Looking after Polly was a delight. She is such a dear soul. Extremely well behaved and fun too. I felt privileged, both to be looking after her and to be staying in such a charming Seventeenth Century home. Christine was kind and straightforward in the handover and general arrangements and was a pleasure to liase with. The neighbours were most friendly and made me feel very much at home. And to be in walking distance of all the shops and wonderful walks by the river was so easy. Needham Market has several fascinating antique shops too. This proved to be an expensive but highly enjoyable deviation Needham Market and Polly is now on my World Map. Thank you Christine.
The family welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything we needed to know. Georgie is a very lovable, intelligent and sensitive dog who gave us no problems at all. We enjoyed the time very much and miss Georgie already. We felt very comfortable during the whole sit. The area is very quiet, safe and you have everything you need nearby.
I spent a very comfortable week in Ruth and Donald’s home in Manhattan. Their spacious townhouse features lots of beautiful tile and woodwork. Located on a residential street, I found it to be very quiet, especially in the bedrooms at the back of the house. With trains and buses a short walk away, it was easy to get to Central Park and downtown. And the neighborhood is full of stores and restaurants. The cats Natasha and Boris were a breeze to care for. Boris sought attention regularly, but it took a few days for Natasha to settle in my lap. Ruth and Donald were very organized. We met up the first morning for the handoff. They had a detailed welcome guide with all the information one could need. All in all, I felt very lucky to find such an amazing sit in a convenient area of Manhattan. I’d certainly recommend it and would definitely return!
If you’d like to experience life in a Turkish mountain village with great views, real fires, huge softy dogs, an ancient legendary cat, outdoor living & plenty of walks then this is it! You need to be an early riser, well organised & self sufficient. Two decent walks daily plus some ball games for Bella & Dillon, both big dogs are soft and amenable to people and most dogs unless pushed. As in most of Turkey, there are a lot of strays in Yeşilüzümlu so just choose a walking route that avoids them. Two different meal plans for the pooches (one raw diet with some meat chopping and planning ahead involved & one conventional). Jack the cat will happily eat all day and every day bless him and loves a bit of cheese or tuna to go with his cans. If you’re super honoured he’ll sit on your lap in the evenings. As it was winter we needed a fire every day in the soba which kicks off good heat in the lounge. We cooked dinners on it too! Rebecca is a strong communicator and a generous host who responded to all our comms quickly. A month of real Turkish life thanks guys.
Jodi was an absolute pleasure to meet! She was very sweet and accommodating throughout this entire process, alleviating any worries one may have watching over someone’s dog. Charlie was absolutely incredible also. He never turned down an invitation to play and is extremely well mannered in new places around unfamiliar faces. I would recommend this sit to anyone who has the opportunity to come across it.
I enjoyed my time in Tahoe Donner looking after Kristi's and Chris's wonderful doggies. I easily bonded with Beau and Bear and enjoyed taking them on their walks and hanging out with them. Communications were easy and I appreciated the hospitality from Kristi and Chris and staying in their lovely mountain home. I definitely recommend this house sit and would love to come back someday.

We recently went away for our summer holiday and were so impressed with the care our dog Gus received from Lucy, Elaine and Janice. They did a pre visit to get to know Gus, and Janice did a fabulous job looking after him while we were away and kept us up to date the whole time. Amazing service, we went away for 10 days to Italy and knew our dogs would be looked after perfectly. We were kept updated by Lucy while away with messages/photos of our dogs and they looked like they were having a great time. She took them on daily walks and to dog parks off their own back. When coming home our house was left clean and in order which is great when coming back from a long holiday. Would highly recommend their service and will be using them again for sure.

