We had the most amazing sit at Charlotte's. She is so kind and sweet! She made us feel at home from the moment we got to her house. So attentive and thoughtful that we are definitely going to miss her. And what to say about Rafa! He's the cutest boy ever! So cuddly and sweet. Super curious and eager to play and explore, always under our watchful eye since he's still little and learning about the world. Always looking for a lap to take a nap, he's the best companion. We really loved looking after him and we'd go back in a heartbeat. Please, don't hesitate to sit for Charlotte and Rafa if you have the chance. They're both amazing!
Lydia’s house sit was a pleasure to do! Lydia is lovely, leaves simple instruction and the little kitties Kimchee and soju are very well behaved!
We had a wonderful time at Claire and Pauls house. It was our first sit with 3 dogs and to take care of Baxter, Buddy and Alice was just pure joy. The dogs where so friendly and we could do so many walks in the beautiful forest surroundings. There children have to guinea pigs which was easy to handle and the cat Fuzzy was a fun caracter that was living his own life but liked to sleep by the fire place! The house is easy so get used to and we enjoyed the beautiful southfacing veranda for many lunches in the winter sun of Provence. We was feeling very welcomed when arriving to dinner and got all the information about the house and the pets on paper. Also things to explore in the sourrondings. But most of all we just liked to stay home and walk the dogs and read books! We would gladly come back if there is a need and we have the possibility! All the best from Erik and Helena
This housesit was wonderful, thoroughly recommend. The dogs are an absolute delight, so sweet natured and loving right from the start. Unfortunately we didn't get to see them on top physical form due to current injuries but they still enjoyed their short walks daily. We will miss our regular cuddles with Joyce and Peggy! Having lived in the neighbourhood a few years ago, it was a real pleasure to revisit. George and Jeremy's home is in a fantastic location for access to the city centre but also to the more local parks and cafes. The house is so tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We didn't get to meet George or Jeremy prior to or after the sit, yet communication throughout was spot on and they'd left a very helpful printed guide to reference - this level of organisation and trust from the hosts was so appreciated and exactly what trusted housesitters is about! Thanks for having us :)
We enjoyed 3 glorious days staying at Jane & Iain’s property outside Keith. Their dates had changed slightly so we arrived the day before, to be welcomed by both and shown around their very comfortable home. Dante and Josh are low maintenance fuss free cats. Very affectionate and enjoyed sleeping on our bed. Lovely to sit outside to see birds feeding and deer wondering around. We had time to explore the area, which is beautiful, plus booking a must do Whisky tour. Jane and Iain were very helpful and a delightful couple. Would highly recommend this sit.
Ramen was a delight to care for - she's sweet, clearly loves being around humans and really easy to handle. Frequent walks and regular feeding times makes Ramen the happiest and once you get in a good long walk & some food she's going to be happily pooped out lying next to you wherever you are. That aside Jay's apartment is beautiful furnished and extremely clean + well kept, loved staying in with Ramen and enjoying a little peace. It's located in a very central location for travellers and close to all amenities and transport links you'd need. Communication was 100% - both Jay and Philipp will provide very detailed briefings on what is needed and are very responsive if you have any questions. There's a real generousity in the way they arrange and communicate and I'll definitely be happy to sit Ramen again x
