We really enjoyed house sitting for BJ and Jonathan. They are very friendly and welcoming people, and Dougal is a real delight. They are easy to communicate with and gave comprehensive information about the house and Dougal which made the house sit a breeze. They also gave great recommendations of local walks and activities which was helpful. And were kind enough to collect us from the airport on our arrival. Dougal was so easy to care for, and a superstar when it comes to tricks and obedience! Dougal accompanied us on various walks and hikes around Victoria and was always on his best behaviour. His great nature attracted a lot of attention from people and dogs and he always enjoyed stopping for a pat and to play with the other dogs. We loved spending time with Dougal and would jump at the chance to stay with him again. The house is in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. There is everything that you need, and more. It is easy access to groceries and necessities (even on foot). And has a great deck with a view where we spent many afternoons relaxing with Dougal. We highly recommend house sitting for BJ and Jonathan if you get the opportunity!
Emily made us feel comfortable in her home, we loved getting to know her and her adorable boys, Alfie and Merlow. They are adorable and little by little they began to trust us, we are grateful to have been able to share a few days together and to have had the chance to meet Emily too, who, generously, picked us up at the train station and then took us to the airport to go away. It was our pleasure to look after the adorable Sushi! She has so much love to give, and now we miss her! Carl and Patrick made the experience so easy, they were communicative and hospitality and to top it all off the apartment was incredibly comfortable. We would housesit for them again anytime :)
