I met with Philip a day before the sit and we introduced ourselves, he showed me around the house and explained everything very clearly. He also really took care to make sure that I was going to be as comfortable as possible. During the sit he made himself available for any questions I had and communication with him was always clear. The house is very big and in a superb location, I highly recommend the sit when available. Looking after Michi and Luna is very simple and highly enjoyable, Michi is a sweetheart who will follow you everywhere and always be by your side no matter which room you are in. Luna will keep you busy with her playful attitude and she too is also very affectionate. I will definitely miss them both and hope to see them again soon. Thank you Philip for sharing your home and entrusting me to look after your loved ones!

Suzy is amazing - so smart, funny, loving and sweet! We loved spending time with her and we miss her already. We also really enjoyed the chickens. It was fun bringing them different veggie scraps and collecting their eggs each day - It made it feel like we were on a tiny farm! Katherine's is wonderful too - so caring, thoughtful and responsive. Their home is stunning - Katherine has designed it beautifully and we were so impressed by how much the layout and aesthetic evoked a sense of relaxation and ease. We loved reading in the window seat, playing with Suzy on the lush patio, cooking in the well appointed kitchen, taking-in the amazing canyon views, and sleeping in such a comfortable bed. Topanaga is awesome too - we loved checking out the unique little shops, walking around the neighborhood, and hiking amidst such dramatic ocean views. We truly could not have not have asked for a better sit and would eagerly come back any time!
Kelly and Drew are an absolutely lovely couple, warm and inviting, they made me feel incredibly welcome. Their dogs, Peggy and Dave, are very sweet and easy to manage; their routine is simple and they're both happy, friendly pups. Kelly and Drew's home is gorgeous, a beautiful house in a stunning domain which is kept in pristine condition. It's a very comfortable home with a gorgeous, large patio and lots of privacy -- and a lovely communal pool. It's a very quiet, small development tucked into the mountains just below St. Paul de Vence. The location is terrific, close to Nice Airport, and just a few miles to the lovely, larger town of Vence. I felt very fortunate to have been chosen for this assignment!
We spent a very pleasant long weekend taking care of sweet Phoebe. Alice and Scott welcomed us in their clean and beautiful home and explained everything in detail. They also picked us up from and dropped us off at the ferry terminal. Their house is very comfortable and filled with plants, which gives it a lovely energy. Phoebe was very affectionateand sweet. She is an indoor-outdoor cat, so she would sometimes go out to explore the area. She would always be back for the night though. She would come to the bed to ask to be pet. We loved taking care of her. There are a lot of plants in the house and you should know how to take care of them if you want to do this sit. Alice and Scott communicated well and we were in constant contact. All in all it was a very good experience and we would love to repeat it in the future. We recommend it to all the prospective sitters.
Jim and Lina were so great! We had such a great time spending time with Sonny and exploring Santa Cruz and the Bay area. As much as we enjoyed exploring, spending time in at the house on the top of the little mountain was our favorite! The view was perfect at every hour of the day, and having redwood trees right out the back door was incredible. Jim and Lina were kind enough to let my mother in law join us for a portion of the sit and we all enjoyed spending time in their family room or taking Sonny on long walks up and down the hilly neighborhood. After spending so much time in the area, we definitely hope to be back in the future!
