This was the first time we used this site and Jinnie was amazing! She was polite, respectful of the house and reliable. I know Gracie enjoyed having Jinnie around! I’d definitely secure her again.
Nice small appartment on a great quiet location, steps from beach and downtown Oceanside. Clean and a friendly cat called Max was a good companion. Good and clear communications between Jill and myself about the sit. I enjoyed it.
Sally and her husband were so sweet and welcoming, and their house is lovely. Cleo and Penny are super easy to care for and extremely sweet animals. Highly recommend - thanks Sally!
Melissa is such a wonderful host, very caring and helpful, going above and beyond to help, especially on my last day when I was sick. She is thorough and thoughtful, with great communication. The apartment is large and comfortable, in a central location to anything you may need. Melissa’s cats are gorgeous, but need some extra care, being rescues with skittish tendencies, and suit a more experienced house sitter. Melissa has an incredibly kind and helpful neighbor who was also such a blessing.
Fermin and I had a wonderful time with the four Mouseketeers! They are such a fun and entertaining bunch, providing endless amusement. They love to play and even their mealtime is full of fun antics! We love watching their unique and endearing relationships with each other. They are also great on their own while you are out and about, as they have each other’s company. I've known Ann and Justin for 30 years and have sat for all of their cats more times than I can count. I can affirm that they are the kindest and most down-to-earth people, highly organized, and communicative. With four cats, mealtime might sound complicated, but it isn’t at all, thanks to Ann’s impeccable organization and clearly labeled items for the one cat with a special diet. I appreciate being able to complete mealtime in 10 minutes, feeling certain that each cat has eaten well. Ann and Justin’s home is simply gorgeous, with huge windows and expansive ocean views. They also have a lovely patio and garden, an incredibly well-equipped kitchen, and a tastefully decorated and comfortable home throughout. The house is walkable to tons of hip places to eat and drink and is an easy drive to all the main sites and trails that Santa Cruz has to offer. I highly recommend sitting at this gorgeous, well-located ocean-view oasis with this endearing bunch of cats who you will certainly fall for.
Lucky (15year old golden retriever), Fudge (toy poodle) and Harley (Havanese) were really great dogs to look after and all have very different personalities. Its the first time Ive sat for three dogs but they were very easy to look after. Lucky is very old, so does struggle to get about and sleeps/rests most of the day but if he thinks there is a walk on the cards he develops a sudden spring in his step! Fudge is very timid and not at all keen on going out but is super cute. Harley is a little bundle of excitement. I gave them a couple of walks a day (only one very short one for lucky) - there are some lovely walks either straight from the house or a 5 min drive away. The house is right in the country (but shops only a 10min drive away) and has an enormous front and back garden. Aside from walking the dogs, Bluewater shopping centre is only a 20 minute drive away. Cheryl and Darren made up the spare bedroom for me. Super comfy bed and lovely room. And then of course there’s the coffee machine!
I had a great time taking care of Mischa and Hamish. They are both very lovable and affectionate and just a lot of fun. They love interacting with people, enjoy cuddles, and are very playful. Hannah and Jake were very welcoming and made sure that I had everything I needed for my stay. They even had some welcome gifts for me - thank you so much again. Their flat is lovely, has a great view over Manchester, and is very well-located, with a train station and bus stop nearby. Communication was great throughout, and I highly recommend this sit to anyone looking to spend some time in Manchester with two adorable cats.
