It was an absolute joy to sit for Pierre in Debbie’s lovely home. Debbie is highly organised and communicates well. She made me feel at home instantly. Pierre is full of energy and fun and is incredibly affectionate. He was mostly quite content around other dogs we met on our walks and was no trouble in the car. But even after a long walk, he still has plenty of bounce left for a good game of chase the broom in the garden! I’m very much looking forward to another opportunity to sit for Pierre and would highly recommend Debbie as a great pet parent to any house sitters wanting to visit Devon.
We loved taking care of Sierra, Scamp and Zoe. These are the sweetest dogs as long as you give them lots of pets and walks. Linda’s house is warm and cozy and Linda is easy to communicate with. We had a great experience overall would be happy to do it again.
House sitting for Graham and Cheryl was an incredible experience that I'll always cherish. Over the four months, their warm hospitality and guidance made me feel right at home. Their two adorable dogs, Sophie and Winston, quickly became my furry companions, and I enjoyed every moment spent with them. Graham and Cheryl's attentiveness to their pets' needs and their clear instructions about the house and pool made my job as a house sitter seamless. Their beautiful home felt like a serene getaway, and I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming environment. I'm grateful for the opportunity to care for Sophie and Winston and would gladly house sit for Graham and Cheryl again in a heartbeat.

This was a wonderful first housesit for me. I stayed about a month in Sept/ October with Friday and Shenzi and had a great experience. Both Friday and Shenzi were such good companions and very sweet and easy to be with and take care of. I especially enjoyed my daily walks with dear Friday through the autumn woods and the local parks and trails - absolutely beautiful area along the river valley and close to the Cascades with many encounters with wildlife (Friday happily ditched me a few times in pursuit). The house itself is lovely and super cozy and Mary and Paul went out of their way to be kind, helpful, communicative, and thoughtful. Neighbors were kind as well and I felt super comfortable on this longer term sit by myself. I'm grateful to have gotten the opportunity to stay in Mary and Paul's home and share it with two sweet creatures. Highly recommend you to try and sit at this listing and see Skagit Valley.
Wow these 3 adorable darlings, so cute. Yes of course, It’s all about food and cuddles 🥰 but you just can’t resist them 😍. We loved our 2 night stay but it went way too quick. The hosts are lovely and the home is a delightful happy place to stay and in a really wonderful part of Scotland. A great sit and so easy 👍 Thanks for choosing us to look after your babies 🐶🐶🐶. Used this place for 2 years when I got a puppy as didn't want to leave her at home all day, absolutely brilliant. Jackie and Oli are so friendly and lovely, they make you and your pets feel welcomed. My girl was always happy to go here everytime because she was treated like one of theirs. If I hadn't moved halfway up the country, I would still be using them now. Safe, professional, and generally a great help to me. I would recommend to anyone.

