Jane and her husband were great. They came to our home a month before our trip to meet us and our pets. Our home was just the way we left when we returned and all the fur kids were happy.
The apartment is very beautiful, comfortable, safe and there is a supermarket and public transportation nearby. Loki and Astrid are so sweet and comfortable, I’m gonna miss them.
Leslie was really organised, her communication was brilliant and she gave us all the information we needed, answered questions and gave us a guided tour of the house before she left. She made sure that we had everything we required to be comfortable in her clean, charming, light and airy home and was generosity itself leaving us a bottle of wine and some chocolates which were greatly appreciated. The house is in a great location to explore Cambridge city itself with Trumpington park and ride some ten minutes away and for visiting places of interest further afield of which there are many. The setting of the house is beautiful, surrounded by mature trees. Each evening we were lucky enough to be visited by a muncjac deer who quite happily stood a few yards away from us whilst we watched him munch on the windfalls. There is a pub, the Royal Oak some five minutes walk from the house which serves good food and is extremely popular. On Fridays a mobile fish and chip van parks up there. We were lucky to have some brilliant weather for our stay and spent several evenings sitting outside with a drink watching the world go by. However, the star of the show was Rufus. He took a couple of days to actively seek out our company but then he couldn’t have been more affectionate, sitting on the sofa with us in the evening have his tummy tickled and his head and ears stroked and scratched was pussy heaven for him. During the day Rufus is very independent and does his own thing returning at times with many meow greetings only for a tummy top up of food and then disappearing again. He is such a sweet natured puss and very easy to care for, even gracefully accepting daily brushes due to his long coat without a fuss. We miss him already. Thank you Leslie for giving the opportunity to take care of your lovely home and to look after Rufus. We shall always remember this sit and would recommend it to any sitter without hesitation, we had a great time.
We had an amazing time looking after sweet Willow and staying at Zoe and Billy’s place. Their house is lovely and cozy, and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Willow is such a fun loving puppy who loved playtime and cuddles, and we couldn’t recommend this stay more for travellers like ourselves!
Poppy was a pleasure to stay with. She was affectionate from the start and became more so as our week together went on. She loves to retrieve the ball, and go on walks in the neighborhood. Adrienne's place is well equipped, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's a short walk to Park Avenue, where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Adrienne was very clear about Poppy's needs, and quickly responsive by text when I had questions. Overall a great sit that I'd be glad to do again.
Eloise is a very kind, easy-going and open minded person. The communication was very easy and her home was super cosy as well! Teddy,Pixie and Ari are so lovely and we are already missing them. They are friendly and very cuddly, which we loved! Area is perfect as well. Public transport is just a 5 min walk away. It was a very very nice weekend in Belmont! Thanks Eloise for trusting us and giving us such a nice time! :-)
This housesit was such a treat. The location is amazing, so many awesome nature trails nearby and the views from the backyard are gorgeous, especially during sunset time. Janna was a great communicator throughout our stay, her and Mike are very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. & Jelly is just the best companion to walk, cuddle and be around. He’s so obedient, joyful and loving, you can’t help but to smile when you see him!! Overall incredible experience, we would 1000% love to sit Jelly again! :)
