I recommend Cristian without hesitation, we got a sweet photo of our boy every day of our trip and came home to an immaculate apartment.

Some pet parents may be looking for the merest assistance - food in a bowl and a little attention for their pets here and there. That bare minimum is what you will receive with this couple. If that is good enough for you, then great. If not, you should understand that they are not suited to care for your home, and more importantly, your beloved companions. We were quite baffled by how underwhelming these two cared for our pets and our home. Teddy and Bear were fed, yes, but the particulars which were clearly stated in our initial video conversation, and are further detailed in the manual, were quite obviously not followed. Having grown up with dogs for 20 years and had the pleasure of cats as pets/companions for more than 25 years, it was quite obvious by their behavior (particularly Teddy’s) that the care we had requested of them was overlooked. The “plant person” in Lucinda was definitely not present either. We had left clear (in pictures and text messages) which of the plants needed care over the week. Random plants we had NOT requested to be watered or cared for had been (leading to overwatering) and others we had requested were completely neglected, some of which died (a few on our balcony). The respect of our kitchen was completely absent. We were quite taken aback to find dirty dishes, bowls, and glassware put right back in the cupboards, unwashed, stained, littered with food, wine, drink, even lip residue, as if they had been rinsed with water and just thrown back in. It would be impossible to have put them away in such a condition without completely neglecting soap and a dish sponge. It was really, pretty nasty. Throughout our time away, we asked how things were going and from the beginning tried to give reminders about the particularities (because they were late on arrival and we could not see them before we had to leave) to which we were constantly responded to with “I know.” They clearly did not know, or did not care, and used our home like a bachelor pad, trying to clear things up at the last minute, as if we had no awareness of, or insight into, our own home, pets, or plants.

Andrea and Flor looked after Kenji and our house for nine days this summer. They arrived a day early at our request to meet Kenji and learn about his care. They were very good with our dog and we could tell they were experienced and cared about animals. They had good communication before and during the stay. We came home to a happy dog and a very tidy house. Thank you Andrea and Flor!

Julia is truly a five star house sitter. From the beginning, she communicated well. On the day of arrival, she was punctual, efficient and friendly. Our cats and the plants were very well looked after and the house was left in a very clean condition. Thank you Julia. I highly recommend Julia to anybody.

Giovanna and Alfredo sat for us last year and we invited them to come back this year as we and Poppy our golden retriever liked them so much. Poppy was unwell during their stay and we can never thank them enough for the care and love they showed her. They are exceptional human beings and we can recommend them wholeheartedly.

It was a delight to have Deb come and stay and take care of our dog Rocket. She was friendly, welcoming and Rocket seemed very happy when we returned. Our home was well taken care of and she sent us updates, we recommend her! A very open, bright person!

Josefa and Bruno were very kind and caring with our pet and took good care of our home.

Matteo was very communicative, flexible and open. He looked after our cat Grape and took great care of her and our home. It kept us updated regularly and communicated clearly and in a straightforward manner. We enjoyed getting to know him a little before we left and felt very comfortable leaving him in charge. He made sure Grape was happy during the sit and even enquired about her well-being after he left. He kept the house very well and we come home to a clean and tidy home. Would be very happy to have him look after Grape and the house again.

Anyone would be beyond lucky to have Maria as a house/pet sitter! She is extremely kind and had such a positive attitude before and during her stay. Maria kept me updated with daily pictures and videos to let me know how my Weasley was doing, and I could tell how much they bonded which speaks to the excellent care and attention she provided. She was quick to respond to messages and did not hesitate to reach out if she had any questions. Maria is so welcome back to Rome anytime!!

Natali & Amit did a very good job and my cats have been treated very well. I have found them in good health and quite happy. Also the apartment was in good conditions and nothing bad did happen. Very a minor point: they could have used the vacuum a little more, but by no mean the apartment was dirty.

Bernarda and Fernando were wonderful to work with! They're an adorable couple who took great care of our apartment and kitty. They were both very responsive to texts over WhatsApp before and during their stay, sending updates daily, which gave us peace of mind. I provided a lot of information and instructions beforehand and they handled everything great. When we got back, they had left the place clean, and our kitty was very relaxed. It takes him a bit of time to warm up to strangers and they were patient with him over the first day or so, not expecting him to be cuddly at first. I would have them back anytime!

Both Hanna and Wojciech were fabulous from the first video call. Exceedingly diligent with keeping in touch throughout the first booking. They both spent a large amount of time staying with Zoey and making sure she was well taken care of. I came home to a very spoiled and happy dog. It was a pleasure to have them here. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing care for their pet. Super