I have just collected my terrier x after her first stay with Wags and Pads. I was quite nervous as my Bella is a barker and I know that she was a bit whingey on her first night. I needn’t have worried, Terri said she had settled well on the next two nights. She sent me photos of Bella relaxing on her sofa which was lovely. When I collected her this morning she was wearing a lovely pink bow, was given a bag of treats and I received some wax melts, all very unexpected. I was so relieved when Terri said she would look after Bella again. I’d have no hesitation in highly recommending Wags and Pads.
My dog loves coming here so much he doesn’t want to come home when we collect him, he is treated by Terri like he is her own dog and I never worry about him when he is there. We regularly get pictures an updates and he is always curled up on the sofa just like he is at home! ❤️
I couldn’t recommend wags and pads more! My little sausage dog is extremely anxious with people when I’m not around so the first time he went there I was a pile of nerves, now I can’t wait for the Fridays that he goes there and when I go on holiday I’m so relaxed knowing he’s getting looked after so well, getting pictures and videos of him playing and cuddling the staff (he never does this to any other human other than me and my partner). He’s getting better with his anxiety and I know he’s so well looked after. Terri has had my cocker spaniel, Nacho since he was a puppy. He is so well looked after and he absolutely loves going. (So much it can be a struggle to get him to leave!). It really is like a home from home at Wags N Pads and Terri provides the best care!
Terri and her family are amazing, I would recommend Wags n Pads to every dog owner! After having settling issues with a previous boarder, I was really worried how Lyra would get on but there was no need. From the first visit Lyra was so excited and it showed when I took her back, trying to dive through the door as soon as we arrived. Terri will always send photos of all the fun she is having and all the cuddles. It is so reassuring knowing she’s loved and cared for just as much at Wags n Pads as she is at home.
Mabel stayed here for 10 days in early January, it’s the first time we have left her and we were really worried. We need’nt have been concerned, she had the most wonderful time playing with the other dogs and received lots of love and attention. We were sent daily ‘Pup Dates’ and when we collected her she seemed very happy and content. Our flight was also cancelled and we had to stay an extra day, Terri was very accommodating and it was no issue for Mabel to stay another night. Mabel will definitely be going back in the future and we highly recommend. It’s 5 Stars⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me and 5 Paws🐾 🐾 🐾 🐾 🐾 from Mabel!!
Our dog,Ralph,was only 6 months old when he went to Terri,but she made us and him feel so comfortable and our minds were put at ease, as this was the first time we’d left him. He loved it there so much that he went back in the summer for three weeks! Our new puppy will be joining him when he goes back there next summer.
Where do I start! Terry and leigh, have taken such beautiful care of my fur baby for a week whilst we went away! I have never left my girl, so this was a huge thing for me! She has many allergys, and her eyes always get sore, I couldn't believe how well Terry kept on top of this, even though she is a busy lady! Each day I received pictures/videos and updates! And if I messaged asking how she was, there was an instant reply! I cannot thank you enough! My girl will definitely be back 💜

My boy loves going wags and pads im always updated with how he is and sent pics of what he is doing this definaly helps put my mind at ease knowing is well looked after. He stayed over for his first holiday stay which he loved and definately spoilt with lots of treats , love and care. Both my dogs are very well looked after. Always welcoming. Never had any issues with any of my dogs over the years. Very reasonably priced. Recommend dog grooming here too I've had my Giant Schnauzers groomed here and they look great and again well priced. Highly recommend Once again looked after brilliantly even accommodated my dogs diet and kept his food in the freezer. He loves staying here he's always spoilt and shown lots of love. Can't recommend Northwick Kennels enough. We had him groomed while he was there and he was there they do a fantastic job with the schnauzer cut.
Highly recommend, we all love our fur babies and hate leaving them so choosing a place where we know that they will be looked after properly is a big thing! My 3 dogs have all been very well looked after even in July 2022 when temperatures hit 40 degrees the dogs were made sure they kept cool. The staff are very friendly and willing to help out with any requests ie giving medication, feeding differently. Just booked mine in again for their next stay...

I was very apprehensive at first as this was the first time of leaving my puppy in kennels. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and above all made me feel at ease that my puppy would be well looked after and that I could message them for updates on his stay, and they sent me pictures and a short video of him playing. I would highly recommend Northwick Boarding Kennels and will be making further bookings.
We would highly recommend this kennels! Our dog went for the first time this week and she was so happy on returning. We will definitely be using again. Staff were amazing and cared for our dog really well.
I have been bring my pets here for a good while now, the ladies here are fantastic with the furries and their Hoomans! They are extremely good with our pets, very reasonable prices for boarding for cats, and dogs. If you are fussy about who looks after your furries, this is where you need to bring them. There's nothing fancy to bring the prices up for the customer, it's honest care for people who don't need glitz, glamour and fancy webpages - this is something I would recommend without hesitation, they actually care about the furries, and will do all that they can to help you out when you're in a pinch.
My dog is a regular visitor and loves her stays, she is always happy there, doesn't lose weight or get stressed. The kennels are the best I've seen, always well kept and the owners really care about the cats and dogs and are both friendly and professional. I wouldn't entrust my dog to anyone else.

