Jasmine and Phyllis are the sweetest-natured animals. Jasmine loves nothing more than long walks and then cuddles on the sofa, she is excellent both on and off the lead with fantastic recall. Phyllis is a source of much entertainment, she's a very affectionate cat and loves to curl up next to you and is also so chatty which is lovely. Paul's home is just outside the lovely village of Warkworth and is a good central point for exploring the county. You're within a five minute drive of the nearest beach which is beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea from the Running Fox in nearby Shilbottle and the Fish Shack in Amble is also highly recommended. Paul provided an excellent and comprehensive Welcome Guide and also lots of tips for walking and nearby attractions.
Taron is easy going. Very good communication with him. House is cosy. And Doug? Doug is friendly dog with big heart. He like company of people and he need lot of move. He is strong. Good for some one who is fit. 🙂 Nice time be there.
We felt very welcomed by Cristian to his lovely home. We enjoyed a welcome dinner with Cristian before he left early the next morning. We had a comfortable bedroom with ensuite. The house was warm and inviting. Cristian left plenty of provisions for us and we felt very spoilt. Bella and Bailey were a delight. They had very individual personalities but shared the common trait of being very lovable pups. We very much enjoyed spending our days with them. They have a very manageable routine and Cristian made sure that everything we needed was readily available. They are both the dearest little dogs and we already miss them. There were plenty of walking paths around the estate for walking the dogs. There was a convenient bus to both Horsham and Crawley at the end of the street. We recommend this petsit and would love to come back to see Cristian and our little friends Bella and Bailey.
We had such a wonderful sit for Jeanne and Chris! They were excellent communicators and all the instructions were very straightforward. Their home was so comfortable and cozy. Between the hot tub, wood burning fire and walking the property, it was like being on a peaceful vacation but close enough to Durango to have everything you need or want just minutes away. And the dogs!!! Oh my goodness! George and Morgan were such sweethearts. They became best buds with Hershey and he loved being part of their pack! We fell in love with them both immediately . They were so easy to care for, so lovable and so obedient! They respond to voice commands like pros which was awesome. They love their walks, their treats and their snuggles. We would sit for them again in a heartbeat
Wow! Sitting for 10 animals and hound dogs was an adventure for SURE! The dogs did not always get along as I feel they are not sure who is the Alpha! I did not like to put them on a leash tied to the bed, etc. when I left and I did what was asked. We couldn't go on walks because they are not trained and I created a game in the house for them to get plenty of exercise. I did not like when they got aggressive with each other. This happens, I know. I LOVED the turtle and requested a larger "home" for Samantha as she was super bored = research suggests 8 x her size. The cats were funny and great with all their own personalities. One would get on the fireplace mantel and was naughty, of course, like cats can be. Overall it was A LOT of work and an adventure. I had to water the gardens with recycled water as CA is in a drought and I did this and I learned strawberries need A TON of water. Chiara was super nice, friendly, always responded to my WhatsApp texts (they were abroad) and she has great energy too! I highly recommend this house sit for anyone who wants to experience 10 animals, like a farm, in the city! Thank you for the experience. Beautiful home and setting. Loved the location inside entrance to 17 mile dive. So much to see along the ocean. Dana and Mark made it quite enjoyable. Sweet pets. Lovely garden. Would love to return.
