Frances has been brilliant with my Husky Max. He is a difficult dog to walk and very strong, Frances has been able to walk Max and he looks forward to seeing her every day. Frances is able to accommodate changes in timings and provides a very professional and valuable service. I would recommend Paw Power to anyone looking for a Professional and dog friendly service and value for money.

Frances is brilliant with all of my animals, not just taking care of my dog Flynn. I recommend her highly to anyone who loves and cares for their dog but has to work long hours. Frances has been there for me when I've needed her to care for my cat and guineapig too. I don't know how we'd cope without her.

Megan kindly was able to accommodate looking after our beloved Mathew at short notice so we could go away for a few days. We are new to the Denby Dale area and found Megan from multiple positive reviews. Megan came to visit us before we went away. Discussed Mathew's needs and routines. We felt very safe in her hands. She came to see Mathew twice a day and sent photos and an update on how he was doing. The house was tidy when we returned. She had changed his litter tray and disposed of his litter waste and he had fresh water and some biscuits. Mathew was happy on our return and clearly had been cared for. We would highly recommend Megan and her services and will be using her again the next time we go away . Thanks Megan 😊

Megan has been so great with our dog, Rogue. Since the first lockdown, Rogue became fairly attached and anxious when we left her alone. Megan has been such a savour and with her home visit service, we’ve seen such a quick turn around with Rogue. Can’t recommend enough!

Megan always does her utmost to help you out and fit in your pet where and when she can. She always sends lovely photos of my doggy when he's walked and takes care in making sure he's clean and dry before he goes back inside. We use Megan for walking Eric our dog and feeding the Claz the cat when we are working. We also use her for sitting the pets while we go away. I wouldnt trust many people with our fur children but Megan is extremely caring and experienced in her profession. I recommend her without hesitation.

She will send pics and updates throughout. She has occasionally walked them from time to time and they always come back shattered, very reasonable rates as well. Would 100% recommend.

I sent an email regarding dog sitting for our honeymoon for two weeks and also popping to look after our cats with home visits which I received a reply a day later to say yes she was free for them dates which was brilliant so I sent an email back saying to book us in and I would pop through with the deposit and never got any reply! So I gave her a ring and nobody answered so I left a voice mail saying I had sent an email and to give me a ring back please. . . And never heard anything back so I rang the next day and no answer I tried once more the day after and nothing again! I give up! I know people live busy lives but how some people manage to run a business is beyond me.

Louise is so good with my Japanese akita willow.,Always able to fit her in for my weekends away. Willow always comes home very happy and I'm sure she cannot wait for her next visit.I would be lost with out you Louise. You are a top lady who I so trust with my furbaby. 100 percent. Kay was brilliant with our car Carlos. We had a new last minute changes and needed Carlos checked in twice a day and she was happily able to make it work. Kay really put out mind at ease while we were away and got lovely videos and pictures. Would definitely recommend and will use her again when we go away. Very friendly, professional and reliable.

Barnsley Pet Services is absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t be without Kay’s services for our Spaniel pup. We love the updates about our little one and she looks after Zeus as if he was her own. We appreciate her kindness, compassion, knowledge and flexibility. Zeus has been with Kay since 11 weeks old and he loves his visits. He has started his 30 minute walks with Kay and he loves every minute!

Kay has walked my lab Meg once per day from being 14 weeks old (she's now 18 months) Meg loves her morning walk! Kay is consistent, reliable, professional and has genuine love and care for all the pets she looks after. Very highly recommended.

These 2 start screaming as soon as they realise where we are going. They cannot get in the field quick enough. Got to say they absolutely love having the freedom to run a riot.

Just picked my two fur babies up after another wonderful stay for them both. I have been using Rob Royd Boarding Kennels & Cattery for 6 years now and I can honestly say I wouldn’t go anywhere else for this service. My dogs are always so excited when they arrive and eager to get into their unit for their stay. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and honest. They have shown to me their years of knowledge in this business and have always gone above and beyond to meet the needs of my dogs and settle any concerns I may have or bring to them. The site it clean and tidy and very well laid out with indoor heated units and now outdoor heated units. All bedding, toys and food are included in your pets stay along with endless cuddles and plenty of good walks and the odd treat. The site is set in a lovely area and is very secure. For my dogs it’s a home from home experience. They never not want to go into their unit and that to me speaks volumes. You can keep track of your pets stay by following the endless posts on FB too which is reassurance for you if your anxious. To end this is a family run business with only love, care and attention to detail very much present in everything the staff do and provide. Picked our dog up this morning and she was really well looked after for her stay. Staff communicated well and are lovely and friendly. 100% recommendation.

