Santo was well cared for in every way and we arrived home to a happy dog. Our home was also perfectly clean. Salyna and Iain sent lots of pics and a video, which is so important to ease our minds and help us relax while away. You couldn’t ask for better house/pet sitters.
I had the best time taking care of Ollie and Stella. Denise did a great job preparing me and making me feel very welcome. Ollie is full of energy but is also a big, goofy cuddlebug. Stella is beautiful and gentle and so sweet. The condo complex has beautiful pools and jacuzzis and also is in a neighborhood with other amenities. I would love to take care of them again anytime!
What a treat! Sitting for Jill & Michael was a beautiful experience. I took care of Dixie, who is a friendly and playful older dog. Her care was easy and fun. Their home is a quick drive to Pacific Spirit Park where there are plenty of dog-friendly and leash-optional trails among beautiful coastal forest. Working remotely was great, the house is comfortable and very well equipped. I took advantage of their backyard for playtime - Dixie has the absolutely cutest ball-chasing routine! The welcome guide and pre-sit conversations were complete and forthcoming, I was confident handling any of her older-age-related health concerns which might come up, and Jill was available while they were gone for the questions I had. I would care for Dixie again in a heartbeat.
We highly recommend this sit as Andrew's home is very comfortable and clean. The yard/gardens are very easily maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It is very handy by car to the supermarket and just a little further on to the main strip of shops in Kallangur as well as being close to the major shopping centre, North Lakes. Andrew is such a nice man and very easy to deal with and was contactable at all times.
I has an amazing time with Maisie in Squamish, Jill received us in her home and explained us everything we needed to know, and she was also in contact with us in case anything was needed. Her place is well located, has everything you could need and the views from the window are amazing!! Now, Maisie, she’s GREAT!!! Such a good dog, she’s well behaved and low maintenance, you will love her!!! Thanks Jill for trusting us with your home and doggie, I hope to see you both in the future :)
We spent a wonderful week with two lovely pussy cats in a big ( actually two in one ) rambling house full of character and overflowing with books. We met Moya and David prior to the sit so we could discuss what our duties were. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed playing with Penny and Denny. Although these cats were related, they had very different characters. Thanks Moya and David.
Overall, a wonderful experience. K and B's home was very comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed for our stay. From working to sleeping, from cooking/eating to swimming in the pool in the gorgeous back yard, to playing with Alcito and our dog Archie, we enjoyed our stay. The back yard garden was a nice plus, with tomatoes, figs, blueberries, and lemons all in season. Alcito and Archie quickly became friends, and we enjoyed walks, playtime, rides in the car, and lots of snuggles. Alcito became my shadow, and I was happy to be his favorite buddy while his family was away. Karen communicated frequently enough to answer our questions and provide instructions. We would happily return to this comfortable, beautiful home with its gracious hosts and lovable dog. We miss him already!
