Pet Sitters in Cardington

Robert and Janet arrived the night before our flight as arranged. They looked after Rusty very well coping with some out of character aggressive incidents with common sense measures. They kept us up to date regularly with news and photos during our six-week holiday. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy house and a couple of meals to see us over the worst of the jet lag. Thank you Robert and Janet.

Rowena was a fabulous sitter. Not only did she care for our house and Barney superbly but she did it all without actually ever meeting us! Our first sitter kindly conducted the handover on our behalf and was obviously much better at it than us! Barney had a wonderful time on long walks and at the village cafe and the house was left in absolutely immaculate condition. We would unreservedly recommend Rowena as a sitter and hope she’ll be available next time around!

It was wonderful to have Sandy back to look after Pixie. Sandy is polite and kind and clearly is fond of Pixie, looking after very well with lots of cuddles and photos sent to me too. I had a lovely welcome home and the house was as spotless as I had left it 😁 Thanks Sandy .

Kathryn pet and house sat for us with her mum. They were both lovely and we couldn’t have asked for better dog sitters. Even though Kathryn came down with a bad cold when staying with us, she walked the dogs and the house was spotless when we got home. The dogs were relaxed and happy too. Kathryn was quick to respond to messages and double checked anything she wasn’t sure about. Definitely five stars!

Julia and Ryan seemed to have a magic touch with Lupin (our cat) as the photos they sent he looked like a kitten and he is 12 years old! He even sulked when they left on their last day! Our garden was immaculate as they seemed to have done a lot of cleaning up after the chickens too! Would recommend them or have them come to us again.

Caren and Malcolm arrived the evening before we left, so we were able to get to know them. We had no hesitation about leaving our three dogs and home in their care. Whilst we were away Caren kept us informed about the dogs and what they were up to. It was clear that they kept to the routine that the dogs were used to. The house was left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Caren and Malcolm.

Your pet(s) will be in safe and reliable hands with Beth. We didn’t have a lot of hand over time and yet Beth left us confident that all would be well and it was. We would happy have her back. Our dog clearly loved her too.

Florina , Cosmin and their little girl were great house-sitters. Their pre-stay communication was clear and they arrived promptly. All the animals (sheep, chickens and dog) were very well cared for, and my dog and their daughter clearly developed a great friendship. Their communication throughout their stay was great and they sent me some lovely pictures of their time looking after everything. They waited for me to get back on the day of their departure, and the house was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them.

Lily was our first housesitter and we couldn't have asked for a better person. She is trustworthy, friendly and reliable - and a genuinely delightful person! Great communication, and looked after our garden, house and cats brilliantly. Highly recommended.

Caroline and Steve were fantastic. We have 3-dogs and they took such good care of them. Our ridgebacks have special requirements - one is very nervous and the other is totally the opposite! Caroline and Steve were not fazed in the slightest - they bonded so well with the dogs and I would highly recommend them to take very good care of your pets. Our house was really well looked after. Caroline and Steve were very organised and tidy, our house was spotless when we got back, and they had washed the bedding. If you need someone to take care of your pets and house to a really high standard then these guys will not disappoint

Kat is an exceptional sitter and this was her second visit to us. This week she cared for our elderly 17 year old cat, Tiggy, who was being treated for high blood pressure and stage 3 kidney failure. Kat followed all our instructions about medication and diet. Sadly, at the end of the week Tiggy’s condition deteriorated rapidly. Kat and a neighbour took her to the vet and kept us fully informed. We got home in time to say goodbye to Tiggy. We are so grateful for the loving care Kat gave to Tiggy in her final week. Kat dealt with the situation with compassion and understanding. Despite dealing with this anxious time, Kat left everything spotless in the house and the garden was thriving thanks to her attention. Thank you so much, Kat, for everything. Pauline and Careyx

Eileen was a great sitter. Communication before the sit was excellent, she responded to messages promptly, was well organised, and asked questions if she was unsure about anything. She arrived when agreed at the start of the sit and our dog Poppy was immediately at ease with her, which made us feel really comfortable about leaving for our holiday. Also, the vet put our cat onto medication a few days before the sit started and Eileen was happy to administer that as required. Communication during the sit was spot on, Eileen checked before we left how often we wanted updates on our pets and kept us well informed. We returned to a spotless house, with extremely happy and relaxed pets who I genuinely believe had not missed us one bit! I would 100% recommend Eileen.