We Love Pets came to the rescue when I needed some specific support for my older, sometimes grumpy dog whilst we went on hol. We are often cautious of who meets our dog as if they don’t listen to our requests when introductions take place, it could result in her being snappy. Elaine and Linda were able to come and meet our dog and 100% listened to what needed to happen for the introductions to be positive. This was then the foundation for a loving relationship with Linda to be built! Linda was calm, kind and caring and very clearly an animal lover. So very gentle with our dog and did things on her terms. When away, I felt fully assured our dog was in very safe and caring hands. They were flexible and accommodating with visit days and times. Wouldn’t hesitate to contact again and can fully recommend to anyone else who may be considering We Love Pets. Their input and care was the difference between us being able to go on a family holiday and not. Communication has been great throughout with responsive messaging. Thank you!
I’ve used them a couple of times now & im really pleased with the service. One very good cat who loves her cuddles each visit. One very shy cat who they worked with to gain her trust & get her to come out for head rubs Getting daily photos on holiday stops me missing them as much & gave me reassurance that they were happy & not missing me! Absolutely brilliant kennels. I have left my dog here three times now and have been really pleased each time. My dog can be a little difficult sometimes, but the staff here have always put my mind at ease and assured me that it's no problem. They put picture updates on their Facebook group regularly, which also really helps. I would wholeheartedly recommend Laburnum to anyone who is nervous about leaving their dog/cat as nothing is too much trouble 😊 Here is one of the pictures I was sent when I was on a recent trip.

Not happy at all with thse kennels. Took my dog there for two weeks,picked her up Saturday she has lost weight,smells of urine,and doesn't look like they have been giving Daisy her own food. She never has dyareha on this food but has had nothing but since we picked her up. Daisy has eaten loads since been back home which is not like her. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE PUTTING MY DOG IN THERE AGAIN.Oh and in answer to your reply about Ezra he is not my dog and are not in the same household. His owner did mention that he had lost weight also

Took my dog to be groomed at Spuddy moo's groom room. Fantastic job,and my dog was really happy to be there. Which is very unusual for her. She's always been terrified of the groomers. I loved how Jess made a fuss of her when she went in,really put her at ease.
Can't recommend Nina, Jackie, Deb, Carol and the gang any more! They're amazing and always look after our little Freddie so much so that he gets super excited when he knows he's going to stay with them for a few weeks!
Would recommend. Dogs are treated with individual care and nothing is too much trouble. Caring and helpful staff and a lovely location. Dogs are treated as family, and as my little dog is prone to getting into a mess, (lots of curly hindquarters fur for poo to stick in!) he always comes home freshly showered and with eyes sparkling, which says a great deal about Laburnum, because as a seriously abused rescue dog from his past life he was not easy to handle or win over, but they did it.

Excellent service. I wouldn't leave my 2 old boys anywhere else. Debbie, Nina and the whole team take such good care of them which is evident by how excited and happy my dogs are to see everyone when I drop them off. Whilst I'm away I receive regular updates and photos which is very reassuring. When I return to pick them up the staff always have a chat and describe my dogs characteristics so well that I know they have spent time with them. My dogs are returned to me in the same condition that I left them in, clean, well fed and happy, who could ask for more?

We left our two Guinea pigs Cucumber and Pretzel for a week at Bramble Lodge and the process from start to finish was easy and pleasant. Julie was very helpful and friendly with brilliant communication both Guinea pigs came back well cared for and happy we couldn’t of asked for more! Kelly and family looked after our very spoilt and treasured lab Harvey for us during the past 2weeks, this was the first time we had used them. He hasn’t had a lot of interaction with a lot of dogs, but he has loved being with Kelly’s dog Kaiser and made other pals as well. I was sent regular updates while on our cruise! Our 2 babies have just returned from 2 weeks stay at Doggy Digs, first time away from us for our youngest, first time in 3 years plus for our older dog. Doggy digs (@hunt street castleford) offers your pooches 5 star treatment. Kelly has looked after all of our rescue dogs including a malamute husky, staffy and labrador. We know upon leaving that they will be looked after, cared for and treated as one of her own! Amazing service!

