My stay at Rob and Deb's was great! They were amazing host and made me feel like I was in my own house. Levi and Piper are the easiest sit you will have. Levi a little shy but super happy to have me there and always ready to ask for a treat. I died to see how sweet Piper is when I'm around her and they always will be happy to go for a walk around the neighborhood.
We were privelged enough to stay at Mark & Marions beautiful home recently in rural Essex. The property is a 16th Century Cottage with all the charm and character you would expect from a building of that age. Mark & Marion have lovingly restored it and modernised it throughout, managing to maintain the original features of the property. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the en-suite was newly refurbished and very luxurious. The indoor pool felt like the height of luxury for us and we swam everyday, sometimes twice! The cats were no trouble, in fact we barely saw them, Rum occasionally stopped by for a quick cuddle. The chickens however became our feathered friends over the week. They have so much character and followed us everywhere we went on the property. We loved having fresh eggs for breakfast, defintely a big pay off for the small amount of work it took to to care for them. Mark & Marion made us feel very welcome, even cooking dinner for us the night we arrived. We really enjoyed their company and hearing about their fascinating professions. They provided us with a list of local attractions and advice on shops and restaurants. There were plenty of local sights to see and we had a brilliant day out in Cambridge. We really enjoyed our stay here and were sad to leave. I highly recommend this house sit to anyone who is considering it in the future.
Missy has a lovely garden in a beautiful neighborhood of New Orleans. I enjoyed caring for her unique plant varieties within established garden beds. Missy had fragrant roses, colorful hibiscus, flowering trees and daisies galore. When I was unsure of a certain plant Missy would provide the necessary information through online communication. It was always easy to be in contact with Missy while staying in her home. Missy has a charming home that is decorated with lovely memorabilia in New Orleans. Her house is in very close proximity to all the necessities: groceries, pharmacy, clothing, terrific restaurants and music venues. Access to public transportation was also easy with three bus routes and a street car route. I was able to get anywhere I wanted to go using public transport or walking. The use of a vehicle was not necessary. Missy's neighbors were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. They wanted me to have THE BEST NEW ORLEANS experience ever, which I did. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay in New Orleans and hope that someday I can once again housesit and garden care for Missy in the future.
I loved looking after Sennah and Kahmui, they are so well behaved and such well natured dogs. Absolute sweethearts. The house is gorgeous with everything you could ever need or want. Views of the beautiful hills right from the garden. Shkarra was brilliant and explained any query I had. Thank you again! I would happily look after Sennah and Kahmui again if the dates matched up
I had a wonderful time with these guys. It's amazing to see their sibling bond and hierarchy, and while they are generally very relaxed happy to just chill, they had their super funny crazy moments too. Minnie is the more independent one but 1st to cuddle up whenever I sat down and she enjoys a silly game of chase/hide n seek in the evening which was hilarious. Mev loves to follow the cat around or play with his ball endlessly and is your No1 bodyguard and shadow, and Max is the sweetest always asking for pets, following me, and chatting. The house is very quiet, neighborhood felt safe, and I woke to the sound of birds and got to watch a couple foxes close up. It was easy to communicate with Rachel during the sit and really was pretty chill, aside from Mev letting me know about every bark and fox and the walks can be a bit stressful as both are quite reactive to other dogs we pass even if they are far away.
Zanzi is the most handsome king! He was lovely company and Julian and Elizabeth were so generous, kind and accomodating. Their house is beautiful and so is Zanzi! Thanks for having me Eliza x
