We loved staying at Lucy and Rory's. This was our first housesit through Trusted Housesitters and I have to say, I think we peaked! Rigi is the most gorgeous pup ever to exist - his temperament is lovely, he's so relaxed and even walks pretty well on the lead considering he's so young. Their house is also lovely and they kindly let us use their bbq, garden furniture and so on. The guest room was very comfy with your own en suite. I'd love to look after Rigi again :)

I really enjoyed sitting for Pepper and Reina! Pepper is such a sweet dog with lots of energy who loves his walks and cuddling. Reina may outlive us all! At 19 she knows what she likes, and that is mostly napping, snacking, and a good chin scratch. A beautiful home in a safe neighborhood, I would be very pleased to sit for Jerome again!
Where to start! Our time at The Corner turned out to last for 8 incredible months, where we have experienced and learned over a 1000 things. This whole place has something to it, it’s magical. The old cortijo itself, the vineyards and valley surrounding the place, the most amazing and lovable dogs, Beau, BB and Duna, and not to forget the curious cats, happy chickens and cute ducks. We’ve discovered every corner of, and much different wildlife at The Corner’s acres during our lovely walks with the dogs and we have learned a lot, especially about gardening, harvesting and irrigating. Manni and Andrew are very kind and have a great sense of humor. And they were supportive, helpful and in for a chat or laugh whenever we needed them or when they were around. At moments our stay became quite intense, since we are both perfectionists and could not always find the right balance between our tasks at The Corner and our fulltime jobs. We found it’s a place with a lot of responsibilities, for several hours a day, so you have to be sure this rural challenge meets your other (online) work requirements. Together with the guys we made it work and it has all been worth the effort. The location in Andalucía is just amazing and we think about our time at The Corner a LOT. All that wildlife, the cold plunges in winter, the green valley in spring, our first, but bearable hot Andalusian summer, the silence, the new people we’ve met and of course the cuddles with Duna, BB and Beau. Thank you Andrew and Manni for having us. We can’t wait to pass by again on our motorbike and give you all a BIG hug. We’ll make sure not to take the dirt road again from above 😉 This has been an unforgettable and life changing experience and The Corner will always have a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed our stay with Sabi, she’s an easy going, sweet, protective, playful and treats/food- oriented dogui. Andrea and Christian are really nice people, communication was great and their place is nice, clean, comfortable and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed staying in their apartment, the neighborhood is nice to walk with sabi, near many restaurants and fields to play or exercise. Thank you for making this stay great, for trusting us and hugs to sabi, even though she’s not a fan of hugs haha ( although she will tolerate them because she’s such a loving dog) Fabi and julien :)