Our dogs came from kennels at Sheffield Greyhound Trust over 5 years ago and have not been in kennels since. Based on the 5 star reviews of the business on Google and reviews and photographs on their Facebook page they seemed the ideal place to keep our dogs safe for a week so I contacted them to book. They were very nice and friendly on the phone and by text so I felt quite confident. I asked to visit the kennels with the dogs a couple of weeks prior to our holiday but was told they weren't accepting visitors but I was given a time of 11am on a Friday to come but I was working so couldn't make it. When we arrived the afternoon before our holiday we were met by Dawn. She was very nice and friendly but rather than take our dogs into an indoor heated kennel we were taken to an area with outdoor kennels, no heating, open to the elements and a small dark area behind a wall to sleep. We were too shocked to say anything and it felt too late in the day to try and find somewhere else for them so we left and I cried all the way home and into the next day. I don't know why they advertise the lovely indoor facilities they do as when we returned to collect the dogs the other outdoor kennels were full of dogs too, maybe it's the cats and small fluffy dogs that get the inside kennels. We expected our dogs to be a bit shut down when we picked them up but they were dirty, smelly and both had visibly lost weight. Our boy looked like he'd starved all week he was so thin and weak. Our girl had damaged the end of her tail, this has never happened before. The dogs had been on concrete floors and had split nails and one had a sore on his foot. My heart broke when I saw them. I just wanted to get them home so didn't really express my concerns to Julie as I was far too upset. I appreciate that Dawn and Julie seem to be nice people, however, I am not happy with the accommodation and can't believe the reviews have never mentioned the awful concrete cells the dogs are kept in. I will never leave my pets in kennels again and I recommend owners go and visit kennels and not rely on misleading photos on Facebook.

Our cats love to go to their home away from home! Dawn and Julie show genuine love and affection to our fur babies! We had the difficult conversation decision to make on whether we cancel our holiday after one of them had major surgery, but we needn't have worried! We left vet and NOK details and Dawn organised their home so there was no jumping! And we had regular messages, videos and photos to reassure us! They're the best! Not just a business, they love what they do ! Thank you 💜 ❤😼😽🐾🐾🐾🐾

Our boys Boris and Barney, the boisterous beagles have gone to Rob Royd since they were puppies. They are happy and healthy and well looked after by Julie and Dawn. They know when they pass Wigfield Farm that they are going on their holidays and get so excited! The kennels are very helpful in getting booked in for our short breaks. We wouldn't want to leave them anywhere else.

Lexie is a 15 year old ‘princess’ that has been going to Robroyd for 6 years, whenever we’ve been on holiday, often for extended periods. I have no hesitation in recommending Robroyd. The care given is professional and diligent, but more importantly loving. Each animal is treated as an individual and if there is a health problem they contact the owner straight away. Dawn and Julie are always ready to ‘go the extra mile’ and we’ve always been delighted with their care.

First time staying here for my boy Louie and he’s loved it!! He came home happy, smiling and clean, you can really tell he’s been looked after, not like the last kennels we left him in. I got updates from the owners and I felt really comfortable leaving Louie in their safe hands. Louie is a rescue and can sometimes be nervous around new people and places but when I collected him you could tell he had really enjoyed his time here and loved the people, Louie will be definitely staying again!! Very happy Springer Spaniel owner 🥰

Came for a meet and greet and was instantly put off by the way we was treated by the staff. They didnt seem to have any interest in my dog what so ever or wanting to board him and said maybe i should build a kennel in my back garden for him and some one to come look after him at my home . Kept saying that there was something wrong with my dogs paws his pads were swollen..he has red sores in them and needed to be looked at. Had him to the vets to which he replied where was they looking as his paws are fine with no concerns no sores or swollen pads.

