I loved this sit, and highly recommend it to others! Richard and Amanda were very welcoming and I felt comfortable is their lovely old house. They shared the welcome guide ahead of time, then showed me everything and answered all my questions on my arrival. Once the sit started they were very quick to respond to any texts. William and Harry were such lovely gentlemen. They were so affectionate. Waking up and finding them on the foot of the bed was such a nice way to start the day. They both liked spending time on the catio. The street, with all the beautiful old homes, is surprisingly quiet, considering how close it is to busy Queen Street, where you can find every restaurant or shop imaginable. The entire area is great for walking and admiring the beautiful old homes and tree lined streets. I also loved hanging out on the back deck / catio. Overall, this was a great sit. I miss the cats already.
We had an absolutely fabulous sit for Torrey and Tony looking after their adorable Jack. He is the sweetest and most loveable pup we have sat for to date. He was an absolute pleasure to care for for the week we had him. He walks extremely well right by your side and we took him on some fairly long walks, he loved it. He also enjoyed a good run off his lead too when in the forests. He would love a doggy treat or carrot throughout the day which always made us smile as he would sit and patiently wait knowing he was due a treat when he came back inside from being out for a walk or a wee. Torrey's home is amazing. Such a lovely place to stay and relax in and Torrey had made our own room available to us. The house was warm always and Torrey has generously left us some food and treats. Thank you Torrey. The home is in a great location, a 30 minute train ride to the centre of Paris where we hired bikes for the day and saw all the sites. However, the direct area to the house gives you great opportunities also for local parks and walks with Jack. We were able also explore local towns and villages and sites which were a short drive away. Overall the house is in a great location to explore. We had a great time and would highly recommend this sit to anyone thinking of applying in the future, you will not be disappointed, it was truly a fantastic sit with a superb pup.
It was an absolute pleasure lookIng after Ponjo, Forrest and Peggy. I miss them already! We enjoyed lots of lovely walks on the beach and the dogs went swimming despite the freezing temperatures. Ponjo was a little timid at first but then warmed to me and we made friends. Katie and Richard made me feel very welcome in their lovely home.
This sit was amazing! I was provided with all instructions I needed to be of best service for Desi, the dog, and the house. I enjoyed walking to Balboa Park, Coronado Beach and the Dog Park at Grape St. Desi is very easy to love. She’s an amazing companion. I miss her already. It was a great experience.
