Frank is a very sweet and funny dog who loves company. Natalie made me feel very welcome to the house and we were very comfortable there.
Benny Ray, Kim and Barry were so accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They even invited our goldendoodle, Willie to join us. Benny Ray and Willie became fast friends, walking, playing and napping together. Benny Ray is easy going and very sweet. He often eased himself between us on the sofa looking for cuddles and a snooze. There are wonderful trails nearby where we would walk the boys and enjoy the beautiful natural landscape. The home is lovely, comfortable and has awe-inspiring views of the mountains from every window. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets from the hot tub in the evening. Kim and Barry were gracious and welcoming. Their instructions regarding Benny Ray and their home were clear and their list of restaurants and things to do in the area were most welcome. We would love to care for sweet Benny Ray and this lovely home again and again!
While the home is in a great area, very large and has great views…the stars of this sit are the dogs. Thor and Russel won our hearts. They will follow you around everywhere and thrive on love and affection. We moved their beds into our bedroom so they could be certain that we weren’t far away. Adorable. There are two guest bedrooms/bathrooms to choose between. The cats are very easy as they have a self feeder/watering system. We were able to pet them a few times, but we really had to work at it. The chickens require the typical care of clean water, clean the coop, refill their grains and gather the eggs daily. There was a lot of garden/flower watering as we were there during the warmer season and the watering system hadn’t been installed yet. Janet and Jay were generous hosts. We had a lovely dinner together upon our arrival and they provided us with some gift certificates that allowed us to explore the quaint town. We rode our electric bikes to/from town and the waterfront. Overall, a nice pet sit.
What a wonderful place to look after two beautiful dogs. Maisie and Bonnie are both in top condition and could outwalk us so be prepared for lots of beach and forest walks. They are very obedient and sociable dogs so running around in and out of the water for a ball is one of their favourite pastimes. But so is lying in the sunny garden or cuddling upon the couch. Hayley was very communicative and friendly, greeting us the night before she left for her short break. Her instructions were clear and well understood. Hayley’s home is an oasis with everything a sitter would need. The bed is comfortable and the shower room is next door with a fantastic powerful shower. There is a couple of comfortable places to sit both inside and out in the sunny garden. We did see buses on the approach road to the estate but I don’t know where they go or how long it would take to get into town. The walking tour round Christchurch is a must. Very informative and of course the beach is only a five minute walk away with lots of forest walks close by as well. Fantastic sit and I would recommend it to anyone.
We recently had the opportunity to housesit for Priyasha, caring for her golden retriever, Hailey. It was a positive experience. Hailey, who prefers long walks over playing catch, was a pleasure to take care of. We enjoyed our three daily walks to a nearby park that includes a dog-friendly area. The apartment is located about 30 minutes from Luxembourg City center via the free public transport system, making it easy to explore the area. Hailey is a calm dog indoors, often resting, and loved getting pets. Priyasha had organized Hailey's meals well, with everything prepared and frozen in advance, which made feeding times straightforward. This housesit was a great experience for us and we already miss Hailey.
I had a really enjoyable time looking after the very sweet cat Figgy for Lesley and Grahame. I would recommend this sit to all Pet Sitters out there! They have a lovely house in Barnt Green which is very close to the train station and local shops for all you need. Lesley and Grahame made me feel very welcome, providing lunch when I first arrived, leaving food, yummy home baked bread! and also kindly providing me with lots of reading material about their area and further afield. When they left I was comfortable in the ins and outs of pet care for Figgy for the duration and house/ garden care. Thankyou Lesley and Grahame. Kind Regards Nicky