I left my dog at Rob Royd for the second time several weeks ago. Leaving your dog in kennels is not the ideal scenario for anyone, however needs must, and I trusted the positive reviews which I had seen online to book with Rob Royd. I previously had a good experience using them and chose to return to use their services. On this occasion, however, I am disgusted with the treatment my dog received and also with the events following us collecting him from the kennels. On picking up our dog, he smelt significantly of urine. On examination, returning home, he was covered under his tail/back legs in dried faeces which were not even able to be removed following one thorough bath at home. He is a doodle breed and his own faeces were ingrained into his fur and matted in; it was evident that it had been present for at least several days and not cleaned/noticed by staff. On noticing this, I was very upset and contacted Rob Royd kennels for an explanation. I was greeted with a hostile attitude and was essentially accused of lying by staff member Julie. I was fobbed off for several weeks with excuses and was informed that, should I leave a negative review online, the kennels would simply reply with video footage showing a lack of faeces in my dog’s fur. I’m not sure how a CCTV camera would possibly show clear enough footage to evidently display dried faeces under the tail of a dark brown dog, however I apparently had no argument here. I was eventually told (after chasing this matter 3 times) that I would not be offered any refund by the kennels and I was encouraged, both verbally and via text, to leave them a negative review online. I am outraged by the treatment and follow-up from Rob Royd when my dog returned home in such a state. I will also be liaising with Barnsley Council with regards to this matter. Do not use these kennels under any circumstances, not only due to the primary issue raised, but also due to their terrible customer service should you be dissatisfied with their service.

Willow our 10 month old Cocker had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at Sally's family home, after mixing with the other dogs she came back a better well trained dog for this, also gone was her fear of water and swimming Sally's home if amazing with lots of land for exercise It's kinda like a holiday for your loved ones Stephen & Debbie

My dog Poppy recently stayed here for a week. I found the owners to be lovely. Poppy was so well looked after and went on lots of lovely walks. I would highly recommend. Poppy will be going again soon.

The best doggy daycare and home boarding experience for your fur babies. I've been using Sally's services for almost 5 years now . My dog Rufus loves coming to visit or stay , it's his home from home , he loves the company of the other dogs ,great walks in the open countryside and settling down on his favourite chair in the evening.

Very poor experience. Called whilst on holiday to hear nothing but negative comments from the owner, who was also very arsey and quite frankly rude. Ended up asking family to collect her early we were so upset and unhappy. Would never return or recommend. Stinker of an experience.

My Rhodesian ridgeback back Rodger has stayed with Wednesday a few times and he’s already booked in for my next two holiday.He is always happy to see Wednesday and loves his busy days playing and being with the other dogs ,his days are filled with fun and always plenty of love and cuddles which he likes are always a bonus to him and us . Even when he had his poorly episode recently Wednesday gave him all the attention he needed and had plenty of sleepless nights. The updates from her are great puts my mind at rest as he is a proper pampered big boy .Rodger can’t wait to see Wednesday and viva in July again ,he will have met his match with viva as she’s grown since last time.

Wednesday is great with our labrador. He came back happy and worn out. Communication is very good, she sent us lots of updates and pictures. We're really glad to have found someone so caring and reliable for Leo.

Wednesday had our crazy Dalmatian Ralph whilst we relaxed on our honeymoon. She put us at ease straight away and sent us pupdates on what he was up to, what friends he had made and how he was! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!!

Willow instantly took to the fuss all these strangers were giving her and I was instantly happy with the set up, indoor in a beautiful purpose build room for a dogs needs, outdoor with plenty of space to play or relax. What I loved, was, I saw dog in the front room, that I thought was their dog but it wasn’t, it was a very timid, old girl who needed that additional touch and she was certainly getting that, hidden away with the family, from those young boisterous puppies or big clumsy dogs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else because this is a dog hotel run by a lovely family of dog lovers.

Wouldn’t take Ellie anywhere else, its like her second home. She has been going regularly for the past 4 1/2 years. Ellie has a great time when she is being looked after when we go on our annual holiday, Tori and Lee treat her as one if their own. Couldn't be better.

