I guess I just keep getting lucky with my sits, what can I say. Lovely hosts that took me out to dinner the night before they went off on holiday, turns out we have friends in common. Beautiful garden, gorgeous dogs, very comfortable home, and relaxing to watch the chickens (fox watch) enjoying the sunshine. Stayed in touch throughout the sit, and I sent pics of the girls, so daddy’s didn’t miss them too much. Hope I can help out again soon, thanks for your hospitality, it was fun to meet you all xx Jo Enjoying my pressie too x
We enjoyed our time with Pepper, Walnut, Tootsie and the hens. Pepper can be very funny and LOVES his walks and the dog park. He is also very well known throughout the neighborhood. He is still very young and likes lots of attention. The cats warmed up to us quickly and can be cuddly when they want to. The home is in a great location within walking distance to cafes, coffee shops, ice cream, etc. We met several neighbors during our stay and they were all so nice. We would recommend this stay.
This was possibly my favourite house sit I've done so far... Jakk was super welcoming and the most kind and generous host! Her communication was very clear and she made sure I had everything I needed for the entire stay. Her home is in the most beautiful location with views to the bay and a short walk to some really fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants. Her home is stunningly beautiful with everything you could possibly need at hand. Dakota and Luna are just beautiful. They are very loving and affectionate and will snuggle onto you in the evenings watching tv. They are easy to walk and feed, and extremely well behaved. They are genuinely gorgeous creatures! 1000% would sit for Jakk again and would recommend her to anyone considered a sit.
What wonderful people and pets! Kind, generous, interesting family with sweet, silly, and loving pups...what more could you ask for?! Megan, Bruce and their girls invited us for dinner and to meet the pups the night before the sit as they were leaving early the next morning. We really enjoyed our time with them - a wonderful evening with new friends! Daisy and Thandi are absolute gems. So well behaved and fun to be with. Daisy is a funny character, full of personality, has bursts of energy followed by snuggle time in your lap (if invited) or her bed, entertained us with her silly antics, and gave us lots of love. Thandi is a mellow, gentle “big sister” who plays short games of “keep away” with her little sister, loves her ball, relaxing in the sun and being with her people (and is always open to some belly scratches!). Both pups absolutely captured our hearts! 🥰 The house and location are great! Very comfortable, clean home with a comfortable guest room for pet sitters. The landscaped, enclosed backyard is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, playing with the pups, having dinner and/or relaxing in the hammock. We spent a good portion of each day there just enjoying the space and having fun watching the pups. The location provides easy access to the South Bay area. Within less than 1/2 hour drive are Half Moon Bay, lots of parks and open spaces for walks or hikes, Filoli Garden, and much more. If you have an opportunity to care for Daisy and Thandi you’re in for a real treat!
The chalet is beautiful with an amazing view over lac leman and the alps with incredible nature walks on your door step. The chalet is fully equipped and has everything to make your stay warm and comfortable. Dawn is always quick to answer any messages and to help make your stay more comfortable. Her two dogs are lovely always happy to greet you and love going on long walks with you in the pastures and forest. Best suited for animal and nature lovers.
Sherene was a kind, thoughtful, and generous host to me and offered a welcoming space upon my arrival. The apartment is spacious and cute, with a stunning view of Mt. Tom, situated walking distance from a nature preserve and a small downtown area in the other direction. I also loved caring for Mr. Figgy! He is super cute, and also active & adventurous. He gets antsy and vocal when he is bored so he will be well-suited for someone who enjoys giving him quality playtime both indoors and outdoors. I enjoyed staying at Sherene’s and would recommend!
