Katie is super-organised, and kept in close touch before and during the house-sit (despite being busy driving across Europe for a charity event!). The house is a comfortable, super-freshly-renovated place just a short walk from Haywards Heath train station, and very close to seemingly endless woodland/meadow walks - perfect for a summer country break. And Luna...what to say?! Ridiculously cute. She's definitely a contender for my top spot of all the cats I've looked after in the past year. Very easy to look after, friendly, chilled, fluffy. Very cool cat. Five thumbs up all round :-)
I recently had the pleasure of pet/ housesitting for Jacque and her amazing pets. Sadie, Pia, Rocky, Sissy and the kitties. What A joy it was to care for this fur family. They were all so smart and well behaved. Sadie would ring a bell whenever she needed to go out side. Jacque left me very clear instructions and we communicated frequently via text. Her home is very calm, inviting and comfortable. I would highly recommend this pet/she sit. I hope to return to care for these fur babies soon.
We had such a great experience looking after Kala, she is the sweetest little dog and an absolute breeze to care for. She loves company and a cuddle, and we will really miss her! Janet and Simon's place is beautiful, a light and spacious home with amazing views and walks from the front door. We were very comfortable and had everything we need. Janet and Simon were also lovely - it's been a real pleasure meeting and getting to know them. We'd happily come back and would highly recommend this sit!
Stay in Wimberly at Kirby's place was such a delight! We had never been in the area before and just loved the scenery and vibe. We visted several local parks/trails with Rumi and walked the very short distance to town for food and exploration. He and Tessa were wonderful and a breeze to care for. Rumi is a big, sweet, loveable lug. Kirby's home is just lovely. Wonderful sit.
It was such a delight to housesit for Antonia. The location is ideal, with fantastic views, plenty of activities in the area, and scenic woodland walks, and the house has all manner of DVDs and books to keep you busy if snowed in! The family left lots of tips for the best place to ski that's least crowded, good restaurants, local hangouts etc, that were much appreciated. Once you get used to the curves of the mountain road, navigating is a breeze. Even better than all that are the animals. What a delight to pet sit for these angels! Purdey, the dog, is incredibly well behaved and obedient. She's sweetness personified, and can walk off lead for long hikes playing fetch. The cats are snuggly as well, perfect for getting cozy in front of the wood stove. All in all, this is a gem. We miss the house and animals already, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
We had a lovely time on the east coast looking after Crumble, Guzzle, Jack and the sheep. Meriel and her family were very welcoming, and she replied quickly to any questions we had. Their home is very comfortable and we loved being in a really quiet area, surrounded by nature. There are some great walks right from the doorstep and we enjoyed visiting the nearby towns and beautiful beaches. Crumble and Guzzle are the stars of the show, a total joy to look after. They love going off on adventures, especially if swimming is involved, are great in the car and also very good at cuddling while watching tv in the evening. Jack loves a cuddle and a brush too, and the sheep were very easy. Would love to come back in the future.