Esme was a very timid Sproodle who having not socialised as a puppy due to illness goes to Jolly4paws to help improve her socialisation and for the general love and care she receives. Tori and her family have welcomed Esme like their own dog, she loves going to their home from home environment, the walks and general love. She has stayed over on several occasions and I’ve trusted them 💯%, receiving regular updates and photos. Would highly recommend them.

I have also passed the number on to a few friends who have been more than happy with the love and care given to their dogs whilst staying there. I couldn't think of a better 'home from home' environment - huge peace of mind.

My three dogs have been going to Jolly4paws since Tori started and always love going. The whole family love dogs, that's very clear and the dogs are given loads of attention. My three dogs always bound up the driveway knowing they're gonna be well looked after, in fact better than at my home!

What a lovely place for your pets stay our German shepherd Skye has just recently returned home from her staycation she is a very nervous dog but Florence assured me that she would take time out to settle her in which true to her word she did. We arrived to pick her up she was very excited to see us but she was well looked after and would recommend the kennels to anyone. They have bigger kennels for the large dogs which is good. A big thank you to Richard and his team they made our holiday so much less stressful.

Manor House farm in upper Denby looked after our fur babies for nearly 3 weeks, this was their first time in kennels whilst we were in Canada. I personally hated the thought of leaving them as this was the first time ever away from family and in a kennel environment, but Richard and his team have treated them both like royalty from start to finish. The kennels are safe, very clean, in a beautiful working farm setting and spacious for our two dogs to enjoy their home comforts not like your usual small kennels who house 50 dogs plus. We really could switch off on holiday knowing they could bark to their hearts content and have their own space to chill as each kennel has a run and a heated bedroom getting that 1-1 care and walks daily. Richard and the team also took the time to settle in our anxious dog who suffers with fear aggression, she has come home happy and very calm. Bonnie and Bruce have come home happy, healthy, and content after a very long stay at Manor House Farm Kennels 5/5 would recommend to anyone.

Kind friendly staff. I felt comfortable leaving my rottweiler puppy with them. They get 3 walks per day and the kennals are a nice size and heated. I also emailed to check in to see how my pup was coping on his 1st night and got a swift response, so that put my mins at rest. We have booked again. Thank you

I left my large German Shepherd with the team at Manor House Farm whilst we were away for 2 weeks. He can be anxious at times but the team knew exactly how to handle him and settle him. The kennels are heated and have a large area with great views. We will be using Manor Farm Kennels for future stays.

We have boarded our dog at this kennels three times over the years and recommend them highly. The kennels themselves look spacious and when we have collected our dog each time they're just as we left them (maybe a bit fitter given the amount of walks they get). If you want a professional kennels that leaves you with peace of mind whilst your dog stays with them I cannot recommend them enough. Will be coming back next time we go on holidays.

I’ve used Manor House farm a few times now for my dog, and they are absolutely fantastic. The kennels are incredibly clean and each dog has a large space to stay. My dog can be a bit excitable and he’s full of energy, but Richard and the rest of the staff care for him so well. I’ve always felt so relaxed and happy taking my dog here, and he really enjoys his stay too! Would recommend Manor House to anybody

Just picked up our little Ruby from her 3rd stay with Manor House Farm. We never worry about leaving her with them as we know they take great care of her every time. Definitely will always be our 1st and only choice for a kennels whenever we go away.

Do not hesitate to benefit from this clean, safe and friendly boarding kennels. I guarantee your dog/s will wish that you go away more often! ;-) It really is a holiday for your dog and will surely be your new goto kennels. If our collie/poodle cross 'Blue' ever goes off on a free range wonder; I will give Richard a call because it would not surprise me if he turned up at Manor House to check himself in for a little break away!

The best kennels we’ve used! Our 18 month old Golden Retriever seemed to love it! We visited before his stay and when we dropped him off we were able to put his stuff in his space and then pick him up from where he’d been staying so nothing was ever kept away from us or kept a secret like we’d seen in other kennels. Richard was always quick to answer anything before Ruddles stay and while he was there he messaged to say he was fine. Richard allowed me to pick up 30 minutes earlier than normal too. We would 100% use them again. Thank you!
