We had a lovely week house and pet sitting at Paul's character house. Paul invited us to stay the night before he went away so we all had plenty of time to get to know each other and time for Paul to tell us more about the running of the house and pets Jasmine and Phyllis. We were blessed with good weather and really enjoyed exploring the local villages, beautiful beaches and nearby small towns of Seahouses, Alnwick Amble, Morpeth and Rothbury. We had an excellent meal at the Joiners Arms at Newton by the Sea. Jasmine is a gentle, affectionate and happy dog. She is really well trained and we are missing her company already ! Phyllis takes a little longer to get to know, but within a day she was sitting beside us in the evenings and following us around the garden enjoying having company. We would really recommend this house/pet sit as it was a genuinely positive experience. Thanks again Paul.
This was a dream petsit! Mia and Foo are both adorable, extremely affectionate and were wonderful companions for my time studying in Zurich. Sarah is lovely and was fantastic to deal with throughout - communications and instructions were all very clear and prompt before, during and after the sit. I also loved the flat - modern, homely, very clean/tidy and close to the station. Hoping there is an opportunity to return soon :)
It was a pleasure staying with Igloo in Gemma and Sam's lovely home in the Swiss Alps. The village was peaceful and there were many great walks on our doorstep, or a short drive away. Igloo is full of energy for exploring but pretty chilled at home, as long as he's had his walk. Sam and Gemma were easy to communicate with and provided everything we might need. We enjoyed our time with Igloo and would definitely consider coming back someday!
I loved sitting for Kimmiee in Worthing Mark's home is newly decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is also located in an amazing spot only seconds from the sea and there are nice places to eat and local amenities close by. You can also get to other places like Brighton and London from the closely train station of Worthing. Kimmiee is a very sweet cat, who will come for some strokes and treats once she gets used to you and she was a pleasure to care for I would definitely recommend Mark's home for other sitters and would come again.
We had a fantastic sit with Tattie and Rooster in Tara and James’ lovely home. The dogs immediately bonded really well with our dog Skipper. It was great to watch Rooster and Skipper in particular spending so much time playing together - being the same size as each other. We all enjoyed great walks to the nearby River Thames and through miles of fields surrounding the house. We worked from home for some of the time we were there and were able to do that easily. We did not spend much time exploring the beautiful local area but did visit nearby Bampton to follow the Downton mile and watched the military aircraft at nearby Brize Norton. Tara and James were fantastic hosts who made us really welcome in their home. We would absolutely welcome the opportunity of sitting for Tattie and Rooster again in the future. We would highly recommend the sit. Thank you Tara and James and of course Tattie and Rooster.
Jenny & Martin were fabulous hosts and I felt most welcome in their lovely house with a very nice swimming pool. Looking after their gentle, sweet dog, Bella, and their friendly daily-visiting cat, Larry, was an absolute pleasure. The house is in a lovely neighbourhood with friendly, helpful neighbours and magnificent views of the coast. The comprehensive Welcome Guide that they had prepared helped to ensure that the housesit was a stress-free experience from start to finish. Cyprus is a lovely island and I particularly enjoyed Paphos. Jenny and Martin generously let me use their car which helped immensely to make my stay so enjoyable and I would heartily recommend this housesit.
