What a lovely mother and daughter house sitter. Before we came we sent lots of photos and chat about our lives. They arrived the night before as we had an early flight so got to know each other over dinner, and showed them around. They came with their car so took my dogs on all sorts of adventures, they had the best time, and am sure my puppy was more well trained then when I left them!! They constantly sent me photos and updates on how the animals were (2 cats, 2 dogs and 3 horses). They coped in a crisis when a big stormed tripped our electricity, our fridge freezer packed up on them, they sorted it all out, no complaints just level heads. I would highly recommend them to anyone, the house was all clean and tidy when we got back, and the animals had a holiday too.
Dona and Colin were our first house sitters and we are delighted to report that we were very fortunate to have them. They were pro-active before the sit and helped us with the organisation of the whole thing. They gave us confidence from the start that they knew what they were doing and we were not disappointed. The looked after Penny (our lab) beautifully and dealt with the little things that life throws at you during a sit. The house was immaculate on our return. Brittany was incredible! She took such great care of Freya and the guinea pigs. Our kids were thrilled to get updates while we were gone (when we could, we were off-grid some of the time). We came home to a very clean home and calm, happy animals. She was conscientious about going over housesitting notes and coordinating arrival/departure.
