Toothless was such an east cat to take care of. Jennifer had a clear and through instructions in regards to her care(which was not demanding at all), toothless is a good communicator about her hunger or snack alarm. She is very affectionate and calm. The house was very spacious and clean. The view was fabulous as well. It was a great spot location wise too. Loved being their sitter and would love to do more if opportunity holds! ❤️
Our experience with Nicole (pet parent) and George (pet) was very positive. Nicole was communicative and had detailed written instructions regarding pet and home care/expectations (all very clear and reasonable). The home is in a gorgeous setting: a sunlit living/dining/kitchen area looks out at a fantastic mountain vista; an extended trail is right out the door; a hot tub provides warmth and relaxation on starry winter nights; it is an idyllic environment. George is a sweet, loving, XL play pal who loves to romp in the woods, snuggle, and sleep. Nederland is only 15 minutes away and provides a sweet spot for the occasional meal out and a cool local grocery co-op. The local yoga studio is awesome and provides an inexpensive short-term (10-day) class pass that we took advantage of. An all-around wonderful stay!
Watching Pyro was a treat! He is the sweetest little guy to be around. Pyro will paw at your lap if he wants you to make him a blanket fort and it’s the cutest thing ever. The house sitting tasks were straight forward and easy. Communication with Rebecca and Charles was great. Their home was clean and comfortable and I felt welcomed throughout my stay. Pyro does have a tendency to be vocal at night, but I found that as long as he slept in the living room, everything was perfectly fine. I feel fortunate to have had the chance to house sit for them and I would be happy to it again in the future! Additionally, as someone with sensitivities to mold due to Lyme disease, I can confirm that their home is mold free! 😊
I had a lot of fun with Bonnie, she is an adorable dog. Joanne is friendly and relaxed, and gave me plenty of information on looking after both the house and Bonnie. The house is lovely and comfortable and in a pretty area with plenty of rural walks which I explored with Bonnie. I definitely recommend this pet sit if you have the chance.
We had a wonderful time with Chewing-gum and Ferro in Altavilla. Both dogs are incredibly charming and you can't help but fall in love with them immediately. They are very happy to accept all the pets, and even being brushed! Their shedule is quite straightforward and not too demanding. Both are big dogs, so best suited for people who can manage that. The house is wonderful, with a gorgeous view, lots of space and very well equiped. An easy walk down to the beach for sunsets was such a treat! Finally, Roberto and his family were so welcoming. We loved getting to meet them! They made us feel right at home and Roberto was always quick to respond to any questions.
Evelyn is a great host and easy to communicate with. Her home is lovely and will have everything you need for a nice stay. Ezra is very sweet and friendly, and easy to care for. Highly recommend!
