Judith and her husband were excellent hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house was beautifully warm and comfortable and Daisy was an adorable, loving cat who followed Judy everywhere she went , purring loudly. We would have no hesitation in sitting again if lucky enough to be invited. Thanks to both of you for making us feel welcome
Claire and Nick were so lovely from day one. We had great communication with them from the first video call to introduce ourselves and leading up to the sit. Archie and Dylan were little characters and a pleasure to look after. Dylan was active and Archie was able to keep up with him so we were able to take them out and have adventures. Claire and Nick’s home was lovely to spend time in and they spoilt us with a meal, sadly Leigh had flu the day before so our meal together did not happen as we didn’t want to pass on the bug to them before they flew off. Nick left us the ingredients and we cooked ourselves. It was lovely 😊 We hope to sit again and see the boys soon. Would highly recommend a chance to look after their lovely little fur babies and home. Thanks both. 👍🏻
Amber was great at communicating and you couldn’t ask for an easier dog, Ezra, to care for. So well behaved and easy to walk. Her lovely condo is just a very short walk to the beach and to the Village of Carlsbad and Ezra seems to really enjoy the outings. I highly recommend the sit if you have the opportunity, you will not be disappointed in the lodging’s, the community, Amber, as a hostess, and especially Ezra.
I totally affirm that the feedback from the previous sitters is absolutely true! This sit is ideal. Zina is a great communicator. She send me photos with humorous commentary about Matoke and Kiva before the sit ,so I felt like I knew their personalities. Before leaving, Zina and Keith spent time visiting and showing us the house. That time made me feel like I was staying in a friend's home, rather than an unknown stranger's place. Zina and Keith are warm, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Those traits are reflected in their adorable dogs! Matoke and Kiva are a joy to walk in that beautiful, peaceful, dog friendly neighborhood. They are well-behaved, loving, and sweet. The beautiful, clean house is full of art and treasures from their many travels. The fenced-in backyard has wonderful sitting areas and room for the dogs to play and lounge with you. I highly recommend this sit.
What a fun stay! Alex and Rachel’s home was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance from a park with stunning views, and sandy area with rocks on the river. It’s a great place to look at gorgeous homes and boats on the water, as well as watching the sunset. It’s also in walking distance from a good Italian restaurant that does take out and delivery! We spent most of the long weekend in Alex and Rachel’s backyard. Between the patio, grill, fire pit, and all the space for Honey to run around and play fetch in, you’re sure to have a great time! Alex and Rachel were fantastic hosts! Everything was thought out before our arrival as we were left with a welcome sheet giving us instructions as well as recommendations on things to see and do in the area, an empty dishwasher, new trash bags, empty drawer space and clean sheets in the guest bedroom (with a reading light) and plenty of space in the fridge/freezer. The pets - Honey and Baby Bear, were fun to work with. Honey was such a good dog, very quiet in the house, and outside was great to play fetch with but also happy on her own playing with her ball or chasing insects! She was the sweetest. Baby Bear is very curious, but definitely prefers if you keep your distance from her! If you let her be, she will warm up over time giving you head rubs on your arms and cute little meows. She also loves her treats! To wrap things up here, we would absolutely sit for Alex and Rachel again in the future, as we had a great experience there this time around!
