It was a great experience to spend time with Quin the boy dog and Luca the girl cat. Ann provided very detailed instructions on how to take care of her needs while she was away. The animals were very friendly and well behaved.
I highly recommend this sit for Chloe and Atlee! Chloe is expressive and likes to chat. She’s so loving and gentle and we were both entirely content when she was stretched out on my lap. Atlee is super timid and when I caught glimpses of her, I was struck by her beauty! Karen is a thoughtful and prompt communicator who ensured my questions were answered. All interactions with her, and her family, were pleasant and welcoming. Karen provides so well for her cherished kitties which made it easy for me to do so, as well. Karen and Don’s lovely home is comfortable and tidy and is located in a quiet neighborhood in which I felt safe while walking alone. In warmer months, the sunroom would be such a great space for lounging with the cats. The internet was strong for remote working. The home’s location is ideal for easy access to the many resources the area has to offer. I drove while staying, but there are nearby bike lanes and a bus stop, if needed. The trails at Calvin College provide a nearby green space for walking or snowshoeing. (Look for both the preserve and the cross country trails if you want a longer hike.) I’m grateful for the opportunity to sit with Chloe and Atlee and hope to return!
Anna’s home was lovely! Gorgeous home and views. And Murt! Basically the sweetest kitty ever. He snuggled with me and purred his head off immediately upon meeting me. I was sad to say goodbye after our two days together! The backyard and the chickens were very well set up and were low maintenance. Wonderful stay and experience.
We feel so lucky to have gotten the chance to be guests of Lee and Sherry; they are awesome people who so generously welcomed us into their beautiful home. It was great meeting them beforehand and getting the rundown of the house and pet care; they made sure we were perfectly comfortable and felt at home. Bingo was loads of fun to care for. It was fast to get used to his routine and also quick for him to warm up to us and take food from our hands. We miss watching him hop around and twitch his nose at us and would jump at the chance to care for him again. Highly recommended!
Deborah was very fun and easy to work with. We had a great time staying in her beautiful home. We loved the views from her patio and her panoramic view from her living room. The patio was my favorite place with the cool shade and listening to the water fall. It was very private and relaxing. The area was vey nice with lots of biking and hiking trails available. Sienna was very talkative. She would let you know what she wanted. Sometimes she was lovable and sometimes bossy but always fun. She would wake me up early, waiting outside our bedroom door for me to wake up and let her outside. Bella we only saw in the mornings up close or at a distance during the day. She was very shy and skittish and would only look at you through the window. We enjoyed our stay there, it was very peaceful and relaxing.
Catherine and her family were a dream to sit for and so helpful throughout. As for Blaze, Reggie, and Ronnie, it is impossible not fall in love with this little trio. Each one is so happy go lucky yet equally full of character.
