Masie is an adorable, playful and very well behaved dog with whom we had a lot of fun. We have grown very fond of her and we will especially miss cuddling and throwing balls. The very moment I left Chelsea I started missing Jojo, Maisy and Gracy... it's incredible how fast you love them. They're such sweet, loving dogs, very playful yet calm during the day, so you can work from home without too many distractions. Always around you to keep you company, very fond of humans. The daily walks were something to look forward to, especially in this surrounding green area of Gatineau Park with endless trails. As we had 2 cars to our disposal, we would often drive to a different trailhead with the dogs, to explore a new section. One of the dogs can go off leash, the other two on leash. Meshy the cat is a total character, she's likely the loudest cat I've ever seen haha, but she's very sweet too, starts purring when you enter the room and loves sleeping next to you. She sticks to the top floor. The house and environment are very dreamy, beautiful location in the forest. We enjoyed going out every day for a run or bicycle ride. The communication and contact with Sheri was efficient. She was readily available at WhatsApp in case there were any questions or issues, and she and her partner Kevin are kind and pleasant people to deal with. Thank you for an amazing 3.5 weeks.
Sheena and Ryan are the sweetest humans and I felt super welcomed into their home! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there in Vancouver. Pippa and Jasper are absolutely wonderful and we bonded instantly. They are so loving with their own unique personalities, always looking for any excuse to run around and play, and watching them together as mother/son is absolutely adorable. The apartment was super clean, and I appreciated them giving me detailed and clear instructions on the pets and home. Thank you both! I would be honoured to come back here again one day :)
Charlotte left us clear instructions for her 3 adorable cats who were fun and affectionate and very sweet . We felt relaxed at Charlotte and Joe’s place , our room was comfy and chocolates on arrival was a really nice touch . Great to have an off road parking space. We would happily sit for Joe and Charlotte again if we were in the Essex area .
Frank is such a character! He's so chatty when it's time for a walk and absolutely loves chasing his ball. He was excellent company and enjoyed snuggling on the sofa and bed. Kate, Jamie and Polly are all lovey. The house was spotless, and very welcoming. I had clear instructions for Frank's requirements and a group walk before they left was very useful. 10/10 recommend this sit. I hope to be able to look after Frank again 😊
Laura was a great homeowner to work with and such a cool human being. She was very thoughtful about communication. She went out of her way to have her cleaning professional come out just before I left; I was very grateful for that. I'm actually sad that I'm no longer with the kitties. The routine of brushing Zero and sneaking in rubs and pets of Clovis while feeding him Turkey is something I hope to be able to repeat in the future. Thank you for the opportunity!
