We hit gold with the acceptance of our sit by Teresa! She is as amazing as all of her reviews suggest. We had a chance to have her come in the evening before our sit and had such a wonderful and informative visit with her. As others have stated, she is a great communicator and ended up sending numerous photos of our dogs while we were gone and the house was spotless when we arrived. She also left an utterly decadent-looking homemade surprise for us. But as impressive as all that is, she just bonded so well with our two dogs. We have had to get sitters more frequently than we would like because we are involved in a major home renovation on another place and feel so guilty every time we leave our two sweet dogs but this time Teresa made us so at ease with her manner with them and I truly believe they would be fine if we left again immediately. Thank you Teresa! We would love to have you join our household again any time you are in our neck of the woods!!!
I just returned from three weeks away from my home to find what I already felt certain I would find after having Lynton care for my two cats and my apartment. I already want to ask him to return anytime possible for future sits! In my experience with zeewoi, Lynton is probably the most stellar combination of being meticulous and detailed oriented sitter along with offering tender, loving care of my cats. From the very start, he took the time to come out interview in person before accepting the sit so that we both knew this would be a good fit. He asked all the right questions and showed sincere interest in the pets and my living environment. While I was gone, he was an excellent communicator about what we going on with the cats. Probably most impressive was the speed that he was able to gain the trust of my one very shy, cautious cat. It usually takes her days to demonstrate any affection towards a new sitter, and sometimes she never quite connects. With Lynton, I think it was only two or three days before she was out from her 'hiding' places and interacting with him. In not much longer, she was showing him the ultimate compliment of 'head-butting' with him. Although for me, three weeks is a long time away, I felt so confident that both my home and my cats were being completely cared for. Lynton was still here when I arrived back from my trip, so we could do a debriefing in person. I found my apartment to be as clean and orderly, if not more so, than what I left it, and most importantly, both cats seemed relaxed and like they had hardly noticed I had been gone!