It’s always a bit nerve-wracking taking an older dog to a new place, but I needn’t have worried. Jules is lovely and my dog loved her stay with her. Kaya’s Little Haven was a wonderful, calm environment and nothing was too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend, 11/10!
I was anxious about leaving George with someone he didn’t know, but at Kaya’s Little Haven, he was made to feel so welcome. The whole process was easy, a short meet and greet to make sure everyone was happy and then he went for 10 days. Lovely updates during that week, he received lots of attention and walks and he enjoyed playing with the other dogs. I would definitely recommend and use again.
I was a little worried about leaving Sunday with a dog sitter as he’s an old boy and hasn’t done anything like this before. But after one short meet and greet with Jules, I felt so comfortable leaving him. Her love for dogs just shines through and my boy just fitted right in. I loved getting updates whilst we were away for 10 days and seeing him so happy with his new friends. It really felt like he had a holiday too and he’ll definitely be a regular now!
Kayas little haven is amazing! Julie and Pete are so caring with the dogs and made mine feel so welcome and comfortable. They loved also playing with Julie and Pete’s dogs too. Both of mine came back very happy and content and obviously enjoyed their time there. I felt so comfortable leaving my pooches with them 🥰🐶

I used Kaya’s Little Haven for my Cockapoo in August. He stayed there for 12 nights and had a wonderful time. We received photos and videos of him throughout his stay so we knew he was alright while we were away. He was treated like one of their own dogs while he was there and we were able to holiday without any worries. Would definitely use Kaya’s Little Haven again and would certainly recommend to any of my fellow dog mum’s
I used Kaya’s Little Haven at very short notice in August after an initial successful meet and greet. I received photos and videos of Wills throughout her stay which was very reassuring and she certainly seemed to make herself right at home while we were away! I would definitely use Kaya’s Little Haven again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a caring home from home for their pup.
Dropped our 8 month old cockerpoo to Kaya’s for a weekend. Have never used a boarder before, but found Kaya’s to be amazing from the 1st meet to when we dropped off and collected, had complete confidence that KODA was going to be well looked after and after getting the videos sent and then seeing him on Facebook we can see he was having the best time. Well worth 5 * would give more if we could.
Toby my cocker spaniel stayed here for three nights and I couldn’t recommend Kayas more. Lovely people who looked after him perfectly. He was very happy and I have already rebooked him again. Home from home atmosphere and he loved it. Can’t recommend her enough!

I would give 6 stars if I could. The name of her business is spot on, she looks after the dogs like they're her own. She has been an absolute God send for me and my Mum the last few years when my Mum has been in hospital, its like a holiday for him when he stays with her
My Dog Dipsi went for a nights trial before we booked for our holiday . Dipsi is a bit of a princess so we were not sure how it would go . (She is very spoilt at home). She had obviously had a lovely time when we picked her up she was really happy (lots of waggy tails). and walks and cuddles on her stay really reassuring to get the photo updates ,knowing she was happy . I would really recommend . Thank you for for looking after her so well .

