Baloo and Barney are both characters, and we loved looking after them in Torquay. Baloo will just reach out and grab you if you walk by and he wants some attention, which is a good laugh. He also makes a very stylish sleep cap!

Taking Barney for walks on the beach was such a great way to start the day. He loves people and other dogs, and you’ll honestly get tired just watching him run. When you’re back at the house, he’s all cuddles.

Dani and Luke’s place is both modern and comfortable with helpful WFH setups. The house is walking distance to the beach and several dining options. There was a great farmer’s market Dani directed us to on Saturday morning and live music options for the evening.

We had a great time with the boys, and we look forward to seeing them again if dates align! This sit gets an easy recommendation. :)

Tuna and Noosa are some of the most easy-going pets I've cared for! Tuna the cat is a big, handsome fluffball. He semi-ignored me the first day but soon after became very comfortable and pleaded with me to pet him . . . which I gladly accommodated. He waited for me to sit on the couch each night so he could assume his position on my lap. Noosa the dog is an older lady and the true definition of the word "sweetheart." I originally only planned to sit for Jordan's cat, however her dog sitter's plans changed at the last minute so I agreed to take care of Noosa too. I'm glad I did. She's super well-behaved, a lovely companion and easy to love.

Jordan's apartment is in a great part of SF at the top of Nob Hill, (the nobbiest part of Nob Hill). I was really comfortable there. It's light and airy and rather spacious by SF standards. The apartment's on the second floor so up two flights of stairs. It's insulated well from the neighbor's noise. It faces the street which gives it good light, although you might hear some street noise. There's a coin-operated laundromat on the corner. There's a small backyard which is pretty exceptional in SF and was super convenient for letting Noosa out first thing in the morning without having to leash and walk her.

Jordan herself was very considerate and super communicative. She left detailed instructions for me and was very responsive while away. I suspect her easy-going, pleasant nature is why her pets are laid-back. I'd definitely recommend this sit. Thanks for a great sit, Jordan!

1. Home and location: the house is in a gorgeous location and I truly enjoyed being so secluded. Even house is rural it has all modern amenities. I loved the fact that you can sleep doors wide open (Friedie-the-Gentle Giant will keep the guard). The road (2km) from the village to the house got my stress levels high as you can barely fit a big SUV on a road, the gradient of the road is most of a time 30% and the road is in a poor condition in places. Basically, anywhere you drive you are surrounded by the most beautiful mountaneous scenery and 30min from beaches.

2. Diddi, Friedie an Stupa are 6 out of 5 star pets! We had a fitness week with the doggy ladies. On most days we would do a half a day trip to somewhere new. I loved the fact that Diddi, the smaller dog, would secure the spot on a back seat and the Gentle Giant would have to squeeze herself on a floor. We always found wonderful hiking trails with no other humans around. The doggy ladies were very well behaved and truly a pleasure to have around both on trails and at home. Stupa grew closer by a day, even being an independent cat.

3. As far as Pegasus is concerned I had false expectations that Bianca was looking for some experience rider (I have 30+ years riding experience) to excercise Pegasus, but she actually have a trainer for Pegasus.

What an amazing experience this was. Firstly, Tara is absolutely adorable. Barney is the biggest gentlemen dog you can imagine, and gets along with Tara amazingly well. Tommy the cat is just cool, and this family home is absolutely wonderful. You get fresh eggs every day, and amazing garden to relax, in, fantastic neighbours, and lots of places to explore nearby. Maggie and Richard were super helpful, always available, and unbelievably accommodating. I'm looking forward to my next sit here already :)

Lovely property, location and dog ! Jon very kindly and promptly arranged (from his holiday in Spain ! ) for his neighbour to pop round and fix a problem with the TV, which was sorted the same evening, even though i could have managed without. This made me feel very appreciated as a sitter, which means a lot to me. A highly recommended, hassle free sit. Thank you Jon and Brian x
