Teri & Steven’s place is in such a beautiful location. The view is spectacular! And their beautiful cats Luis & Max are great company and full of character. I especially enjoyed biking on the Burke-Gilman trail just a block or two away, and I’ll never forget reading on the deck with that view. It’s also a nice house for writing or other online work. The petcare instructions were thorough and easy to follow. I would happily housesit for Teri & Steven again!
Highly recommend as both pup and James a delight. Instructions and walk through very clear. You’ll enjoy hanging out together on the porch admiring the magnificent views and peaceful walks right outside the door. The short distance into downtown Blowing Rock and all it has to offer is a bonus.

We cannot say enough good things about our sit for Bob & Kathy, but we'll try to keep this to a reasonable length! First of all- Molly makes our top dog list for sure! She's such a sweetheart and so easy to care for. She knows what she wants and she will let you know- she'll stop at the end of the driveway if she has no interest in a walk, or she'll happily head for the beach with you for a nice wander, paw at you if she has not received enough pets for the day, and tells you if she needs to go out to chase a squirrel. :) Bob & Kathy provided a great description of her mannerisms to us in advance, and we were so in love with Molly the whole time. We miss her dearly and hope to care for her again! We also had Pepper the cat for our sit- a special treat as she was a bonus from their son who was away at the same time- and we just loved her to bits as well. She is the quintessential cat, incredibly easy to care for, and while she and Molly needed to be in separate spaces, this was easily accomplished due to the layout of the Brewster house. We would happily watch her again as well. Kathy & Bob are such lovely people and we feel so incredibly grateful to have been trusted to care for their home and pets for 7 weeks. We really enjoyed our overlap with them- all the local info they shared with us, and communication was so easy the entire time they were away (their guide was very thorough as well!) Further, we felt like we were welcomed like family, and we left with fuller hearts because of it! As for the space, we were in the Brewster house for this sit, and it was wonderful! Spacious, clean, comfortable, excellent location, had everything we could possibly need, and was an amazing "home" for us for 7 weeks! We met a couple of neighbors who were lovely, and we made it a point to walk to the beach every day- what a life! For those working remotely, the internet connection is excellent and there are great options for workspaces. This was our first time in the Cape Cod area and we hope it's not the last! If you get the opportunity to sit for Bob & Kathy- TAKE IT! We hope to do so again soon!

We very much enjoyed our time at Fatima's home with Coco and Nelson. Fatima is very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know when we arrived. She also gave us great suggestions for some things to do nearby. Nelson LOVES being outside and will be asking to go outside first thing in the morning. It is such a lovely backyard to enjoy some peaceful time resting while he is exploring on his harness. Coco is gorgeous and keeps mostly to herself but will come up for a rub every now and again. Would definitely recommend this house/pet sit to others!
