Derek
Derek & Shirley were fantastic hosts and made us both feel welcome and right at home upon our arrival the evening before the sit officially started.

Upon arrival, they showed us around their wonderfully home and introduced to our “hosts" Molly & Bella. Derek had kindly put together a comprehensive Welcome Pack which was extremely helpful and a resource we referred to over the course of the sit.

Arriving the evening before allowed us to head out on one of the girls favourite walks with Derek and upon returning home Shirley had prepared a wonderful meal for us to sit down to.

Molly & Bella stole our hearts! They both have wonderful personalities and enjoy human company, not to mention their walks and their food!! Coming down each morning to one of Molly's smiles is a memory that will last a lifetime.

They both LOVE their cuddles and enjoy settling down for a nap curled up at your feet when you sit down to read or watch tv.

Derek and Shirley have a wonderful home which is located in a quiet lane a short drive from the village of Capel. Their house offers beautiful views of the countryside from the sun room and garden and there are numerous walks right on your doorstop.

Their home is a 10 minute drive to Dorking which has a high street full of an interesting mix of independent shops, antique shops, cafes, a great butchers shop and Waitrose, Lidl, Sainsburys and Tesco Express .

And in the other direction, you are 15-20 mins away from the larger town of Horsham which has lots more shops, cafes and restaurants.

We feel in love with the area as there is plenty to do, and we even enjoyed a day trip to the beach with the girls (and boy, did they enjoy their swim!!).

This was an amazing and memorable sit and we hope to have the opportunity to do it all again in the future.

Lynda
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent house sit for Lynda and Mark. Cleo and Lachlan were an absolute delight to care for. They were gentle, happy, interesting and fun to be around. Their home is very neat, comfortable, spacious and set in a peaceful and quiet area. They are a warm and caring family and we highly recommend them to other house sitters.

Maggie
Maggie was a communicative and kind from the start. Her home had a bright, airy ambiance that made it feel comfortable and welcoming. We greatly enjoyed taking in the amazing view of the bay and SF skyline from the balcony, and were also able to admire the views comfortably from within the house. Maggie's cats were a joy to play with and get to know during our stay. It was easy to access the freeway and head into SF. Overall, we had a wonderfully pleasant experience at Maggie's home.

Diana
Guapo and Meryl's place is located in the "Assels", a lovely green island between the meanders of the Leie river and the Ringvaart canal. The house has a lot of natural light and opens up to a big garden.

Diana wrote a very clear and well structured manual on about everything we needed to know about the sit. At the end of our stay, we met her and found out she was a very friendly open hearted person.

Guapo is a friendly, assertive dog who comes to sit close to you on the coach quite readily. Meryl is his shy counterpart, although she's the one who shares the parent's bedroom.

We stayed for one week in Dawn's super chalet, set beautifully in the Swiss Jura mountains. where we cared for Snow and Terra, her 2 Huskies.
Dawn was very welcoming when we met the evening before her departure when she gave us very clear instructions for the dogs and the chalet.
Terra and Snow are large, strong, energetic, intelligent, and look very striking indeed. Both are strong willed and need to be kept on lead whilst walking but they are also well trained esp around their food, fully obeying to the commands "wait", "sit", "eat!"
They are indefatigable and hiking with 2 (very happy) Huskies through the beautiful wintry forests and meadows of the Jura, and enjoying the luxury of Dawn's new chalet was a unique experience that we will never forget, thanks Dawn!

I had a lovely stay with Dante in his sweet home.
Dante is fun and affectionate, he loves to curl up with you and at the right time of day, (I took him early morning or evening) , Dante will get a good trot on when he's walked. Dante is very obedient, and doesn't pull on the lead.
If you walk up towards Frizington there are fantastic views of the mountains.
The house which has everything you need, is well located for visiting the beautiful area and there are some great views. Only a short distance from Ennerdale Water where I visited most often when Dante was having his snooze, lake, walks and springs and a great cafe in the village, The Gathering.
