Heather
Heather and Rob have a beautiful home with a great view. We very much enjoyed being a guest in their house. They are very communicative and quick to reply to questions.
Milk the cat is a stunningly gorgeous, big cat with the softest fur ever. He likes to talk to make his needs known and even doesn't mind being picked up and held. He is very easy to take care of and quite the interactive character. We love him and are grateful for the opportunity to have lived with him for a little while.

BJ
BJ and Jonathan were absolutely fantastic to communicate with. They were very detailed in the care for Dougal and ensured we had all the information we needed to be comfortable caring for him. BJ and Jonathan were very accepting and accommodating for our daughter. They allowed us to arrive the evening before and to leave after our daughters nap. It was a true pleasure. Dougal was a dream on the leash, definitely loves his snifs and his walks. Really loves the beach and playing chuck-it. He is a well mannered boy. Tucking him in at night was always so cute. Dougal was a great boy and tolerated our daughter well. Also enjoyed his naps and relaxing. We would definitely return! Thanks again for having us!

I recently had the pleasure of caring for Ollie, and he was an absolute delight! Ollie is incredibly well-behaved and sweet, making the experience thoroughly enjoyable. He has a quirky personality that is sure to keep you entertained; his unique antics are endearing and fun to watch.

Betsy's house is situated in the most beautiful area, adding to the overall experience. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect place for a peaceful and pleasant stay. I highly recommend taking care of Ollie if you have the chance; it's a wonderful experience in a lovely setting!

Wendy
We met with Wendy and Rory a couple of weeks before our sit for a walk with the dogs. They’re a lovely couple, with genuine ease. Their home is a relaxing, calm and cosily comfortable place. There is quick access to plenty of nearby green space and the local walks are wonderful. Plenty of walks to homely village pubs too!

Lola and Kyuss are totally absorbing dogs – they extend bundles of love and are responsible for some moments of true hilarity around the home and out on walks. We’ll miss the morning noises and toys from Kyuss and the upside-down dreamy twitches from Lola. This fabulous duo are really gorgeous dogs - keen to explore wherever you might choose to wander, or, just snuggle up and watch a movie on the sofa with you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope future dates might fit with us again! Thanks Rory and Wendy for letting us fawn over your babies for a week. All the best to you both!

Barbara
Jessie and Tucker are both great cats. After a couple of days, anytime I sat down Tucker joined me for lap time and when I stopped using the noise machine she slept with me! Jessie was a sweetie and I loved how she climbed up on the back of chairs - even the office chair! She didn't snuggle but loved affection. They will both tell you when it's meal time and liked playing with the ribbon toy.

Barbara and Rob are wonderful, friendly hosts and have a lovely, clean home in a very quiet and safe gated community. If you golf or play tennis you'll be in heaven! I wish it would have been warmer on my visit because I would love spending time in their screened-in back room. I did visit one of the community pools a couple of times when it was almost warm enough. The gate latch confused me, but you just have to pull up on the top part. The key card is for the bathrooms, not the gate.

Barbara is an extremely thoughtful and kind human. When she offered to make dinner the night of my arrival I told her not to worry about it because I eat mostly vegan and gluten-free and I know it can be complicated. She surprised me with a delicious bean soup and even made some Minnesota wild rice (she remembered that I said I was originally from Minnesota).

I enjoyed exploring the nature nearby, especially watching the sunrise over the ocean just a 15 minute drive away!

If you get a chance to sit for Jane and Arnold, grab it. They are wonderful people who have given these 5 rescues a life that most PEOPLE could only hope for.
The dogs have a comfortable home filled with blankets, toys, and bed cushions (and their king size bed).

Out the the front door are acres of fenced in, manicured grass to play in. They get premium food, lots of treats, and so much LOVE. The older two take some meds and there is a simple system for doing this.

The dogs get along great. Each has their own unique personality. They love to chase the tennis balls, explore the yard, and just run around. And they all love for you to pet them and talk to them. They'll snuggle in the bed with you, too.

There is much to do in the area. We found some great hikes! The downtown is nearby and has some nice shops and places to eat.

Spend some time here and you'll go home with a big smile on your face.