Lovely lady and brilliant setting. 5m walk to Benfleet Stn for commuters. Like a preschool for dogs. Lots of toys and home comforts. Paula takes a real interest in each and every dog that stays be it day care or boarding. Knows about breed traits, behaviour and can help with training too xXx
I would not trust anyone else to look after my precious Lhasa. She has boarded with Pawlas quite a few times now and every time she comes home she is happy, healthy and very settled. I cannot recommend this service more highly. Paula is a very experienced dog handler and instinctively knows what your pet needs. Paula never accepts a dog that is aggressive or anti-social so that you can rest assured and have your holiday safe in the knowledge that your dog will not come to any harm, illness or distress. Regular updates and contact is welcomed and occasional photos of your doggy on holiday is very reassuring. Keep it up Paula!!
Our dog Honey has been going to Pawla's for about 5 years now. She goes for daycare and boarding - and absolutely LOVES her time with Paula! We feel really confident that Honey is well looked and loved just as well as if she were at home. Paula is really flexible and very accommodating if we have to change dates or pick up times. Limited service as only takes small dogs of a certain breed.
Do not use this Kennels! My dog stayed here for 11 days and came home with severe sickness and diarrhoea and lost over 2kg in weight. My vet had to treat him for malnutrition and severe dehydration. They never notified me of him being ill, despite me calling whilst I was away on holiday. He was admitted to the vets the morning after I collected him and he spent another 4 days on a drip and had to have 24hr surveillance as he was so ill. After reporting it to the Kennels, I got a solicitors letter in return to say that if I advise other as to my experience they will sue me! They do not care about animals and will NOT pay my excess on my vets bill or even refund me the £385 I paid for them to look after him. My dog will never be able to go into a kennel again. They pay young girls to look after up to 80 dogs per day! Do NOT risk your pet staying here! Photos are to show that my dogs ribs were showing when we got him home - this was after a week in the vets where he had put on weight! Bandage is where he had a cannula in.
Absolutely fantastic team here! They looked after our cat on a long term stay while we were in between homes and they really looked after her and did so much to support and accommodate us even at short notice with extensions. Would highly recommend!
We looked around at a few places before here was recommended to us, I went for a view and while waiting I could see behind the scenes and liked how the staff were with the dogs,The staff are really friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them and they answered all my questions. Teddy went for a day stay, came out happy and exhausted, and loved it. We picked him up after a 12 night stay, and he came out happy and full of life. I will definitely be using them again and will highly recommend them to everyone. Top service

Dog was looked after okay but owners retained property and then ignored us when trying to retrieve it. Seems to be a recurring theme that they are not careful with owners property. Will revise the review if I have any update.
They did loose my 2 dogs collors, but I won't hold it against them, they looked after my 2 best friends for 2 weeks while we went on holiday, quality
Our 2 dogs stayed at Daws Heath Boarding Kennels for 8 days during our wedding and honeymoon. This was the first time they had stayed at any kennel and we were quite nervous to leave them to say the least. We were greeted by the team who were very friendly and playful with Teddy and Honey. We received many updates, photos and videos throughout their stay. They were given walks throughout everyday, given toys and affection! Ted and Honey seems to have loved their stay at Daws Heath and we will 100% be using them whenever we are away. Already like a second home for our dog) When we left Stormy for the first time, we were very worried about how it would be and whether she would be able to cope with the separation from us, but as soon as we came to visit Shirley, everything immediately became clear, the dog will like it here) Before leaving our dog, Shirley invited us to visit so that our dog would have time to get used to the new place, that we would make sure everything was okay and meet her super cute dog Ruby. Shirley sent us pictures of our dog and wrote all the news about our Stormi! We have visited Shirley's 4 times now and know for sure that we will come many, many more times! Thank you Shirley for becoming a second home for our Stoma and a helper for me)

Shirley and her team (Tracy, Daisy and Angela) are absolutely wonderful people and very professional. We have a boy Chow Chow named Patience and he was with Shirley’s care since he was young. There were times that we have last minute requests due to difficulty in our work schedules but Shirley is very approachable and will go out of her way to ensure that Patience is well looked after. We do appreciate it Shirley. Always puts our mind at ease by sending photos and updates throughout the day. We would recommend Shirley and her team to everyone.

We recently brought a puppy and we needed to have someone reliable, friendly and professional who would take care of our new little baby while we were away. My dog Amber has stayed with Shirley several times now and I never have any concerns about leaving her. When our original dog boarder had to close her small business during covid, we didn't think we'd be able to find another who would look after our fur baby as if she was her own . Then we found Shirley, who immediately put our minds at rest. She was so friendly and Luna, who can be quite nervous of people, took to her straight away. She showed us all her insurance and registered boarder documents . While Luna is staying with her, she is very good at keeping us updated and providing photos . We'd highly recommend Shirley 🤗
Shirley has been great and set my precious siberian husky with a great dog walker named David. David is so loving to Diesel, really puts Diesel through his paces and leaves me lovely notes regarding the walk they had. Shirley is always available via phone and is always accommodating to last min changes. A great service and people who really do care about the dogs they walk and look after. Our mini smooth haired dachshund had a tester session today. She settled in well and when we collected her she was having a fun time with the other dogs and owners of this professionally run doggy day care service.
