Carissa was very responsive and my cat seemed significantly less stressed after staying with her than when I have someone come check on her while traveling. I would definitely have her come sit again! This was my first experience with homesitters and I learned a lot. I think I would have liked to hear from Carissa more during the sit but whenever I reached out I got a prompt response. My house was clean and my cat was happy - can't ask for more!

Lauren & Zac

Lauren was a super low-maintenance and easy sitter for Roy! She was a good communicator and sent pictures of the wee man in his little spot, and kept me posted on her travel plans. We were able to do a video walk-through before she came, despite some scheduling and time-change hurdles; she's really willing to do whatever is best/easiest for the sit! I came home to a spotless house, and as an added bonus, a couple pieces of Ghirardelli chocolate on the counter, and a surprise batch of clean folded laundry on the bed! Thanks for everything, Lauren, and we hope to see you next time you're in DC!

Stephanie was absolutely amazing! Her communication, care and commitment are unsurpassed. She was prompt, texted us updates and photos throughout the week and left our home immaculate (which is no easy task during shedding season and rainy New England days), she even washed her linens before she left! She took amazing care of our fur babies, was diligently committed to their routines and feeding schedules and walked them daily (even in the rain)! Stephanie took genuine interest in our dogs right from the moment they met...she has a gentle approach and big love for animals and it shows. Our pack loved her! Thank you, Stephanie, we hope we can have you back in Newport again, soon! :) This was also our first use of a zeewoi -- previously we paid family and friends for less than satisfactory dog/home care. We are beyond grateful to have found this great service! (We think we're a little spoiled "right out of the gate" with such a great match (Stephanie) first time around.) We are comfortably looking forward to more travel this year because of this initial experience!

Cyndi was fabulous. I'd describe her as the no fuss no muss dog sitter. While some dog sitters need guidance on every little detail, Cyndi was completely self-sufficient. She left the home in perfect shape and totally adored my pup. I'd gladly welcome her back anytime!

Amanda was a fantastic sitter, who cared wonderfully for my Lenny while I was out of town for the Christmas holiday. She followed the instructions to a tee, was always communicative with updates and pictures, and overall is a lovely, kind, and helpful person that felt easy to trust with my home and my boy. She handled a slight curveball with absolute grace—my Len forgot his manners and wasn’t terribly nice to her service dog, Wally, but she took it in stride and kept both pets happy and healthy. I’d absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone in need of a sitter, she left the place spotless and was a fantastic sitter!

Bruna was great! Very organizized and communicative both before the during the short sit. She gave lots of loves and walks to my Darcy and left the house clean and tidy.

Hilary

Hilary housesat for us for a little more than a month. She took great care of our house, plants and especially our dog Charlie. We returned home to a very clean, tidy house complete with fresh flowers. She even helped us getting to and from the airport. Our pup has a delicate constitution and often has tummy issues. Hilary kept us apprised on how he was doing and consulted us on his care. We could tell that she really cared about Charlie and that he was getting a lot of attention. Our neighbor even commented on how much they saw Hilary out walking Charlie around the neighborhood. Leaving a pet for for so long can be stressful. Hilary put us at ease knowing that Charlie was in caring hands. We can't recommend Hilary highly enough and would not hesitate to have her sit for us again!

Abby was amazing! Animals were all very happy when I came home. She even did some cleaning for me which she definitely didn't have to do! This was a very short notice sit for 5 cats and a dog who needs medication. Can't say enough good things about Abby!

Laura was a great communicator from the onset. Not only was she well prepared during our phone interview, but then gave fun, daily updates with pictures during her stay. She was reliable and left our house in better shape than when we left it. Most importantly she took great care of our dogs. Seemed to really understand their personalities and cater to their individual needs.

After sitting for us back in April, we were thrilled Des was willing to sit for us again. This time the sit was for 6 weeks and I can’t tell you what a relief it is to feel 100% comfortable being gone for that long knowing Des was in charge of the cats and home. As my review of her previous sit states, she sets the bar really high in all areas: communication, reliability, pet care, professionalism, cleanliness, etc. But I’d like to call attention to her self-reliance and easy-going demeanor.

During a longer stay, things are bound to happen that you cant anticipate. One of those things was a flat tire on the car we lent her. She had it patched and didn’t even bother us with it until she’d already resolved the issue. Then, our router for the WiFi went down. Des was incredibly patient and generous with her time to help my husband troubleshoot the issue remotely and then go through the actual install of a new router. Finally, a small part on our AC unit went out on a Saturday. In the summer when temps were close to 100 outside, that’s not an issue that can be ignored. Again, she was patient with us and worked with my husband to troubleshoot the issue remotely so we could speed up the fix when the technician arrived. Despite our (relatively new) house and car breaking on her in these various ways, she was helpful, positive, and never complained. As a midwesterner who hates inconveniencing others, I am relieved she just rolled with everything.

Des really is an exceptional sitter and anyone should be so lucky to have her stay at their home and watch their pets.