My dog stayed for 6 nights recently. Having never been away from us in 9 years we were quite anxious. Staff were amazing with him from the moment we dropped him off to picking him up a week later. The updates via text and photos reassured us that he was in safe and loving hands and he’d settled into his new home. Can’t recommend this place enough!
My dog stayed recently for 6 days. He is normally an anxious pup with new people/surroundings but he was made to feel at home and looked after by staff members. The updates (pictures attached) showed he loved his time away and made me feel better knowing he was settled too. Would recommend and use again!
Cannot explain how good this place is. We were very wary about leaving our dog after our first experience with another place but could immediately tell the difference when we visited and at drop off. They clearly all love dogs and that is reflected in the way my dog was cared for. We received daily photos, daily texts and they even said they didn’t want us to pick her up as they all loved her. Our dog came home so happy and I now feel so much more comfortable going away knowing she will be looked after so well next time. The price for the quality is also amazing.
Darrington Dog Boarding hold a very special place in our hearts. They also own Pontefract Dog Rescue which is where we found our fur baby Hela. We were apprehensive leaving her in boarding Kennels but we really didn't have to worry. The same amazing staff look after the boarders as well as the rescue dogs. Hela actually enjoys going which is just amazing news for us. We would totally recommend these wonderful people 💜
We have been using Darington Boarding Kennels for the past 3 years for our Bedlington x Whippet and our Whippet. There is no reason for us to use anywhere else, the experience is always very positive, customer service is spot on but most import is that the dogs are truly cared for. We get photos sent to us of the dogs and updates during their stay. I can’t allocate anything other than 5 gold ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have used other kennels but none as good as this one. My dogs loved being there. The photos sent to me showed my girls having a fabulous time, there faces showed they were very happy. Thank you to all the staff for looking after them.

Kali loves going to visit Tracey and Jayne. She runs down the drive eager to join Finley the lovely Labrador. Kali has made many friends on her visits and walks. Whether staying for a day or longer we get lovely photos and updates. Tracey and Jayne really care about your pets. Understanding and considering their individual characters and needs. It’s so reassuring to know your precious pet is with such a caring professional and lovely couple.
I'm so happy that my dog is now a pack member at Cozy Canines. Tracey and Jayne are amazing with Gus my 3 year old Pug, and although he's not been going long his tail wags and he gets excited the second I say, "are you going to see Finley" I get lovely pictures of Gus having fun, playing games, going on walks with the other dogs, and settled on the sofa for a nap. It really is a home from home. Tracey and Jayne are wonderful with all the dogs, giving them lots of attention and love, and have a lot of good advice too. They even sent out valentines messages from the dogs which was so lovely. I know Gus will be well looked after and loved whilst I'm on holiday which makes me feel so much better about leaving him. Cannot recommend Cozy Canines enough and Jayne and Tracey have been amazing with Poppy our 4 year old Fox Terrier. Poppy was recently welcomed as full fledged pack member and we love all the photos and updates we receive whilst she is there. Jayne and Tracey are really friendly and professional and from the introduction session alone we knew we had made the right choice with Cozy Canines. We wanted somewhere that Poppy would be comfortable, have the attention and stimulation she needs, nice long walks and be a home away from home when we need dog care. This ticked all the boxes and was very impressed with the process we went through to ensure we were making the right choice for Poppy. We are so happy to be part of the Cozy Canines family and cannot thank Jayne, Tracey and Finley enough for being brilliant when they have looked after Poppy :)
I’m so so so happy that my rescue dog Castor has been accepted as a pack member! He instantly loved their house when we first visited, and I always enjoyed getting photos of his big smiles when he’s staying with Cozy Canines. I know he’s in good hands every time he’s with them, and it’s so nice to see him playing with all the other lovely dogs they care for as well. Jayne and Tracey have been so helpful throughout the journey - Castor is a nervous boy and they were very patient with him, giving him the time and space to settle with them. It’s very clear to me that they’re very knowledgeable with dog behaviours and they take in the right number of dogs each day to make sure that they all get the proper care and attention.
Very professional service and lovely people that you can 100% trust to care for your family pet. We receive lots of updates when our dog stays with Jayne and Tracey and you really do feel that your pet is part of their family. Our dog receives lots of attention when she is with them, goes for lovely big walks, plays lots of fun games, has snuggles on the sofa………and is absolutely shattered when she comes home!
We could not recommend Cozy Canine enough, the service they offer is exceptional. Our cocker spaniel, Loki, has been going to the exclusive daycare sessions for a couple of months now and she absolutely loves it. Throughout the day we get updates and photos from their daily adventures. Cozy Canine stands out for me because unlike other daycares Tracey, Jayne and Finley met with us to fully understand our needs and check that Loki would fit into the pack. It makes us feel very comfortable to know that everyone who is part of the pack has gone through this process so can trust that you are leaving your puppy in a safe environment. Our 1 year old cocker spaniel has been going to Cozy Canines for a few months now and she absolutely loves it. As a lockdown pup it was hard to imagine finding somewhere she would be happy being away from us, but Cozy Canines have exceeded all our expectations. They are so friendly and clearly care about the dogs as if they were their own. It was really important to us that Nugget went somewhere loving and in a home environment where she could get plenty of attention like she does at home and that’s exactly what Cozy Canines provide 🥰 we always get lots of photos and updates too! We truly couldn’t recommend Cozy Canines enough! They are absolutely brilliant, and our boy always looks forward to spending a day or two with Finley and the gang. We have always had a nervousness leaving our boy as he can be quite anxious, but we knew right from the start that Cozy’s was the right place - they build a trusting relationship with not just your dog, but also with you, and they really take the time to understand your dog and their individual personalities, and how you care from them at home, which is brilliant. They also provide some really great advice which my wife and I are always grateful for. Something we really love are the updates throughout the day on what our boy has been getting up to and seeing how happy he is in them with Finley and the gang. I’m sure if our boy could talk, he’d say I’d like to go to Cozy’s every day :) You know Cozy’s really care and your dog is in such safe hands every time. Thank you Tracey, Jayne and Finley, we are so glad we found you, and don’t know what we’d do without you :)
Tracey, Jayne and Finley are amazing. I can not recommend them enough. I was initially apprehensive about leaving Trudy anywhere without me (I think I had separation anxiety, not Trudes!) but they are so professional and thorough. They have all the appropriate documents (ask to see the folder!) and more importantly got to know Trudy and made sure it would work before she was able to join the pack. They really care. It’s about quality time for the dogs in their care, not quantity. They have thought of everything. I really look forward to the pics and updates of Trudy’s day away. She always looks like she’s having a blast. Loads of enrichment and love. She practically drags me down the drive when dropping her off!! I trust them implicitly and I don’t say that lightly. The baked goods are a cheeky bonus 😅
Cookie our 7 year old Cavachon absolutely loves this place. Sometimes I think she prefers to be there! However how good is that to be away whilst in effect your dog (one of the family) is enjoying their little vacation. I couldn’t recommend more highly the whole service offered by an amazing business. Well done guys you have an incredible set up and really do a great job.

