David and I have had great experiences with TrustedHousesitters, and our sit for Lauren was another excellent example of why we enjoy it so much. Lauren was warm and friendly in our conversations when agreeing the sit and making the arrangements, and her home is lovely – she had taken the trouble to make sure that we would be comfortable during our stay, and we were able to explore the lovely local countryside and, in particular, the coast. Peach and Melba were such fun! Inquisitive and chilled, Peach, as Lauren had suggested, was happy to be fussed, but on her terms, while Melba was keen to make friends and we enjoyed evening with her snuggled up on my lap. This was a lovely short stay, thanks Lauren.
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting Amora and Yalla while Justine and Chris were away. Chris and Justine are well-traveled and have lived abroad. This is evident in the decor of the home. They have an impressive book collection as well as artifacts from overseas and family heirlooms. Since my son and I live in the Orlando area, we were able to spend time with Amora and Yalla before the sit took place. I do believe this contributed to us having such a great time together. They are both such sweet dogs. I would sit for them again. ?
Probably our favorite house to live in, lots of space, all on one level. Summerside is just big enough to have everything you need, great spot. Hank is the world's oldest puppy, at 12 years old will still chase his tail and bounce around outside. Once routine was established he was a breeze to look after. Would definitely do again.
What a pleasure this sit was. Pepper (dog), Tilly, and Fergus (cats) were adorable and so much joy to look after. House was cosy and in a great location. Ruth was always contactable if needed. Great stay!
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Robyn and Anthony, who proved to be kindness and hospitality as brilliants hosts. Anthony graciously provided me with a thorough city tour, while Robyn not only showcased her flat, also took me on a delightful walking tour around the common – Freddy's preferred spot. Robyn showed me the workings of the flat with exceptionally clear and detailed instructions. Our communication was consistently excellent, with her attention to my daily updates concerning Freddy. The lovely Fred was a delightful companion, joining me on lots of walks and hikes. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have spent quality time with him in the lovely place of Robyn and Anthony and all the while enjoying myself with the enchanting natural beauty of Tunbridge Wells. My best wishes for all of you!
Lula is a delightful laid-back Lab; except when she has an opportunity to play stick, then she is an all excited 'child'. She travels well and brought smiles as she made many a 'friend' when introduced as a visitor in a senior's center. Her home is an older abode where you might look for an electrical outlet but well equipped, and furnished for casual comfort. Katherina dotes on her pets and they lack for nothing including a healthy diet which she had prepared ahead, making meal preparation an easy task; and treat galore at hand. Communication with Katherina was good, but despite her efforts neither we nor tech support were able to get consistent internet during our short stay; I expect this will be rectified as Katherina had just returned from an extended period away when changes had been made. This is an older, easy walking neighborhood with good parks in both walking and a few minutes driving distances, near the Iconic St. John's bridge. Some neighborhood 'book exchange library' boxes signal a good vibe. There may or may not be off-street parking. Katherina was a generous hostess and Lulu is good company.
