We loved our housesit at Abby and Sam’s! Golden is a very cute town, close to both Boulder and Denver, and surrounded by nature. Golden has everything you could ask for with nice restaurants and cafes just a walk away. Abby was a great communicator during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a great yard in the back for Mabel to play in. During our ~1 week stay, Mabel quickly warmed to us and became our best friend. She was so happy to just hang out with us and get pets. And of course, the cats! All of the cats are very friendly (all very different personalities which we got to know and love) and after no time, they were cuddling up to us. The cat room and catio are great spaces for the cats and very manageable. We 100% recommend housesitting for Abby and Sam if you have the opportunity.
The pets were easy to care for and such a pleasure to be around. Horse, Charles Dickens, and its buddy pony, Tino, are gorgeous and absolute sweethearts. They are both calm and not much work at all. Just a few wheelbarrows to muck out from the field and bring some hay to them. Depending on the season, rugs might need to be put on/taken off. They were both amazing (calm and cooperative) while I was putting on/taking off their rugs. They are just calm nature horse and pony. Everything with the two of them was super easy and no trouble at all. The same can be said about the cat, Mog. She is also really loving and sweet. Mog loves cuddles and is so easy to care for. She does all her biz outside, going out through a cat flap, so no litter box on this sit. There are 4 easy chickens that all lay delicious eggs. The house is really beautiful, super clean, and very tidy. It's also spacious, cozy, and comfortable, my son and I loved it there. There's a lot of space around the house, as it sits on few acres of land in a beautiful countryside. The hosts, Frances & Terry, are a very generous, helpful, and great company. I'm pleased we were able to spend some time together, having enjoyable conversations, upon their return. They are a welcoming, kind and warm family. Frances's communication prior to, during, and after the sit was great. She picked us up from the nearest train station (Kemble). We were very happy and pleased with the sit all together. The house is beautiful and clean, the pets are a pleasure to care for and the hosts are wonderful and made us feel appreciated. We had a wonderful time and would come back to sit for Frances & Terry again. I highly recommend this sit, you'll love it, as we sure did.
🌟🐾💫Sunny took our hearts and ran with it!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 She’s a precious bundle of fun ness, cuteness, smartness, and overall gorgeousness we were blessed to have warmed our hearts🙏🏼🩷 A completely relaxing experience Cheryl & Wakes home was deliriously beautiful providing a sanctuary above the swaying gum trees. Morning ball games, Coffee & Cake at Organika with the most beautiful Beach walks on one of the best doggy off leash beaches in the world would have to be Heaven Off a Leash! 🐾🙏🏼🌺🙌❤️ Wouldn’t hesitate recommending this exquisitely stunning house sit and an even more exquisitely scrumptious Sunny pup sit to the fortunate few. Thanks again Cheryl ❤️ Wake 🙏🏼❤️
What do you get when you stay at Jason's place? You get a great home in a great centrally located area of Dallas with great dogs! I wish I could share pics of Susie and Hobbes on this review! They are absolutely the best dogs with completely different personalities. Hobbes is so chilled and the boss of the house. Susie is the youngin' that demands all the attention, and she deserves it! It was soooo easy to take them on nice long walks. And Jason was a great communicator, but not demanding. And the location is within walking distance to great restaurants for the Foodie in you; and a 10 minute drive to several grocery stores and more. Big HIGH 5's for this sit!
I had such a great time with Pepper and Moose. They're both very chilled, loving, cuddly and fun to be around. Ollie and Hannah are lovely, and easy to communicate with. Their home is beautiful, close to public transport and parks. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!
Looking after Tilly and Bruce was just so much fun. They were very obedient and hilarious personalities. Bianca and Michael are a lovely couple and left clear instructions for the puppies and where everything was in their home. I would definitely look after Tilly and Bruce again.