Really happy to recommend Simon and Paula up at sandgate, I've had dogs all my adult life and always relied on family and friends to look after them whilst away. When I found out that the dogs would be walked 4 times a day In their own woodland it sealed the deal for me and made a long decision easier to make. The dogs were treated lovely and seemed really well looked after from drop off to collection and didn't hold a grudge against me thank god 😂. A lovely family-run business. We've been sending our dog here for years and she always comes away happy and tired from her day playing with the other dogs.
The lady who works there is nice but the man there should be locked up. My dog came away from being around him both unsupervised and whimpering in the “heated kennels”. Absolutely unprofessional and not recommended. The man there is extremely hostile and I shall never be using their services ever again. Dog came back terrified of him which is totally out of my dogs personality. The photos displayed on Google are not what it is, yes there are woods nearby where the dogs may be walked but they spend 95% of their time in a urine covered concrete shack with not one toy in sight. NOT DOG FRIENDLY. You’re better off paying more money for a doggy day care if you care at all for your dog, this is abysmal.

I cannot be anymore grateful for the quality of service I received after taking my two rabbits for some much needed grooming. The knowledge, professionalism and care shown was 11/10. I wish to say a personal thankyou, both from me and my partner and I will definitely be re-booking in due course.
This is the 3rd time Jane has looked after my hamster Bertie and the first two times seem to have been fine but I cannot even describe how upset and angry I am when I have returned home with him this time after leaving him for just over 2 weeks. There was mountains of wee in the corners and his litter tray, his bed was dirty and all wet with mould at the bottom. The water was stagnant and had scum in it. My poor baby has been living in these conditions. I wouldn’t normally do this but this is a living creature who needs and deserves the best care and this was not it.

My treasured pet rabbits have stayed here on numerous occasions. I know while they are there they are in extremely safe hands with masses of rabbit knowledge and experience.
