What a fantastic housesit! Renée, Patrice and their two sons welcomed us warmly as if we were part of their family and we shared an excellent dinner before they left on their trip. They all did their best to make our stay utterly enjoyable. They live in a beautiful “Maison bourgeoise” which is comfortable, clean, and inviting with all the modern amenities you can imagine. It is greatly located in a small town with an excellent bakery, restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and above all, a stunning medieval castle. They provided us with a clear welcome guide about the dog, the house, and suggestions about places we could visit during our stay in Switzerland. During our stay, we had daily contacts with them and we both shared stories and funny pictures of the dogs. Indeed, they took Gyna with them, the younger Korthal dog and we looked after Britta, the elder one, she was a sweet senior and so easy to care for. We loved her to bits. Every evening, I would take her for a walk in the vineyards with a fantastic view of the Leman Lake. I will keep fond memories of these walks together. One of their sons, Guillaume, even treated us with a trip to Maison Cailler chocolate factory and to the town of Gruyères where we ate a fondue together. We were spoilt! We really can’t thank them enough for their hospitality, generosity and kindness. The whole sit was all we had hoped and have found with THS. We would definitely recommend them. And we hope to come and see them again soon!
I had a great time housesitting for Charlotte and looking after Lego & Bomber, they are such fun doggos. The house is particularly cozy and in a great location for the local walks. The doggos have been trained extremely well and it really shows in their recoil, they're so obedient even with strangers. Recommended =)
It was a pleasure to look after Bluebelle and Delilah. Stenying is such a lovely spot and Rachel and Trevor made me feel very welcome. Check in was very easy.
Lovely house to stay at handey to shops and beach for walks. TULLY is a hard case cat ( very loving ) and well behaved. Would sit again anytime.
Paul and Terri were wonderful hosts: Very communicative, friendly, and thorough. Their home and location are gorgeous, particularly the ”catio”. Everything in the house is well stocked and appointed for the sitters’ comfort. The highlight of our sit were the two cats: Ziggy and Zephyr. Ziggy is a cuddle bug and Zephyr is a big talker. Both cats made it very clear to us what their routines were that we were to follow!  Ziggy and Zephyr have a wonderful life with Paul and Terri. They are fabulous pet parents.
I stayed with Nell and Daisy (the delightful little dogs) for two nights, while Glyn was attending a family wedding. Glyn made me feel very welcome and showed me everything I needed to know before he took off. Even though the weather wasn't very good I had a good time and enjoyed my time with Daisy and Nell. It was a very pleasant house sitting experience. Thank you, Glyn!
