance. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend sitting for Ben and Elle and making a trip to Aarhus.
I had a full month at Mary's place with her super cute and talkative old grandma cat, Olive and I loved every moment. The home is comfortable, open and clean. Super comfy bed. Nothing but positive things to say about it. Her back yard is beautiful and pretty much takes care of itself. I did a little weeding each week which was therapeutic. Plenty of bird song from back there. Olive is 18yo and I had to pet her very gently. She wasn't open to that at the beginning but by the end she was asking to be pet all the time :-) Mary was the perfect host, she picked me up at the bus station and fed me that first night. She had all the house's info sent to me weeks in advance. Again, nothing but the best things to say about the entire experience. Also, this was my first time in Olympia and it is gorgeous there! So many beautiful places to walk around from any direction of her home. Definitely recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay in Cheriton looking after Sophie, who is an easy going, friendly and happy dog. She settled very quickly with us and our own little dog and we all got into a good routine together. Diana and Chris's very comfortable home is in a lovely spot, with rolling hills , great walks close by and the most beautiful starry nights. A really wonderful part of the country. Interesting local pubs, friendly and helpful neighbours and lots to see and explore. Sophie was very sweet, she took us on her local walks and around the village where she enjoyed a paddle in the local stream...She is very well behaved, was so easy to look after, loved playing tug with her toy and a little cuddle in the evenings. Would highly recommend this sit and hope we will see Sophie again sometime.
Reola’s home was in a beautiful area of New Mexico! Only about a 45 minute drive to ABQ and 1 hour drive to Santa Fe. Penelope was a sweetheart and easy to take care of. Overall it was a beautiful home and lovely to stay here. The only feedback I would leave is it would have been helpful to have written instructions prior to the visit! We called the day before the sit to go through care instructions, but I had to follow up a few times for small things like wifi and it felt like I was bothering them a bit on their holiday. Other than this I would 10/10 recommend sitting for this lovely couple!
What a joy to sit for Zoe and Lexie through Tim and Suzanne!! Tim and Suzanne are some of the most amazing owners we have sat for!! Their neighborhood is amazing to walk in! It is surrounded by water and huge trees; just beautiful! We definitely bonded through our experience with hurricane Ian that was initially coming directly at thier home!! They we absolutey amazing giving us suggestions on how we could prepare in the event of any emergencies. We talked daily and often in the days leading up to the hurricane. Fortunately Ian turned and went south of Palm Harbor, but in the interim we had plenty of water, batteries, candles, food for the pets, medicine for Zoe in case she was freaked out by the storms because she doesn't like them anyway, but we monitored the situation closely and didn't have to give Zoe any meds to get her through it which Zoe and Lexie are easy going and just want to be around you as much as possible. They love to sleep right next to you and snuggle. Zoe LOVES going for walks, trying to chase squirrels and lizards who appear on the path. It was all we could to keep from kidnapping Zoe and Lexie! Such great family members!! We are looking forward to coming again and seeing Zoe and Lexie!
